"It's true that your word alone is worth very little," Petra said, "but as things stand, I either trust that word - if only for the time being - or we're stalemated. If the analysis of that file comes back favorable, I'll choose the former."

The Rocket seemed to be pleased enough with this response, and with a light smile nodded in turn. folding her cuffed hands together.
"In that inevitable outcome would you consider undoing the bindings?"

Petra tented her fingers on the table, her gaze lowered contemplatively. She raised her eyes and shrugged lightly, "I can begin to consider it."

In the next moment, a knock came from the entrance and the door opened enough to reveal an officer standing there with a paper in his hand. Petra rose to approach and meet the new arrival, and the two conferred quietly for a moment. They finished in short order, and as the door closed, Petra returned to the table.

"One of our specialists was able to confirm that information in your partial file pointed to the structure of an unknown pokeball," she said. "As promised, I'll take you at your word when you say that you do not intend to cause harm in this region following our cooperation. However, whether or not I cede to extend that cooperation depends immensely on what kind of information you plan to offer us. I'll make it simple: In exchange for pardoning you of your crimes to date and providing the resources you request, we would require intelligence that could be used to make an immediate difference in this region, such as base locations, future missions, and security information. Is that something that you're able to provide us?"

"I think I can handle that." The dark blond replied, with a note that implied that she already had some information in mind. "You'll understand it will be in due time, I have my own self preservation to look out for as well, and you know how Team Rocket treats the ones who oppose them,"

As though what she had said had brought up a sudden memory that was once forgotten, the Agent sat up a little straighter, gave a slight grimace and sat up even more "Oh- ... huh."

Petra inclined her head slightly to a side, a look of confusion - or suspicion - in her features. "Is there a problem?"

Faleen seemed to remain in the moment of the grimace, though slowly turned back to Petra as she allowed a polite smile to form over her face again "Bad memories I guess, not a problem, no."

As dubious as Petra remained, she chose to accept the dismissal of the matter and instead pursued clarification, "Then you find my conditions agreeable?"

"I find them very agreeable, yes. Now you just need to find my conditions agreeable and we're in business!" Faleen pressed her hands together, then shifted them forward, as if bringing the cuffs to Petra's attention "Hate to be a nag-" The Agent said with a grin.

"All right," Petra said, "then we'll enter a relationship of mutual respect. I'll trust you not to violate that respect until I'm given a reason to believe otherwise." Her expression remaining as staid as ever, she moved to undo the binds on Faleen's wrists. "So, how exactly would you like to go about this exchange of ours?"

"Hey, count me in, I'm all for an agreement of mutual benefit, so long as I get what I need."
Pleased that she was now free from the bindings, the agent pulled her hands back, rubbings at her wrists and reaching her hands up over her head as she stretched.
"When I've got information for you, I'll come to you, and give it over after we've come to an agreement on compensation." The Agent smiled, folding her hands in her lap and leaning back in her seat.
"For now, though, Much of my information is... unassessable, so to start I'm going to need a few things, starting with a computer, and lets start with about... five thousand, that should find me a place to stay. right?"

The line of Petra's lips shifted into a mild, thoughtful frown. "I'm fine with that arrangement going forward, but I'm hesitant to let you walk out of here freely without any concrete evidence that you'll return. Perhaps, for example, the computer and five thousand are all you're actually after, and once we hand them over you'll leave us high and dry. I have in mind two different solutions: One, we receive information from you today equal in value to the computer and money, or two, you leave us with some sort of collateral and a calendar date by which we can expect to hear from you again."

"I came to you of free will, I came back here and offered my cooperation of free will, I even handed over a sample of my information out of free will, why would I not want to continue this exchange? Especially since I need a whole lot more then a computer and a measly amount of money. Haa haa, but then again that is just my word"

Eyebrows arching and her head turning to the side a little "I guess you're just going to have to trust me. I have no intention of staying here, and besides, keeping me here will just separate me from the rest of the proof you need, and possibly make me... reconsider my partnership with the KSO.
Lets not try and complicate this wonderful relationship commander Petra, and you're one greatest chance to stop Team Rocket."

"Five thousand isn't exactly a measly amount, depending on how you spend it," Petra said. "It's by far more than enough to leave the region, for instance. If you were penniless and came here to scam us out of enough money for the bare essentials to start your life over elsewhere, it would certainly be a success." She raised her hand in a light gesture, "How about this: Do you have your Rocket-issued pokedex on you? I would be willing to exchange the computer and money for that, even if only to hold onto it temporarily. You could even go through it first and clear off anything you don't want us to have yet."

"Ah, is it?" Faleen continued with a thoughtful expression "It just sounded like a good amount to me."

Holding her hands up, "You're team already searched me, I have nothing on me, other then the chip I already gave you."

Petra tented her fingers together. "A bit of an impasse, hmm..." She pondered over the matter silently for a moment before nodding her head, "Well, if I think about it, I suppose it's fine. Very well - I'll take you at your word."
