Gyrados, Zevran assumed, were large predators of some kind; he'd look it up later. "A lot of things depend on a lot of things," he replied to Sasha with a soft chuckle. "It does seem like it could get complicated, and full of bitterness and unpleasantness and lawsuits...." Poison type eh? Now that sounded promising, he could do a lot with a creature that created... well would you call it a venom because the creature was animate, or still poison because it was a plant? The old adage went: if you bite it and you die it's poison, if it bites you and you die it's venom. Potentially both then? Something to investigate at his leisure, he had never been much for textbook definitions save where it really counted.

"I have heard of pokemon needing stones to evolve, I've never seen it happen though." Zevran rolled his now shrunk pokeball thoughtfully between thumb and forefinger as he continued to wander along beside Sasha. A grass and poison type that needed a stone, very interesting and very useful; the ones which evolved by stones tended to be quite strong no? As did those which had three forms, so this had been rather a lucky find really.

"And you needn't apologise for rambling," Zevran added, tucking the pokeball away in a pocket and turning back to Sasha with a grin. "I have nothing against rambling, or against you!" 'At the moment' hinted a certain salacious slyness in the grin.

[Zevran, the fields]Sorry Spinarak, not coming home with me

Slipstream darted ahead, head tipped as she took in the small spider pokemon and with a sharp grin, flipped it on its back before darting away. She could find better food.

Lex followed and knelt righting the Spinarak without getting bit, and watched it scurry off and away. "Evolution is evolution, but it is spectacular when it happens. Budew are rather common, but they are good grass types."

Ah, cruelty for it's own sake. Charming! Zevran's lips curved up in a little smile as the red-crested pokemon darted away, though at least Sasha put the creature the right way up again.

"You are something of a trainer then?" Zevran asked, turning back to Sasha as though nothing had happened. "Or is that sort of thing common knowledge in these parts?" He would have to educate himself more on the subject of pokemon it seemed, at least he would if he was going to stay here for any length of time.

[Grasslands]

Ahh, the weather was perfect! The sun shone brightly across the farmland, only interrupted by the occasion white, fluffy cloud that drifted lazily through the sky; because of this, Alice had opted for a wide-brimmed straw hat with a pale green ribbon wrapped around it, and a bright golden sunflower pinned to one side. She had no need for sunglasses with such a wide brim, which it made it easier to see clearly to take pictures with the camera that hung from a strap around her neck. Despite her desire to wear a dress and boots, given the type of place they were visiting today she'd instead opted for a sunny yellow tanktop, a white hoodie, a simple pair of jeans, and pale green flats. "Isn't it pretty?" She asked her pokemon as she turned in a slow circle so she could see the entirety of the grasslands, as well as the other areas of the farm. "We can check out the rest later, but I think here's a good place to start, don't you?"

The Sylveon at her side trilled in agreement, eagerly spinning in a circle (albeit much faster than her trainer) to see the whole farm several times. A petite Ralts attempted to spin in place too, but tripped over herself partway through and fell into the grass with a soft fwump.

[Oliver, Grasslands]

It was suppose to be a gift, and Oliver just wanted to shove his ability to understand Normal types down the legendarily throat. There was a lot of normal type pokemon, in what seemed to be every type of terrain. They were everywhere, and common, and he was still having difficulties blocking out the chatter.

The birds were the worse.

He sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose and took a deep breath before walking through the grasslands. Only way to get use to it was to practice.
