Tetsugaiya crumbled up the little sheet of paper and crossed his arms over his chest. Co-ed dorms eh? No wonder Okaasan was so eager to drop me off.. Yada yada (good grief). He thought to himself before answering Hana's question. I-I'll take the left side if that's alright. He said while walking back to the couch and sitting in it again. I-I'm Tetsugaiya. It's nice to meet you H-Hana-chan. The boy was still blushing. He couldn't believe that he'd be sharing a room with a girl as beautiful as her.

Hana waited for his answer, and once he answered she tossed her stuff that she was carrying on the bed. Then a few men knocked on the door with the rest of Hana's belongings. She opened the door and told them, "Just set the boxes on the right side... Hey, be careful with those." As the men were leaving the intercom came on saying there was a strict curfew. As she heard this she gave a moan of disagreement. 'Well that is really disappointing. Now I can't take my late night walks. Whatever, rules are made to be broken.'
The blonde then turned to Tetsugaiya and replied, "Nice to meet you too. So is there anything I need to know about you? Allergies conditions? You should probably know I am irritated easily." She wanted to warn the what seems to be nice kid. She does not want to crush his soul when she blows up. Not if, when it occurs, because she will.
Gavin couldn’t help but chuckle and shrug as Rin blushed beet red and and waved her hands wildly as she said that she wouldn’t need the room alone at nights. ”Never say never.” he teased. Standing and turning back to his bed, he gathered his empty bags and walked over, tucking them into the top of the small closet. Personally, he didn’t plan on having any late night visitors. He had learned the hard way that relationships were just a source of pain. Moving regularly, he had never had the chance to develop anything significant. And the one time that he tried, when he was forced to move again, it was the most painful experience of his young life. After that, he knew that he wasn’t going to have a shot at that until he got away from his father and this insane hopping around the earth that they did.
He heard Rin offer her help if he needed it. There was a note of concern in her voice and he realized that she was genuine. Even though he wasn’t a talker, he was tempted to explain that it wasn’t academics that screwed him over last year, it was his attitude. His father had started dating the high school tutor on the base at Camp Fredrick where they were stationed. She was pretty and nice and it wasn’t the first time that his father had dated. But when his father started talking about making the move there permanent so he could stay with her, Gavin had gone off. After how his father had torn him away from Viv and said that a relationship was no reason to determine the course of their lives, then to do the exact same thing when it was HIS relationship… Gavin had gone off.
Sgt. Garrison, the woman his father was dating, was his teacher. Gavin found himself acting out in class, skipping class, mouthing off and purposely failing, hoping that the trouble he created would cause friction between them. Not his most mature moment, but he was bitter. However, all it did was serve to make his father more determined to make things work with the girl and the best way to do that was to ship his troubled son away.
So, here he was. Luckily, an announcement barked over the PA system about the curfew. ”yeah, yeah” Gavin murmured under his breath. He was so sick of being told what to do and how to do it. But he kept reminding himself that it was only for one more year and then he would be free. Plus, they didn’t limit what time they could get up. Growing up on military bases, Gavin was used to rising early and actually loved it. There was a calm, quiet to the mornings and he was looking forward to jogging while the campus was still sleeping.
Looking at Rin, he raised his hands, surrendering to the disembodied voice from the announcement. ”I’ll jump in the bathroom first. I’m fast.” Since she was still unpacking, he figured that it was most efficient if he got in and out of the bathroom before her. After all, she seemed sweet and quiet, but she was still a girl. There was no telling how long it would take for her to get ready for bed. Grabbing a towel and his pajamas, he headed into the washroom.
Fifteen minutes later, he emerged, his clothes for the day rolled up neatly to drop in the laundry basket by his dresser along with his folded damp towel. He was wearing a pair of boxers and cotton lounge pants. He was shirtless but really he felt that this was enough of a compromise. He was used to just sleeping in boxers and was already feeling restless with the pants on. There was no way he was going to have to wear a shirt too. Grabbing a book off of his desk, the manual to the engine in his car, he dropped onto his bed, jerking his thumb at the bathroom. ”I left you plenty of hot water.”
Reaching over he plugged in his cell phone and made sure that his alarm was set before tucking it under his pillow. He hated feeling trapped in the dorm by curfew, so he was already anxious for his morning run.

Rin andRyu
Where: Room 105
Where: Room 107
"Never say never" Gavin said making Rin's face turn a bit more red. "No... no it's ... it's just..." she struggled over the words. Only Ryu had know what had happened and that was simply because he had been right there with her. Saving her from trying to explain, the PA system went off announcing the curfew time and such, she couldn't help letting out a small giggle as Gavin seemed to be talking back to the system trying to shoo it away.
When Gavin said that he'd go into the bathroom first Rin nodded and continued putting some of her stuff away, placing a rubix's cube at her bedside. It was a toy that Ryu had given her when they were younger, since puzzles and playing with something in her hands helped to calm her down and relax a bit. She had a few other puzzle games placed in one of her desk drawers but the rubix's cube had always been her favorite.
Setting her pajama's and a towel onto her bed ready so she could go into the bathroom once Gavin had finished, Rin grabbed the rubix's cube and started playing around with it. It wasn't hard for her to solve it anymore, but it helped her to think. He seems nice... it'll be okay, just stay calm. Ryu is only a door or two over. she thought to herself. Rin snapped out of her thoughts as Gavin reenter the room. Placing the cube back next to her bed she turned to him and tensed a moment not expecting him to not have a shirt on. "Umm alright. Thank you." she said quickly grabbing her towel and pajamas before heading into the bathroom.
Rin didn't take long to finish up in the bathroom, her hair was short so washing it didn't take much time. Walking back into the room with a large blank red t-shirt and black knee length soccer shorts, Rin placed her dirty clothes into her hamper before heading back over to her bed. Grabbing the now empty bag she had left on her bed she went over to the closet and opening it up. Looking at the top shelf, Rin tried to get her bag up there but couldn't seem to reach it even on her tip toes she kept losing her balance as she tried to get the bag to stay. Come on...please... just.. almost had it.... little more.. Rin thought to herself.

Ryu shrugged"This is my first time at a private school as well."he admitted before the announcement kicked in. Ryu couldn't help but to smirk a bit as Marian stated that they were a bit old for a curfew. "Guess they don't want people running around doing stupid stuff." Ryu spoke flopping backwards onto his bed. Wasn't the stereotype something along the lines of kinds doing drugs and alcohol or something. "Yep definitely going to be a long and weird year." Ryu agreed with Marian, it was honestly a bit odd to be talking to a single person in a room like this that wasn't his sister."So you have any friends or family going here?" he asked curiously thinking that if so then maybe those people could help them get oriented.

➽Marian scoffed a little. She liked having the option to go ride her motorcycle at night if she wanted. It was soothing. She supposed that wouldn't happen much this year. Maybe if she woke up early enough she could do it in the morning... Though she wasn't much of a morning person. "Yeah, I guess teenagers are a pretty rowdy group..." She agreed, finally. Knowing that the school probably had a good reason for it.
Marian shook her head when he asked if she had any family here. "All my friends are at my old school..." She mostly mumbled, not really wanting to share that she had been expelled from the last one for fighting. "How about you?" She asked quickly, trying to take the topic off of herself.
She stood, then, deciding she'd better start putting some of her things away before she went to bed.➳

Tetsugaiya quietly watched as a couple of men entered the dorm to drop off Hana's stuff. I wonder what's up with all the boxes. Hopefully the boxes aren't full of clothes! He was curious but didn't want to ask about it. As the announcements finished up, Tetsugaiya chuckled at Hana's comment. The rebellious type? WAHH~ Kanojo wa kawai desu~ (She's pretty cute~) The red haired boy decided to stay calm and try to loosen up. There's no need to be shy around his roommate. Um, nah. I'm just uh.. Pretty awkward I guess. Heh heh heh. He itched his head and let out an awkward chuckle. She's cute and is irritated easily?! She's just like one of those anime babes from that manga I was reading! Tetsugaiya was having too much fun with this. Hopefully Hana never finds out about his thoughts or it might just be the end of him. How about you Hana-chan? Is there anything else I should know about you? He was curious about the type of person she is. It'd be better to ask now, just in case she was in a irritable mood later.
♩♪♫♬ Kyoko Usagi ♬♫♪♩ ~♬Female♬17♬Senoir♬~ Keeping her distance and eye contact from her roommate, she unpacks her things. Then a announcement was informing about curfew times. -Why do I have to get a earlier curfew, I need to get expelled soon... just gotta brake some rules- She turns her music up and lays back on her bed. She peeks over to her roommate, -How am I supposed to talk to him... He too quite..- OOC:

If the slowly setting backround wasn't enough to let the male realize the passage of time, the announcement was sure to catch his ear. Haku had 15 minutes before the school took disciplinary action. With a general sigh he washed his hands and exited the bathroom. He was exploring throughout most of the day and doing his best to scan for anyone who could have the potential he sought. Unfortunately he was taken aback by how empty the place was in terms of active potential. Every girl here was either too innocent or prissy to handle and every man here was either straight or too pushy. He wanted someone who could covet each of these personalities, someone with a completely adorable and unstoppable combination of them all. Was that far too much to ask?
With his hands washed he made his way through the school building and off towards the dorms where he was rather surprised to see a rather adorable 'black rabbit' enter before him. He had been told when he got here this morning that he would be sharing the room with someone but he had assumed the unlucky creature would be a female. He couldn't have complained and luckily the shorter male hadn't noticed him. With his black hat tilted slightly downward he made his way to the room.
Haku was tall, and sculpted, not incredibly buff but obvious build could be seen even through the academies outfit. His hair was a silhouette of the most charming blood red and his sensible shoes were leather and black to match his gloves. He knew better than to try and customize his school outfit and beyond adding a black tie he didn't. He looked almost like the red devil in disguise himself but with a charming smile like his own, could you really complain?
Standing at the doorway he glanced across the room. He had already been in here once and made sure to unpack his things. His bed wasn't far from his roommates and was dressed to perfection with an assortment of Haku's sheets and blankets. Each pillow was black, made of soft cotton whilst the blankets were smooth black with red roses adorning their coloring. Each inch of the blanket was stuffed to the brim with puffs of soft satin, the perfectly comfortable looking place to rest. "Good evening..." He said, his rather soothing baritone echoing towards the bespectacled male. "Who do I have the honor of making acquaintance with on this night?" He offered, pushing off of the doorway before closing it behind him and turning to the male sitting on his bed.

⊰And what do we have here?⊱
Where: My dorm room. II With: A rather delicious new possibility. II Feeling: Rather exhausted, but amused.
'Oh my, is this boy awkward,' Hana thought to herself. She opened one of the boxes and started to put some of the clothes she brought away. The boxes she had brought were full of many items: clothes, shoes, make-up, art to hang on walls, comforter, sheets, notebooks, folders, school supplies, towels, a mattress pad (make her bed comfy), and more. She came all prepared. Hana wanted to make herself as comfortable in her cage as she could.
The blonde continued to unpack as she spoke to her roommate, "Well, why don't I give you my life biography. I am rich, always gone to private school, and don't care what other people think. That is pretty much everything you need to know." She says this very matter-of-factually. That pretty much is her life in a nutshell. Her parents have so much money they do not know what to do with it. Hana knows no other life than private school. She had only one really good friend at her old school, and leaving her broke a little bit of Hana's cold heart. She becomes very possessive of people in her life. This girl also does not care what others have to say to her. She does what she wants, when she wants to.
After a while, Hana was tired of unpacking her possessions. She had put on her own sheets, comforter, and pillow on to the bed, and was time to go to bed. Hana said over to Tetsugaiya, "I like to shower in the mornings, so my alarm is going to be set for 6:00am. Just warning you. I am going to go get changed into my pjs." The sassy girl took her pjs and walked to the bathroom to get changed. She walked back out in a nightgown that went down to her mid-thigh and underwear. Hana then hopped into her bed with a book to read.

As Gavin read through the engine maual, he grabbed a pen and made a tally down the side of the page. He was going to be working for Luis all year to pay back the repairs he was going to need to make on his car. Especially since he could only work after school until eight so he could get back in time for curfew. Not to mention he was going to have to keep up with his studies enough to pass. Sighing in discontent, he reached the manual over onto his nightstand and laid back on his bed, a thick arm dropping over his eyes as he rested. It had been a long day.
Sooner than he expected, Rin was padding out of the bathroom. Having been prepared for a high maintenance roommate, he was somewhat thrown off by her shy, sweet demeanor. Gavin could easily see how her brother was so protective of her. Thinking of the two of them brought Gavin back to old memories. As a little boy he had always wanted a brother or sister. But when he was about twelve and his father was dating a nurse on the base, Gavin had asked him again if he might ever get a sibling. Maybe it was the way that he had worded it or maybe his father was just in an exceptionally bad mood, but the normally calm man exploded, ‘No, you’re not going to have a little sister because your mother is gone! Get it through your head!’ Gavin had never realize how much his mother’s death had still bothered his father. But he never asked again after that day.
He had started acting out when he was thirteen. Every time he and his father would fight about something, Gavin found himself mentally chanting, I’m never going to do this to my kids. He would never put his career before his family, continually drag them around the world for his convenience. He would never blame his children for family tragedies and without his affection and attention just because he didn’t know how to express himself. No, someday, he was going to do it the way that he would have liked.
Maybe. Gavin knew if he had kids, that is what he would want. But he just couldn’t see himself ever actually doing that. It just seemed so…calm.
While he was continuing to lay back on his bed, he heard the muffled sounds of struggle. Raising his arm slightly and turning his head to squint in the direction of the noise, he saw Rin. She was on her tip toes, struggling and failing to get her bag onto the top shelf of her closet. There was a look of total determination but also a sense of futility about the whole thing. His guy reaction was pity. This girl totally isn’t going to make it here. Then almost instantly he recoiled from his own gut reaction. That was military thinking. All of the junior exercises that they did and boot camps, when someone struggled, you knew that they weren’t going to cut it. There was no effort to help them because it was painfully clear that they just weren’t cut out for the physicality and discipline that the exercise required. It might not be that way in battle, but on the bases during exercises, it was cutthroat competitive.
But this wasn’t the military. This was the real world. It wasn’t some competition. No one had to struggle alone here. He might not care about being social or dating, but this was going to be his roommate for the next year. If he was going to be helping anyone around here, it might as well be her. Gavin had swung his legs off of his bed and walked up behind her. As he stepped along side her, he put on hand on her back to steady her as his other hand took the bag from her fingertips and set it easily to the back of the top shelf.
((OOC: I ended that a bit abruptly so that if Rin had a knee jerk reaction, I wasn’t having him talk over it or anything.))

Minori Toru Wherebiggrinorm room #109.
Minori had started unpacking some of his things.He was hungry and wanted to make some food before the school made them turn the lights off.He had just gotten his rather new cookware out of his suitcase when a male walked in.''Evening....I'm Minori.'' he said,looking at the male.The red haired male was rather handsome and he was surprised that he'd even noticed he existed.He could almost laugh at how the male looked and suppressed a chuckle.He had seen rather average students his entire time in high school but this guy looked like he had just stepped off the front page of a fashion magazine or was some model that came from a photoshoot.He didn't even know why the male would bother speaking to him but it didn't matter.As long as the male didn't interrupt his studies,he didn't care what the male did.He seemed to have arrived earlier than him and had probably been out,flirting with people or something.He then looked back at his bag.''I should of bought groceries today.'' he thought.At the thought,he allowed an audible 'Tsk.' to escape his mouth.''There's enough food to last today and tomorrow morning though.I'll be fine til tomorrow....It needs to be something that I can make quickly....I have enough to make a decent soup.I'll just make soup and crackers.'' he thought.He then started getting ready to cook,going to the kitchen to wash the small pot before setting it on the small stove.He then opened the two cans of soup before pouring the soup into the pot.

Tetsugaiya tucked his hands behind his head while Hana gave him a small glimpse about the type of person she was. You're rich, always gone to private school, and don't care what other people think.. Interesting. He repeated after her. Tetsugaiya was still laying on the couch as he heard his roommate unpack her stuff. Hana definitely brought quite the load but he wouldn't judge, half of this dorm was hers anyways. The lazy boy started unpacking his things as well. He separated his clothes from his personal belongings, his bathroom essentials from his school materials. The process of separation didn't take very long. Tetsugaiya had his area clean within minutes. Hmm? Hana warned him about something but he wasn't paying attention to it. Um. Yeah, okay. He agreed without question. Tetsugaiya watched as the sassy Hana walked to the bathroom to change into her pajamas. R-Right! He blushed. This is something new the boy had to get used to. Tetsugaiya gulped hard when she came out of the bathroom. WAHHH~ So Kawaii~ He had a mental nosebleed. He grabbed a pair of shorts and walked into the bathroom next. Tetsugaiya took off his black school blazer and trousers then switched into a pair of shorts. Ah, so comfy. He mumbled to himself as he walked out of the bathroom. Hana had her nose deep in a book, he didn't want to bother her but he remembered something she said earlier. Hey Hana-chan.. He called out to her while taking a seat on his bed, facing her. A-Are you still going on a walk tonight? He asked. Tetsugaiya wanted to tag along but only if she planned on going.
It had been three years since his father committed to his brand of parenting. Young Haku was sixteen years old and he was just as quiet and just as small as the male who stood before him. Within those three years he had taken to bettering himself academically, keeping himself physically fit, and taking in the arts. He had mastered the art of wooing and the varied reactions he had received that very day were something he would remember forever. Today was the first day of his new life and every person he managed to flirt with today was blown away by his attention and attentive in return. This one, this, Minori... It felt like a serious pride to not act that way.
It was, refreshing. Minori seemed weak in stature but proud in movement and expression, it was as if every fiber of his being was dedicated to something. This dorm certainly was Minori's world, and Haku was just gracious enough to live in it. After a rather brief and one sided introduction, Minori turned back to packing his things before retreating to their shared kitchen. Haku had made sure to stock the fridge and cupboards with a few essential food items and small flavor essentials like spices and condiments. If he was good at anything it was making people blush and playing music, of course it felt a lot like his talent in one of those fields was severely lacking now.
Now alone in the conjoined bedroom area he moved to his bed, slowly and carefully taking off his shoes and depositing them to the side. He sat down, undoing his jacket and placing it aside before slowly undoing his tie. It looked a lot like the room was without a sensible hat rack of any kind so Haku decided instead to use one of the closets not far from his bed. It looked like the whole dorm came with two closets so he was fine with this. He opened his closet and deposited his coat and tie, carefully folding what he could and placing them on a matching coat hanger. Below were a few left over cases that housed his clothes. The sudden smell of soup wafted in the air and bittersweet memories of home came crashing into Haku's thoughts. He remembered back when he lived in a horrid one story home with a closet of a bedroom, soup from a can was his life. He couldn't help but feel the distant pain of hunger panging at his stomach. Of course he wasn't one to bother people and Minori seemed to prefer his distance.
Instead of prying he proceeded to get himself prepared for bed, school was starting tomorrow. He undid his top, allowing his chest to exist bare before folding the white shirt and placing it on the upper shelve, one marked mentally as the laundry pile. With nothing but socks and his charmingly fitting pants he walked into the kitchen to find the quiet male busy cooking. "My name is Haku, it's a pleasure to meet you." His voice was still soothing but his tone was quiet. He didn't wish to bother the other male and he certainly didn't wish to pursue anyone who was fine on their own. Instead he turned to open the fridge, pulling a small bottle of water from a pack he had purchased and turned to walk back to the bedroom.

Rin andRyu
Where: Room 105
Where: Room 107
To focused to hear Gavin walking up behind her, Rin let out a small cry feeling someone touch her back and she quickly dropped down, her head on her knees and her hands covering her head. Her body shook, memories rushing back to her, it was something she couldn't help.
The couple that had took them in back when they were little had been harsh on them. It was rare for the twins to not take some form of abuse every day. This had made Rin become very nervous when someone touched her suddenly. The abuse had lasted what seemed like eternity, then.... it happened... the day both Rin and Ryu will never forget.
A few moments after, not feeling anyone beating her, Rin cautiously removed her hands and looked up at Gavin, suddenly remembering where she was. Quickly wiping at her eyes she stood back up on shaky legs. Oh no... calm down... he... he just wanted to help... calm. she thought to herself trying to push the memories into the back of her mind. She hated people seeing her that way, it always seemed to scare people off or something, this was suppose to be their new start... and now... she felt like she had ruined it. To nervous to look Gavin in the eyes, Rin's gaze was on the floor as she bowed "Th- thank you." she spoke her voice shaking a bit. Staying in a bowed position Rin continued "Sorry... it's... it's nothing you did... I... I just..." Rin stuttered not knowing what to even say, only knowing that right now she wanted Ryu to come and comfort her like he always did.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Ryu stayed where he was on the bed a bit unsure how to answer Marian's question "Uhh I don't really have friends... I tend to move a lot." Ryu explained making sure to leave out that he'd gone in and out of the orphanage."I have a sister that's going here, but she's in the same boat as me. Never been to a private school." Ryu stated half wondering how Rin was holding up. He didn't care much for the curfew, he liked to walk around at night since he couldn't really walk around much during the day due to the sun irritating his skin since he was albino.
"I guess we'll figure out everything tomorrow." Ryu spoke sitting up. "I'm gonna go change."he spoke before getting up grabbing his pajamas and heading into the bathroom. A few moments later he walked back out in a blank navy t-shirt and black knee length soccer shorts. Tossing his dirty clothes in his hamper he had set up in the closet, before he flopped back down onto his bed.
