Scholar Class

___Description:
The Scholar is an individual who has specialized in the more niche fields of ninjutsu. It is for this reason that their abilities focus on the two schools of sensory and sealing.

___Notes / Reminders:

• Allows you to have access to both sealing techniques which are not universal, as well as sensory techniques.
• Unless specified otherwise by a discipline, both sensory and sealing techniques are subtracted from your total ninjutsu count.
• When you select this class, you must also pick exactly one of its disciplines. A discipline cannot be replaced or taken away.
• Maximum energy pool increases are cumulative. (They do not replace each other as you rank up, rather they are all added together.)

___Specialization:
• If this class is taken as the first and second class, you may pick 2 of its disciplines. Additionally, fuuinjutsu and sensory techniques used by this specialization are cheaper in cost as determined by the user's body rank. At body rank D and C costs are reduced by five [5]. At body rank B and A, costs are reduced by ten [10]. Finally at body rank S and S+ costs are reduced by fifteen [15] These reductions DO NOT stack and override their previous totals (D+C -5, B+A -10, S beyond -15).

Lockdown: Your focus relies more on sealing than on sensory. You are allowed to have a mirrored amount of your total ninjutsu slots exclusively reserved for sealing. In addition, all sealing techniques are considered overwhelming when in collision with other techniques of the same rank. This benefit only applies to techniques S-ranked and below. Finally, if you are a signatory of a summoning contract you are able to to summon beings at one rank lower than normally required.

This discipline allows the user to be able to sense their enemy’s ninjutsu attacks and their composition, which grants a -1 rank deduction to dodging with the dodge mechanic X-ranked skill so long as it was used within the range of the user’s sensory abilities.

Even Keen: You compromise on excelling at one to be proficient at both. You gain +2 slots per rank exclusively for both sealing and sensory techniques. If you are double class and have a second discipline from this class then you may add the +2 slots to your mirrored amount. Finally, the duration of all sealing techniques and all sensory techniques are increased by two post.

-_-_-_-_-How best to protect yourself!

___General Rules:
• No hitting through or around armor unless a technique does so automatically.
• Cannot escape from armor while it is being broken unless the technique specifically mentions that application. (i.e. You can't use Substitution to avoid being hit if the technique's already broken your armor.)
• Armor doesn't affect attacks that don't hit directly. (i.e. It won't stop you from falling in a pit or being drowned, but it will protect against a rolling boulder or a jet of water.)
• Be aware that certain materials can be manipulated by certain Jutsu.
• Armor functions as passive physical defense at its rank and is treated as simple when interacting with other techniques. This allows armor to be passively increased in its defensive capacity through the fortitude stat. Armor can also be treated as a complex defense through the use of a personal attribute.
• The durability of the armor and shield is only dependent on tanking a hit without any defensive activation. Therefore if you wore medium armor but performed an A-ranked hard physical block to negate the attack, the attack would bounce off of your activation, and your armor would be fine.
• Armor which has endured the critical amount it can handle can either pop off instantly or be taken off in whatever roleplay flavor you desire. The durability of the armor is negated upon it becoming destroyed, regardless if still wearing said armor.
• DR reduced by armor can be replaced through the passive DR granted by learning multiple tai and buki styles.
• Shields do not affect the durability of the armor.

___Armor Types:
• Very Light Armor: Absorbs the damage from E-ranked attacks. All clothing unless specified otherwise is treated as this tier armor. The force of a D-ranked or stronger attack will penetrate through this armor. The armor is considered destroyed if the collision would reasonably break the armor, (sword cutting through one’s armor, a bow arrow, etc).
• Light Armor: Able to absorb the damage from C-ranked attacks. The force of a B-ranked or stronger attack will penetrate through this armor. This armor can be worn under clothing. The armor is considered destroyed if the collision would reasonably break the armor, (sword cutting through one’s armor, a bow arrow, etc).
• Medium Armor: Able to absorb the damage from B-ranked attacks. The force of an A-ranked or stronger attack will penetrate through this armor. This armor cannot be worn under clothing. The user’s speed and reflex stats are both decreased by a supreme amount. The armor is considered destroyed if the collision would reasonably break the armor, (sword cutting through one’s armor, a bow arrow, etc).
• Heavy Armor: Able to absorb the damage from A-ranked attacks. The force of an S-ranked or stronger attack will penetrate through this armor. This armor cannot be worn under clothing. The user’s speed and reflex stats are both decreased by a double supreme amount, and the user’s strength is reduced by a supreme amount. The armor is considered destroyed if the collision would reasonably break the armor, (sword cutting through one’s armor, a bow arrow, etc).
___Shield Types:
• Small Shield: Able to absorb the damage from D-ranked attacks. The force of a C-ranked or stronger attack will penetrate through this shield.
• Medium Shield: Able to absorb the damage from C-ranked attacks. The force of a B-ranked or stronger attack will penetrate through this armor. The user requires a supreme amount of DR in strength in order to wield this shield one handed.
• Large Shield: Able to absorb the damage from B-ranked attacks. The force of an A-ranked or stronger attack will penetrate through this armor. The user requires a double supreme amount of DR in strength in order to wield this shield one handed.

Description: A technique which activates immediately after an enchantment genjutsu which alter's one's emotions is broken out of, either through kai or pain. This genjutsu immediately inflicts the target to have a lasting grief about the emotional turmoil they suffered through. Because of this grief, if they try to manifest an offensive technique which requires an A-ranked chakra or more, then the target will find themselves on the verge of vomiting, and unable to mold the chakra necessary for their technique. The following effect is applied when the target tries to conjure an A-ranked amount of stamina or more. This technique is only applicable in negating offensive techniques, however. The target suffers no consequence from using techniques designed to shield or protect themselves.

Each post one projectile will be fired toward the target. The opponent may use the generic dodge technique to dodge the attack, but it will consistently cost a D-ranked amount to dodge.

Those with unique attributes to survive being underwater may kai out of this technique for one rank lower.

Description: A genjutsu with an interesting consequence. It can only be activated after the user is afflicted with a genjutsu. Once the user has been afflicted, the person who afflicted them suffers the same consequences of the genjutsu that the user endures. Any illusions manifested or emotions swayed the user feels as well as the target. In order to be able to make this genjutsu work, the user must have mastery over the primary sense which is being afflicted by the genjutsu. In addition, while this technique mirrors all of the symptoms of the genjutsu, it also mirrors the curing of the genjutsu as well. This means that, if the target cancels the genjutsu early, or if the user breaks the genjutsu through kai or pain, then both the afflcting genjutsu and this technique are both rendered void. The upkeep and duration of this technique mirrors the cost of the initial technique mirrored.

Once the technique is broken, either with pain or the genjutsu release, this genjutsu activates. This technique makes them forget how to perform the genjutsu release technique. It also prohibits the opponent from using the substitution or body flicker technique. Pain can still be used to break this genjutsu.

The Animal Within: Guide to Tamers


Description:
This is the guide necessary in order to be a proper tamer. Only tamers may have access to pets. A pet by definition of this guild is an animal companion which assist the rpc in combat. The pet may have a distinct personality and may speak or not speak English depending on the will of the tamer. Alternatively, the pet may only speak its animal dialect, but the tamer has full access to understanding it. The strength of a pet is determined by how many Tamer Points, (TA), the pet receives. A breakdown of TA is provided below.

___• Each pet the tamer has requires at least one TA.
___• The max amount of TA a single pet can have is twelve.
___• A single pet can have at most two TA per the body rank of the tamer.
___• For every TA given to a pet, the pet is allotted one free custom unique to the pet. This custom may either be maruton ninjutsu, taijutsu, bukijutsu, or genjutsu based. Pet customs can only scale three ranks like puppet mechanisms. In addition, because pets are unique individuals, each pet custom must be approved on its own individual merit.
___• With one TA a pet has one activation. Once a pet has three TA they may have two activations. Once a pet has six TA they may have three activations.
___• Until a pet has four TA, pets drain chakra and stamina directly from the tamer’s energy reserves. However, once a pet has four TA, the pet automatically has 200 Chakra and Stamin per the body rank of the tamer. If a pet runs out of chakra or stamina then they may syphon more from their tamer.
___• When a pet is granted two TA, the pet is allowed to mirror all of the ninjutsu the tamer knows of one chosen element. After four TA points, the pet is allowed to mirror two elements that the user has. Unless stated by a class perk, PA, or cross discipline, a single pet may not mirror more than two elements.
___• When a pet is granted three TA, their passive DR boost is mirrored to the boost granted by the tamer. After six TA, the pet may mirror any Taijutsu or Bukijutsu styles the tamer knows.
___• After a pet has four TA, a pet may have a unique sense. This sense is based on one of the five body senses, and allows the pet to track a target anywhere through the forum by that sense. However, the tradeoff is that genjutsu which utilize that sense as their primary sense are one rank stronger, and the mental stress applied to them are one tier greater. The physical pain required to break out remains the same. After eight TA the weakness to genjutsu is nullified. Furthermore, after twelve TA the animal has one rank stronger resistance to genjutsu which utilize that sense as their primary sense.
___• After a pet has six TA, they are able to mirror all of the genjutsu the user has of one of their branches of genjutsu. At twelve TA the pet is able to mirror two of the genjutsu branches the users knows.
___• When a pet is granted six TA, the pet is granted a Tamer Attribute. The Tamer Attribute is some akin to a stronger PA granted solely to that animal. Its abilities may mirror that of a summoned creature. At twelve TA a pet may have two Tamer Attributes.

A class which takes its basis from well-known clans, such as the canine training Inuzuka family. To put it blatantly, this class relies on the unification and cooperation of a human and an animal in order to unleash unique and powerful fighting styles. A guide to tamers can be found here.
The animal that cooperates with the shinobi is often one that has had an extremely lengthy amount of time shared with said shinobi. Be it a childhood pet, sickly animal nursed to health, or what have you. The partner animals most often seen are dogs and cats, though the possibility of using a bird or a monkey as a partner is ever present. The only true restriction to which animal can be selected as a partner is their own maneuverability. It's not very likely that a shinobi would use a fish or massive beast because they have very restricted movement.

• Animals often grow to sizes much larger than their naturally occurring species. Small animals such as those like rodents and insects generally hit sizes of large predatory cats. Those of a medium size such as wolves, domestic animals, and some smaller like hares generally grow to sizes comparable to large bears or juvenile elephants. Larger animals such as bears, bovine, and deer can hit slightly larger sizes to those slightly similar to medium animals, if being still a bit larger.

• Pets and tamers have automatic Korabo with one another.

Synchronizing Schemers: You are and your pets are able to harmonize far easier than most tamers. Mirroring an element only takes a single tamer attribute instead of two, and mirroring one branch of the tamer’s taijutsu or bukijutsu only takes four tamer points. Chance Encounter: You are allowed to have a pet with a mythological aspect to them. This branch requires the pet has a minimal of four TA points, (points may be borrowed from later in the class if a single class, as well as bypass that rule of TA per body rank until C-ranked). This pet may have one additional Tamer Attribute. In addition, this pet gains an additional 25 chakra and stamina per the body rank of the user. Finally, this pet may be summoned and dismissed either the summoning jutsu, or by any means of calling a pet, (whistling, shouting at the heavens, etc), as long as the means makes sense within roleplay. The chance encounter also blesses you with one of two options; either every other rank you gain [10] Ninjutsu or Genjutsu or mixed slots for a total of [30] slots (D, B, and S), or, you gain [1] additional Taijutsu or Bukijutsu style every other rank for a total of [3], (D, B, and S).

Perfect Breeding: The potency you raise your pets allows them to shine. Your pet’s chakra only custom techniques gain the overwhelming quality up to S-Rank. Each pet has two free customs outside of their TA limits. Your pets bypass their limits, able to scale an additional rank. In addition, the user gets [2] more tamer points every other rank, (D, B, S).

Tamer – Tamer: If this class is taken as the first and second class, then you are allowed to choose two disciplines from this class. The user gains an additional four tamer points. The user may select one pet to be their signature pet, which allows them to be allotted one more tamer attribute at twelve points. The signature pet may also have two more TA than the two TA per body rank rule. The techniques of pets require 5 less chakra/stamina per rank of the technique.

Tamer – Ninjutsu: Pets are allotted an elemental affinity automatically. This means that with two TA the pet gains access to the user’s second element, and at four TA the pet is given an element of their own. This grants the pet five ninjutsu slots for that element per every other body rank (D, B, S). In addition, the user gains an additional 25 chakra every body rank.

Tamer – Genjutsu: Pets can be used as a visual trigger for genjutsu. In addition, the user is able to spend one activation in order to cast a ranked amount of chakra on their pet. This ranked chakra causes those who see the pet's body to imagine it as a gruesome beast and the opponent is stricken with fear causing Paralysis of tiers varying on the rank of chakra paid.( E-D Stage 1, C-B Stage 2, A-S Stage 3 and S+ Stage 4 )

Tamer – Taijutsu: The user gains an additional taijutsu style at body rank D, B, and S. In addition, the user's pet's flesh/fur/coat gains the defensive properties of medium armor with no drawbacks.

Tamer – Bukijutsu: The user and pet can Korabo bukijutsu techniques together for a single activation with varying cool downs depending on the technique's rank.

The pet also gains access to the following technique.

Rank: X : : Complex
The pet grips their weapon in their mouth if unable to use hands. The pet moves at blinding fast speeds, increasing their speed slightly per rank of the technique. The pet flashes forward five feet per rank of the technique, slicing those along it's path with the blade infused with the pet's desired element.


Tamer – Scholar: Pets gain access to sensory or sealing techniques the user has learned. This can be substituted as either the first or secondary element in terms of TA grants. The pet starts off with an enhanced sense, and upon having four TA the pee gains a second sensory attribute. The nullification and resistance properties of later points apply to both senses.

Tamer – Worker: Allows the user an additional custom item for no custom points. The user begins as apprentice for any profession. This profession does not apply to the user's total crafting branches. Missions done for this branch yield 50% more AC and Ryo.

Tamer – Bloodline: Pets are able to use bloodline ninjutsu of the user if they share the required affinities. Elements required are considered locked until the pet has enough TA to access the elements. Pets share the benefits of any bloodline based PAs the user has. The user gains an additional 25 chakra per body rank.

Tamer – Medical: Pets are able to use medical techniques the user has access to. This can be substituted as either the first or secondary element in terms of TA grants. The user is able to use medical technique on their pet while in combat within fifty feet.

Tamer – Performer: The user's performances are able to kai the user's pet(s) so long as they are able to hear their melody or see their dance. Grants the user's pet an additional sense for genjutsu purposes.

Tamer – Puppeteer: Able to select one puppet which operates on its own like a puppet as either a lifelong partner or a chance encounter. Puppet must be approved in the puppet forum. All mechanisms of the puppet need to be approved.

Squad Combat: Strike From The Shadows


Description:
While some brave souls fight in the world alone, there are many who want companions with them. Sometimes their actions can gather supporters, while other times the person has to pay to have the armada they need. Regardless of the outlet chosen, the fact remains that you have chosen to have a squad.

A squad is a force of ninja who accompany you on your mission. The squads in this case can have anywhere from five to eight ninja. You may give them personalities and goals if desired, or they can be nameless faces who enact your will. Regardless of the path chosen, a squad will remain mostly in the shadows during a fight. They will come out to perform their single action and then disappear without causing any further complications to a fight. This can either be done with them literally appearing and disappearing for the needs of the fight, firing their attack at an angle to intercept, or any other manner of which you need to justify that the squad does not provide more than the benefits described below. This is still your character's journey, and they must be allowed to fight it on their own. However, even though they have to progress their tale, a squad can provide benefits both in combat and outside of it. The following are examples of what squads can provide you on your journey toward fame or infamy.


Universal:

Universal perks are benefits squads give regardless of the one you purchase. The following are the benefits innately given to a squad.

___Flowing Gold: You gain double the Ryo from missions. In addition, fights engaged with your rpc give reward ryo equal half of the ac gained from the fight.
___Enhanced Ego: You are able to have a passive moderate boost increase in any one stat.
___Even Playing Field: You are able to have your squad directly counter an opponent's squad. Doing so sacrifices any specific abilities your squad provide, but in return negates your opponent from the activation of any of their squad specific perks.

Specific:
The following are unique perks you may choose to have your squad provide you. Unless stated otherwise by another mechanic, your squad can at most only provide two benefits.

___United Strike: You can have your squad korabo one of your ninjutsu based attacks. This ninjutsu based attack must be two ranks below your body rank, and cannot go lower than E-ranked. The squad may either korabo the technique to make it one rank stronger, or make the technique gain overwhelming properties. This benefit can only be used once every three post. Bloodline ninjutsu is also allowed for this perk, as are other types of niche forms of ninjutsu, (puppetry, medical, etc).
___Honorable Guard: You have one of your squadmates appear from the shadows to block an attack aimed at you. This defense is small scale and cannot perform any block which would retaliate by attacking the opponent. If the defense is through tai or bukijutsu then the squadmate appears and uses their body or weapon to intercept the strike before slipping away again. If it is through ninjutsu then the barrier or chakra shield must only be in scale to protect against the attack. The rank which this block can occur is two ranks below your body rank. This defense is treated as having overwhelming properties. This can be used once every three post. Tai and buki protections are treated as having passive DR equal in rank to the opponent. Once chosen, you must specify if the squad focuses on tai, buki, or ninjutsu.
___Purification: Your squad mate will materialize solely to cure the user of either one genjutsu, or all of the statuses stacked against them. This squad perk can only be called in once per battle.
___Reckless Rookie: One of your squadmates will launch an attack at the opponent. If the squad mate is tai or bukijutsu then their passive dr is treated as equal to the opponent. These attacks are treated as generic strikes. If ninjutsu based then the attack will be a generic kind of strike, (small fireball, small blades of wind, etc), which cannot have range greater than a basketball in diameter. Strikes used by this perk are two ranks below the user's body rank. This perk can be used once every three post. Once chosen, you must specify if the squad focuses on tai, buki, or ninjutsu. If ninjutsu then you also must specify which two elements the squad may use.
___Right Hand Man: You have one squad mate launch an attack at an opponent. This follows all of the regulations of, "Reckless Rookie", with the difference being that the strikes used by this squad mate are one rank lower than the user's body rank instead of two. Buki and taijutsu ninja are able to have their squad mate's attack gain a slight boost to speed and power per rank of the technique. Ninjutsu squad mates are able to apply hazards to their ninjutsu and increase the size of their techniques to ten feet per rank. Can only call upon this service twice per fight.
___Morale Boost: Your squad inspires you to take a dramatic action, which gives you one free activation. This perk can only be used once per battle.
___Due Diligence: Your squad focuses on sensory support, and provides you with a generic sensory range of five feet per body rank of the user. This sensory allows you to know if there are any chakra based entities in the area. In addition, once per battle you may also use this perk to analyze one opponent. This analysis details their elements, their chakra and stamina pools, body rank, and bloodline.
___Red Cross: Your squad focuses on medical support. They are able to heal yourself or one person of your choice from any life threatening wound once per battle. This cures the target for one S-ranked supply of trauma and replenishes their battle for further combat. Can only use once per battle.
___Followers of the Sage: Your squads have studied well in the art of nature chakra. They are able to house up to one hundred additional reserves of nature chakra. Once per battle the squad can channel their nature chakra to you, and give you the additional boon.
___Something for Necro: Your squad is better suited to assist you in the crafting and job worlds. The squad assist in reducing crafting missions and job missions by two post.
___Die For Me: You require a sacrifice. A squad mate will throw their lives to take the blow for you. This can allow you to dodge out of any and all attacks aimed at you at one given time. Once you use this perk, your squad will immediately stop following you.


Squad Maintenance:

As with most things in life, squads have a cost in order to maintain them. A squad begins their cost at 30k. However, for every tier of job your character has completed, their work allows them to naturally gain more followers, and thus reduces the cost by 5k. In addition, reaching grand master in any crafting branch reduces the cost further by 5k. The minimal cost a squad may cost is 5k.

In addition, a squad must continually be paid for in order to continue their services. For every five fights your rpc gets into, the cost for the battalion must be replenished. If you cannot afford to replenish the squad, then the squad will leave you. This is known as the Squad's Stamina. The only exception to this is if no perks of the squad were used during the fight. In that case the squad does not lose any stamina.

Finally, a kage or rogue equivalent is allowed to have one free squad assigned to their character. This squad bypasses stamina meters. Certain classes and jobs may also provide free squads based on certain criteria.

A resourceful, tactical, and versatile shinobi; the performer excels in putting on a show, which they then use to channel Genjutsu to a unique prospect. Talented, crafty, chic, and well-versed in chakra manipulation, a performer possesses various unique abilities which are often used to bewilder and blindside opponents. The typical build of the performer is slim yet fit, which they use to avoid attacks rather than defend against them.

• When you select this class, you must also pick exactly one of its disciplines. A discipline cannot be replaced or taken away.
• Maximum energy pool increases are cumulative. (They do not replace each other as you rank up; they are all added together.)

The max rank this technique can be used is based on the user’s body rank. This user performs their performance of choice upon a target. The target either feels empowered or weakened. The genjutsu causes a single stat of the user’s choice to either be enhanced or dampened by a slight amount per the rank of this technique. In addition, enemies begin a stamina drain at their body rank for the a single post per body rank of the user. Allies regenerate chakra or stamina at the same rate.


Sinister Schemer: Your ninjutsu may be used as a trigger for their genjutsu should the opponent be able to guard their ears from the user's sound. In addition, you may recruit a squad for 10k less than the initial cost. The cost cannot be reduced further than 5k. Your squad also may increase abilities which have set amount of uses by one.

Performer – Performer: If this class is used as both the first and second class, you may choose two disciplines from this class. Techniques performed through instrument or dance are reduced by 5 per rank of the technique. You also gain a second performance type. Squads cost 10k less, but cannot be reduced beyond 1k.

Performer – Ninjutsu: The user's ninjutsu cast through their instrument are considered overwhelming when interacting with techniques. If this effect is already applied to the user's techniques, the user is able to Kai one rank higher. Genjutsu & Ninjutsu with a sound based component are one rank weaker when used on the user.

Performer – Genjutsu: Can add the sound sense to any genjutsu so long as the [5] sense cap is not exceeded. In addition, Genjutsu that use the sound sense primarily may have an additional sense added to them. Genjutsu performed through instruments cost [5] chakra less per rank of the technique.

Performer – Taijutsu: Taijutsu techniques are preformed in a manner that allows them to be used in a dancing rhythm, allowing them to be used as the performer's dance activation style. The user gains an additional three genjutsu per body rank.

Performer – Bukijutsu: Bukijutsu techniques are preformed in a manner that allows them to be used in a dancing rhythm, allowing them to be used as the performer's dance activation style. The user gains an additional three genjutsu per body rank.

▰ Fuuin Limitations:
Fuuinjutsu may be learned if one has open ninjutsu slots and the desired fuuinjutsu is marked with [Universal] in the details. Those of the Scholar class may learn any fuuinjutsu technique, though normal rank restrictions apply. Additionally, no Fuuinjutsu can be learned without first learning the fundamental two; Fūnyū no Jutsu [ Enclosing Technique ] and Kaifū no Jutsu [ Unsealing Technique ]. Some techniques are labeled as [Restricted], only one such technique may be known at a time.

▰ Fuuin Terms:
Fuuin is a broad term for all sealing techniques. A seal is a symbol whose intricacy is determined by its specific use and purpose. Fūnyū is the act of sealing an item or being within a seal. Kaifū is the act of unsealing an item or being from a seal. Kuchiyose is the act of summoning, and is most often in reference to contracts instead of seals (not always the case as some Fuuin subvert this).
• Fuuin - a reference to any type or section of a Fuuinjutsu; the sigil/symbol, and/or the technique. A very broad and encompassing term.
• Seal/Sigil - Fuuin often need a written/drawn symbol to work, marking the main difference between them and other techniques. These may be called 'sigils,' or 'seals.'
• Funyū - a broad term for the act of 'sealing.' 'To place an object inside a scroll,' for example, is a Funyū technique.
• Kaifū - a broad term for the act of 'unsealing.' 'To remove an object from inside a scroll,' for example, is a Kaifū technique.
• Kuchiyose - a broad term for the act of 'summoning' a living entity or a 'complex' technique that can also seal a living entity. Summoning often requires a contract between the user and summoned being to be signed by both in blood. 'To summon a fellow Shinobi to the user's location via a signed contract,' for example, is a kuchiyose technique.
• Korabo Kuchiyose - a broad term for the act of 'summoning as a group.' 'Three or more people summoned a technique,' for example, is a Korabo Kuchiyose. Please note that only specific Fuuin allow and require this.


▰ Storage Limitations:
Only fuuinjutsu scrolls can be used for portable storage purposes, be they items, chakra, or living material. This is due to the extensive time and effort needed to treat them, making them capable of this feat in the first place. Due to heavy amount of treatments these scrolls go through, scrolls cannot be stored in another scroll. In addition to their abilities and limitations, these scrolls are study tools of the ninja and as such are highly resistant to water damage and catching fire.

• Living entities may only be sealed within a scroll of their own rank or higher. Note however that beings capable of molding chakra need only exert the same rank as the scroll to escape. Living entities may not be sealed in a scroll containing anything besides other entities.

• When sealing materials from a jutsu it occupies space in a scroll equal to the chakra by rank of the jutsu. In the case of not having enough space, the material release technique is weakened but not negated. However sealing jutsu themselves requires being able to wholly contain the jutsu in question and may only be done by scrolls of the same rank or higher. The sealing process will fail if these conditions are not met.

• Items without carry limits may be stored in a scroll without impacting storage limits. (Anything that is not ore, or covered herein)

• Jutsu, Jutsu based materials, and raw elements may not be stored within the same scroll as ore or living entities. The three categories of limited storage materials may not be mixed. Note that raw elements unless ranked, do not occupy space within a scroll.

• One scroll in your possession can be noted as a "Master Scroll" and that scroll is allowed to store the inscriptions for all of your known prepared fuinjutsu. However you may only store the inscriptions of techniques up to the rank of the scroll and may not store anything else within the scroll. In order to utilize techniques which required something to be sealed within a scroll already or seal something within a scroll your Master Scroll will simply link to an appropriate scroll of your choosing to pull from / seal in.

▰ Storage Quantities:
The rank of Fuuin determine how much material can be stored within them. Below is a simplified guide to storage quantities for each scroll. Please note that certain Fuuin can subvert this guide.

D Rank can store;

                        E-Rank Techniques

                        ▰ Enclosing Technique [ Fūnyū no Jutsu ] | Rank E | Universal
                        Using this technique, a wide variety of objects and even living things can be stored within scrolls, to be released when the scroll is opened or under a specific condition. Sealing an item into a scroll, does not require the user to be physically touching the item in question. A general vacuum at the site of the fuuin will attempt to pull matter into itself if left open. They do not take up limit slots on the profile. Fūnyū is an integral part of all the fuuin augments that are gained from other jutsu, meaning that the official description is simply a look ahead. This technique cannot be performed in battle. This technique can be used at up to two ranks of the user's body rank. The use of this technique at any rank only cost an E-ranked amount.

                        ▰ Unsealing Technique [ Kaifū no Jutsu ] | Rank E | Universal
                        This technique is a standard ninja skill which allows a ninja to summon an assortment of items that have been stored using fūinjutsu, Fūnyū no Jutsu, et cetera ( 1 item type per seal usage ). This technique is a standard ninjutsu which allows a shinobi to summon an assortment of items that have been stored in special seals, using fūinjutsu. Scrolls are the most commonly chosen for item storage. When needed, the owner activates the seals releasing their stored items or weapons of choice. Scrolls can also be used as ammunition for other weapons or have other seals inside of them, which expands the number of potential tricks a shinobi can use. Further ranks require further, and separate, training. Weapons are the most commonly sealed objects. The act of unsealing does not cost an activation, and remains only five chakra, regardless of the quantity of items unsealed.

                        ▰ Collaborative Summoning Technique [ Korabo Kuchiyose no Jutsu ] | Rank E | Universal
                        Allows for a sealer and a designated ally to summon one other ally not in topic. The sealer creates an E-ranked seal which is given to the summoner target. The Sealer then forms handseal with the ally in order to bring their summoned ally to their location. The cost of this technique is equal to the rank of the ally summoned, divided by the two castors.

                        ▰ Time Sealing [ Tebanasu Fuuin ] | Rank E
                        A seal in the shape of a small clock face, the hands will depict the timer's countdown/up. Once set upon another Fuuinjutsu, it fades away from view, & only sensory techniques will be able to pick it up if specifically looked for.
                        After the requisite handsigns are performed, the seal will flow from the hands to any Fuuinjutsu being touched. At the time of application the user is able to delay the activation of the touched fuuin or extend it's duration by putting in an E rank of chakra for each post desired up to three [3]. This technique cannot stack can only be applied to one fuuinjutsu at a time. For a practical rundown, this technique's activation and cost is paid with the initial release of the fuuinjutsu it is used in conjunction with. This technique either then extends that fuuin by three post, or has the technique then be fired off three post later, costing no activation upon when it is used.

                        ▰ Tethered Blade [ Tezāburēdo ] | Rank E | Universal
                        The user creates a seal on a seal onto an item of their choice. The user may then call the item back to them as it will re-appear in their dominant hand within a puff of smoke. This technique can be used in battle and cost an activation to make. To use the seal to call back the item does not cost an activation. Cannot be used on anything living, or anything the user cannot physically lift.

                        ▰ Detonation Technique [ Bakuhatsu no Jutsu] | Rank E | Universal | Variable
                        The user forms a handseal which activates an explosive tag. The explosive tag must be labeled on the user's inventory in order to use this technique. The explosion released from the tag causes a force of five feet per rank. This technique may be used up to S+ ranked. The manner of detonation is determined by the user. For example, the user may detonate one tag with a D-ranked explosion, or they may activate two E-ranked explosive tags for the same cost and amount of activations. After a C-ranked amount of chakra is applied to an explosive tag, the explosive force provides tier one burning to anyone within a five feet radius of the explosion. Through B-A the explosion applies a tier two burning to anyone within five feet of the explosion, and tier one burning to anyone within ten feet. From S-S+ for a single explosion causes tier three burning to anyone within five feet, tier two within ten feet, and tier one within twenty feet.

                        D-Rank Techniques

                        ▰ Seal Connection [ Fuuin Tsunagu ] | Rank D | Passive
                        Allows for the korabo, or the dual activation, of two activated seals. The seals may be used as two separate attacks where only one requires an activation, or allows the user to unseal their seal and combine the two attacks together into one korabo strike. Standard korabo rules apply. The rank eligible for this technique is defined by the rank of korabo the user has.

                        ▰ Unsealing Technique: Segmented Iron Dome [ Tetsu Engai no Yuminari ] | Rank D | Variable
                        The user unseals an iron dome with a ten foot diameter. The dome may protect themselves and close allies. The strength and other properties of the dome, as well as the amount of chakra spent, will contribute to this technique’s effectiveness. It can be used up to A Rank.

                        ▰ Unsealing Technique: Shuriken [ Kaifūjutsu: Shuriken ] | Rank D | Variable
                        Using a piece of paper or a scroll with a sealing formula on it, the user unseals a fixed amount of stored shuriken and sends them flying at a target. Twenty shuriken must be expended from the scroll in order to use it at D-ranked. For every additional twenty shuriken fired, the rank of this technique is increased by one. Cannot exceed S-ranked. Regardless of the amount of shuriken fired, this technique only requires a D-ranked cost.

                        ▰ Unsealing Technique: Paper Snowstorm [ Kaifūjutsu: Kamifubuki ] | Rank D
                        The user activates one of their seals which sends forth thousands of paper slices to distract the opponent. This technique applies tier one blindness for four post. Afterward the paper pieces fall to the ground. This technique may use other aesthetics, (flower petals, panties, etc), so long as the objects would not cause any physical damage to the opponent.

                        ▰ Winding Smoke Technique [ Maki Kemuri no Jutsu ] | Rank D
                        The user sacrifices one of their scrolls and places a special seal on top of it. This creates a smokescreen which provides everyone but the user in tier three blindness, as well as applies tier three jamming. Anything within that scroll is considered null for the duration of the battle. This smokescreen last for six post. Smoke may be whatever color the user desires.

                        ▰ Unsealing: Rainwater Gate [ Kaifūjutsu: Usuimon ] | Rank D | Universal
                        The user summons forth from a scroll a single gate filled with a door. This gate can withstand a strike of anything equal rank and below. Gate and door can be constructed with any material the user desires, so long as it's solid and offers no offensive properties.

                        ▰ Seal Release: Instant Movement Technique [ Fuuinjutsu: Shunshin no Jutsu ] | Rank D
                        Upon inscribing or drawing down two Fuuin within a short distance of each other (ie. the same thread), the user may use these to effectively transport their self from one to the other. Counts towards Shunshin limits in battle.

                        ▰ Summoning Technique [ Kuchiyose no Jutsu ] | Rank C | Universal
                        The Summoning Technique is a space–time ninjutsu that allows the summoner to transport animals or people across long distances instantly via blood. Before an animal summoning can be performed, a prospective summoner must first sign a contract with a given species. The contract comes in the form of a scroll, on which the contractor uses their own blood to sign their name and place their fingerprints and once signed it is valid even after the contractor’s death as long as the contract itself remains intact. After this they need only offer an additional donation of blood on the hand they signed the contract with, mold their chakra with hand seals and then plant the hand they signed the contract with at the location they wish to summon the creature. The amount of chakra used during the summoning determines how powerful the summoned creature can be. Each summoned animal has a defined rank, and that rank's cost is used when summoning the creature. It should be noted that anyone can summon a contracted animal as long as they have the blood from someone who has made a contract, the seal of the summoned creature, along with a source of sufficient chakra that the summon will accept. A creature is capable of determining who is attempting to summon it from the chakra used.

                        ▰ Reverse Summoning Technique [ Gyaku Kuchiyose no Jutsu ] | Rank C | Universal
                        The user gifts someone with a scroll equal in rank to the ally. The ally must keep this scroll on their person at all times. Upon performing the summoning jutsu in the same manner as the summoning technique, the user may summon forth the ally which has the scroll. Technique's cost is equal to the body rank of the individual being summoned.

                        ▰ Scroll Communication Technique [ Sukurōru tsūshin no Jutsu ] | Rank C | Universal
                        The user will apply this Fuuin to a matching set of scrolls. The users of these scrolls need only pay chakra to utilize the communication, meaning they do not need to be trained in the Fuuin to use the Fuuin. To send messages via these scrolls requires a cost, but to receive does not. Distance extends beyond subforums.

                        ▰ Nature Summoning [ Shizen no Kuchiyose ] | Rank C
                        By drawing this Fuuin, the users uses chakra to seal an ‘element.’ This can be fire from a fireplace or forge, fire from a character with that element chakra, or fire from a Katon [ Fire ] Ninjutsu. The sealed element cannot be the elemental release of a kekkei genkai. Once sealed, that element becomes a non-depletable source from the user's supplies.The amount of an element which can be sealed is determined by the quality of the scroll. Out of combat the user may use only five chakra to seal the maximum amount of an element into a scroll from a non-combat source. In combat the seal made must be equal to the elemental ninjutsu being sealed.

                        ▰ Summoning: Body Sealing Technique [ Kuchiyose: Bodi Chouin no Jutsu ] | Rank C
                        Seals a living body into a scroll. The target must be unconscious in order for this to be usable. The user must maneuver the body to be on top of the written seal for this technique. While sealed, the body is in a state of suspended animation. While normally good for dealing with rowdy subjects, this can be a med-nin's life saving jutsu, for when they need additional help but cannot move the patient. Requires Medical Class or Scholar Class. If of the Medical class this jutsu is treated as if it were a universal technique.

                        ▰ Twin Rising Dragons [ Soushouryuu ] | Rank C
                        A korabo based technique. With two scrolls already labeled with Fuuin, the user supplies chakra to create a swirling vortex of twin dragons that encompasses the two scrolls. This vortex lifts the scrolls into the air, to which the user must then leap up into as well. The chakra helps suspend the user until the conclusion of the two scrolls’ Fuuin activation. Once activated The user launches the contents of the two scrolls at their opponent. This technique may treat the two scroll's korabo as a B-ranked technique, or treat the attack as C-ranked overwhelming. After the initial attack the user may reveal strings on their fingers to launch the contents of the scrolls at their opponent a second time for no activation. This technique is treated as simple and at C-ranked. Can only be used with scrolls which have physical objects like weapons.

                        ▰ Five Seal Barrier [ Gofuu Kekkai ] | Rank C
                        Cannot be set up in battle. A complex Fuuin is written on a piece of paper and imbued with C Rank chakra. This will allow it to self-adhere to its placed position, though they only activate and perform their intended task when no more, and no less, than five [5] are placed. One [1] of the five [5] must be placed on the intended gate/doorway. The other four may be placed anywhere within the topic. Objects and people within the sealed area are protected from all harm unless either the five seals are dealt with, (each one requiring a C-ranked attack to destroy), or the seal is neutralized.

                        ▰ Finger Engraving Seal [ Shikoku Fuuin ] | Rank C
                        By surrounding one's finger with chakra, they can engrave a non-removable text or picture upon the desired area.

                        ▰ Thirty-Six Layer Self-Repairing Barrier [ Sanjūroku-jū no Saisei Kekkai ] | Rank C
                        Cannot be used in combat. A team of ninja create a thirty-six layer barrier which if damaged, will constantly repair itself. The barrier also prevents those outside of it from sensing anything inside it. The user of this technique can only maintain, and repair, a single layer of the barrier. However, for every individual that lends in their chakra (whom are not required to know the technique to do so), the user of the technique may repair an additional six layers. Up to six [6] individuals may contribute. An E Rank attack will break one barrier. D Rank will break two, C Rank four, B Rank six, A Rank eight, and S Rank for ten. After the initial C-ranked cost, the chakra upkeep is only D-ranked unless broken, at which time the initial cost is reapplied once again.

                        ▰ Secret Technique: Mouth Seal Technique [ Hiden Jutsu: Kuchi no In no Jutsu ] | Rank C
                        This technique when used causes the opponent to become mute until the technique is dispelled. The user will form the specific technique seal and then apparently as part of the ritual required for the technique, ask the target a question. If the opponent answers, the technique is then immediately invoked causing the person to lose the use of their voice. Requires an upkeep of half the original cost to continue after the first post. The victim regains their voice once the technique is released.

                        ▰ Exploding Dragon Strike [ Bakuryuugeki ] | Rank B
                        Requires to be set up outside of combat. The user seals their chakra into the form of an elemental dragon of their choice. The user pays a B-ranked amount of chakra with the seal. Then, when the user needs it, they release the dragon based projectile at the target by unsealing the technique. The unseal of this technique only cost five chakra. Can only seal four dragons at a time.

                        ▰ Chakra Draining Seal [ Chakra Kuuin no Fuuin ] | Rank B
                        The user places a person on a seal that will drain the latter's chakra, so that the user can use it to sustain a fuuinjutsu. The seal envelops the body of the target as 40 chakra is drained per post in order to maintain a seal of the user's choice. This negates the upkeep for the seal by 40 chakra. This seal last for six post. The technique latches onto its opponent by traversing along the ground like a shadow after the necessary handseals are formed.

                        ▰ Summoning: Hiding in a Toad Technique [ Kuchiyose: Gamagakure no Jutsu ] | Rank B
                        Can be used with any summon, despite the name. Out of combat the user plants a seal on the belly of a summon of their choice. This allows them to instantly transport themselves into the stomach of the beast. This can be used as an escape or to sneak into a location through their summon. To activate this seal only takes five chakra once it's made. Once inside, the only way is to unseal in a location out of combat which will only cost five chakra, or to break the seal in combat by paying chakra equal to the rank of the seal. The user then manifest anywhere within eight inches of the summon.

                        ▰ Summoning: Toad Shop Technique [ Kuchiyose: Gamamise no Jutsu ] | Rank B
                        Can be used with any summon despite the name. The user creates a seal upon their summon which turns the summon into a merchant like shop. If the opponent goes inside the shop then the user may use this seal to place the opponent inside the belly of the summon. It is there that they may be transported to another location of the user's choice. If this move is used in a fight, then this technique can be broken out of by paying chakra equal to the seal. This destroys the seal and causes the opponent to manifest eight inches anywhere from the summon.

                        ▰ Expansion [ Kakuchō ] | Rank B | Universal
                        Also known as, 'Lightning Blade Creation' this technique creates a seal on the user's clothing. This effectively turns the clothing of their choice into a B-ranked scroll, which may be used for sealing and scroll related techniques. This seal can only be made outside of combat and cost five chakra to make. Only one seal can be made on the user's clothing, and it must be labeled on the user's profile.

                        ▰ Summoning: Rashōmon [ Kuchiyose: Rashōmon ] | Rank B | Universal
                        By performing the summoning technique, the user manifest fifty feet concrete gates of Rashomon. The two massive doors in the doorway are able to withstand techniques equal rank and below. This technique gains overwhelming when blocking oncoming attacks equal rank and below. In addition, by opening the doors, the gates become a vortex which attempt to swallow everything into their sealed gates. Any opponent sealed must pay an A-ranked amount of chakra to break out. This technique has an upkeep cost of twenty chakra per post they are open.

                        ▰ Tool Manipulation: Heavenly Chain Disaster [ Sougu: Tensasai ] | Rank B | Augment
                        A korabo based technique augmented from the Twin Rising Dragons. With two scrolls already labeled with Fuuin, the user supplies chakra to create a swirling vortex of twin dragons that encompasses the two scrolls.                         Used in conjunction with the sealing technique. Allows the summoner to dictate a location for which their summon to appear. This allows them to use the weight of their summon as a tactical advantage. Cost to dodge is dependent on the rank of the creature summoned.

                        ▰ Element Sealing Method [ Godai Houin no Michi ] | Rank B | Universal | Variable
                        Allows the user to use elemental chakra sealed by nature sealing to make techniques. The techniques may be in free form from a stream of fire to a barrage of boulders. Size manipulation equates to ten feet per rank of the chakra unsealed. Cannot use this technique to make sentient apparitions of elements, or any technique which last more than a single post.

                        ▰ Danzo's Sealing Jutsu | Rank B
                        Upon touching a target, they will be bound by seal markings and be unable to perform handsign movements. A B-ranked chakra release will be able to overcome this.

                        ▰ Seals Sealing [ Fuuin Houin ] | Rank B
                        Require's a B-ranked scroll. The user marks the scroll with a unique seal. This seal may be set up by the user outside of combat for five chakra, or in battle for full cost. The marked seal must be listed on the user's profile if made before combat. The scroll glows brightly whenever it prevents other seals in the vicinity (entire thread) being used. B-ranked and above, and Fuuin already activated, are not negated by this technique. This technique last for five post.

                        ▰ Three Buddhist Treasures Vacuum Creation [ Sanbou Kyuukai ] | Rank B | Puppeteers
                        The user must be of the Puppeteer class and have the access, and skill, to control three puppets simultaneously. Each puppet will have a Fuuin inscribed or painted on them, with the intended debris materials already stored within the seals. This jutsu will allow the activation of all three seals, via their attached chakra strings, which creates a sealing effects equal to the opened gates of Rashomon. Any opponent sealed must pay an A-ranked amount of chakra to break out.

                        ▰ Inverse Four Dark Mist Array [ Shikoku Mujin ] | Rank B
                        The user creates a seal upon the ground which expands fifty feet. Anyone touching the seal with an active curse mark has their curse mark reversed to its dormant state. This technique last for eight post.

                        ▰ Four Violet Flames Battle Formation [ Shishi Enjin ] | Rank B
                        The user and three allies stand in a square or rectangular pattern, surrounding a target area. All four users must have access to this technique but the cost is split evenly among them. Shadow Clones may be substituted for allies. The users form hand signs in unison, creating a large barrier that expands up to forty feet between the users and in height. Additionally, a small cubical barrier is formed around the user, preventing those within from attacking the users. Those within the barrier who make physical contact with the barrier are subject to painful burning sensations from the users chakra. This technique requires an S+ rank amount of chakra or higher to break free of its hold.

                        The user releases an object which manifest directly underneath the opponent. Iron trappings arise around the opponent in an attempt to capture them. As soon as the iron cat has closed, and full descended back into the ground, it will seal itself, and its contents, back into the scroll of its origin. Living entities are kept in stasis until released. Cost an S-ranked amount of chakra to break free from if captured.

                        ▰ Lit Apparition Technique [ Gentoushin no Jutsu ] | Rank A
                        Summons an astral projection of anyone the user has a reverse summoning contract with. This technique cost one rank lower than the body rank of the person summoned. The person in their astral form is not able to interact in the physical world or perform their own techniques. They may, however, perform korabo jutsu with the user, or perform techniques which require multiple people to set up or maintain. This technique may summon all allies the user has granted a reverse summoning scroll to. Cost forty chakra per post to maintain.

                        ▰ Triple Summoning: Rashōmon [ Kuchiyose: Sanjuu Rashōmon ] | Rank A
                        By performing the summoning technique, the user manifest three, fifty feet concrete gates of Rashomon. The bodies each have half of the chakra and stamina of the initial summon. In addition, each additional rank doubles the amount of clones the user can make.

                        ▰ Protective Tag Barrier [ Omamori no Kekkai ] | Rank A
                        Must be set up before combat and labeled on the profile. The user creates a seal which will protect one part of their body. If that part is attacked, then the seal activates, manifesting a sheet of chakra barrier to protect that location. The activation of the barrier will automatically drain the user of an A-ranked amount of chakra, but will not cost an activation. Upon protecting the area the seal will break. Can have two seals on the user's rpc at a time. To create the seal cost five chakra.

                        ▰ Clone Sealing [ Bunshin Houin ] | Rank A
                        A glowing purple seal which is drawn upon the user's skin, encompassing all limbs. After performing several hand signs, a purple seal will spread across the skin of the user and will send out a pulse of chakra. This bubble of chakra will expand outwards to a distance of half a mile, uncaring of any physical objects in its way. It will latch onto any and all clones within its range, transferring the control to the user, while keeping their upkeep cost to their original owner. Duration is until the clones die, but any chakra drain continues from the one stolen from. Can only be used twice per fight.

                        ▰ Chakra Seals [ Chakra Fuuin ] | Rank A
                        Creates a seal within the user's palm. Upon making contact with the opponent, the seal neutralizes any active tailed beast manifestations they have, and be unable to use their demon for the rest of the fight.

                        ▰ Chikamatsu Sealing Technique [ Unnamed ] | Rank A [Puppeteers]
                        A launched seal which, upon making contact with an opponent, forbids them from utilizing their chakra. This technique can be fired from a puppet, which grants puppeteer ninja the unique ability to learn it. Requires an S-ranked amount of chakra to break free from.

                        ▰ Exploding Seal Method Formation [ Fuubaku Houjin ] | Rank A
                        The user will write the same fuuin symbol upon several pieces of paper and place them upon whatever surfaces desired. Once the backs of the papers are fixed, they are considered active. This technique makes four [4] seals which act to all explode when a given signal is established. The set up of this technique cost an A-ranked amount, but the detonation of this technique only cost five.

                        ▰ Evil Sealing Method [ Fuuja Houin ] | Rank A | Universal
                        May only be utilized in combat by ninja of the Scholar class. This technique permanently destroys the curse mark of another. The user marks the ground with elaborate seals which enclose the curse mark, thus sealing it away.

                        ▰ Five Elements Seal [ Gogyou Fuuin ] | Rank A
                        Upon making contact with the opponent, a seal is created which locks the opponent from using any of the five basic elements. Any kekkei genkais locked to those elements are sealed as well.

                        ▰ Five Elements Unseal [ Gogyou Kaiin ] | Rank A | Universal
                        Upon making contact with someone who was sealed by the Five Element Seal, this technique destroys that seal.

                        ▰ Rotation Sealing [ Ikkaiten Fuuin ] | Rank A
                        Creates a seal along the ground which expands one hundred feet. The elemental properties of all elemental ninjutsu within this range are reversed.
