_______________The Narrator Whispers... ||
As Toya removed the red mask from the face of the first slain enemy, the body faded away into nothing, leaving the spear that pierced its side on the ground where it should have been.
Where as a single good tug might have been enough to pull the mask free, Toya chose to carve it off. The creature spat and screamed in pain, fighting to get its arms free of the sticky material, as thick, black liquid gushed from its wounds. And, just as Toya was about to finish removing the mask, its sword arm broke free. But it was too late. As the mask was removed, the goblinoid froze and faded into nothing before its face could be revealed. Its sword fell to the ground with a clatter.
Should the boy turn around, he would catch sight of Servus standing in the entrance to the small cave, watching Toya as he methodically worked to removed the mask. Aside from the strange and spongy bruising he had before, he seemed uninjured. Although, given the handful of masks in one hand and the black goop dripping from the clawed hand, the enemy didn't fair so well. He said nothing, only stared for a long moment before retrieving his discarded robe from where it had been left on the ground.
[Atsuma/Toya gains +150 exp. Gained a Blue and Red Mask. They don't appear to do anything.]

_______________The Narrator Whispers... ||
Servus said nothing in response to Toya's question regarding enjoying life's pleasures. However, he did give pause at the shift in personality, though whether or not he actually noticed was left to be decided. His yellow gaze remained fixed on the boy as he moved about gathering his things. Once Atsuma was ready, Servus led the way out of the cave and back out into the snow.
There must have been at least a couple of feet of snow, as it came up to the knees. What's more, black liquid marred the otherwise serene white, and deep scores in nearby trees and even the stone around the cave entrance suggested how the battle had gone. Just like the two Toya had defeated, no bodies remained, as they would have faded away when their masks were removed. Servus paid no mind to the scenery and instead, after a brief glance around, started through the forest, travelling the opposite direction the blizzard-creating dragon had landed earlier. After a moment he glanced back at Atsuma, though his gaze never met the boy's. "If it is not out of place to ask... Where are you from?"

_______________The Narrator Whispers... || His curiosity seemingly satiated after the single question, Servus was silent again for a while longer, leaving you free to ask your own questions or walk in silence as well. Eventually, they came across a frozen stream, at which Servus paused and stood staring at the surface. Then suddenly claws extended from his left sleeve and he wheeled his arm back before slamming the claws into the ice. Cracks spiderwebbed across it. A second strike broke it completely, revealing the running water underneath. Claws retracting once more, he knelt beside the hole he made and scooped water, somewhat awkwardly given the difference in size between his hands, into his hands and brought it to his mouth. Once done, he backed off to allow you a chance at the water if you desired and finally spoke once more. "Not far from here is a city. It is empty of humans, but there is movement there. I think someone may have woken there. I want to find them. That place is not safe."

Crackling noises was heard throughout the empty snow ridden lands. She was resting. Peacefully. Everything was calm.. good and - "It's cold!" She shouted as sudden cold temperatures knocked her into reality. Shivering already, her hues glanced around. Where the heck was she?! Grabbed her bag roughly, she started to dig through it. "Come on.. come on.." She would mutter angrily under her voice. She hated it if she ever entered into something unknown and not know what's going on. And that's where exactly she was. Unknown. "Yes." A triumph shout can be heard as she got out warm clothes. removing only her cap, she put on everything else and didn't care if it felt uncomfortable or tight. First was the thick and warm sweatpants like but with outer protection for the snow. Inside was so soft and fuzzy. Second was the long sleeve shirt but then a hoodie after that with the same outer layer to keep her dry and warm. She started to feel batter and better as she puts on socks and proper shoes. Exhaled with satisfaction, she stood up and glanced around to try and figure out to where she was. This didn't make any sense at all! One day she was training underneath the hot and scorching sun of the Sungakure, and the next she was here?! Was this some sick joke!? Her eyes caught her weapon as she signed with relief. At least she had that. Picked it up, she made sure she packed everything and glanced around. Where to gooooo where to go.
"Whatever." She muttered as she span in circles and suddenly stopped, the halberd pointed a direction for her. "That way then. See if I can find someone to explain what the hell is all this." While searching, she would also be looking for any edible looking stuff. She was slightly hungry.

_______________Another Awakening... ||
For what seemed like eternity, but at the same time no time at all, Thundra floated in darkness. He could vaguely recall himself, who he was, and what he was, as if a voice had guided him along that path to remembrance, but the voice itself faded away like it had never existed to begin with. All is at peace, at rest in the comforting embrace of the abyss, until a crack splits the air, resounding in the nothingness. With it came light and humidity as it slowly spider-webbed outward. Then it shattered altogether and he was released from his prison, where he fell to the cold earth, strength not immediately returning to his limbs. This weakness would only last a brief moment before he was filled with energy that could have kept him going for what felt like days, fulling rested and at his prime.
Thundra would find himself surrounded by white, untouched snow, marred only by shards of smokey glass, enough of it to more than coat a human body. The snow beneath you is as chilly as the air, which immediately nips at exposed skin. Trees litter the hilly landscape, in some places sparse and others tightly packed. While there is some undergrowth, most has been covered by perhaps a recent storm. And the world is hauntingly quiet under the evening sky. However, as the thunderous sound of his immersion fades into nothing, birdsong returns, and the forest gradually returns to life.
_______________And In Response... ||
Oiwa as she traversed through the snowy landscape saw, occasionally, a tall, near opaque crystalline boulder, large enough to fit a human within. The obsidian-like material was not unlike the glass that surrounded her upon wakening. But those she tried to interact with did nothing, changed in no way, and they appeared unbreakable. That is, until one, not too far from where she walked, shattered, and a figure fell free from it into the cold snow. Another human?
