She did it! She managed to preserve the boy's dignity, She even got Koetsu to rebel against the evil mastermind that is his mother! At least that's what she determined in her head she did. A smile filled with virtuous pride grew across her face. That turned to a smile of excitement as their food arrived. "Yes! Lets!" She said, reaching into a small pouch and pulling forth her own personal set of chopsticks. Placing them between her fingers and beginning to eat her food. It was surprise that Koetsu managed to seat so cleanly despite devouring the ramen before him so thoroughly.
Alice on the other hand did not have the same methods as he. She too began eating the ramen, scarfing down bundles of noodles, spilling broth upon the counter and ground below her. If one were to watch you'd think she just made an entire mess. However she continued moving ever so slightly, legs and arms, even her body. With a second look one could tell her slight movements were in order to prevent her armor from getting messy. It was likely she didn't even know she was doing it however. She heard the boy's plea of paying next time and she simply nodded. Head too full of glee to try to expertly manuever her way around that with words.
She would soon finish her ramen, place the bowl on the table. A small tuft of steam would exit her mouth. Her face was flushed with happiness from the beautiful meal she just ate alongside her student. However it would become racked with a comedic look of horror almost as she looked at the mess she made. "Oh! I did it again! I'm sorry I'll clean it up again!" She said, pulling from a small pouch a rag to begin cleaning the broth as it had been the only thing to spill. As for what was on the ground that was there for ever, no use in cleaning the dirt after all. The earth would absorb it well anyways!
The blonde armored woman would look towards Koetsu for a moment. "I have a feeling you're going to like it here." She would say very simply and with a new smile on her face once more.

"Well that was a bust!" Toki sighed loudly as he slung back into his chair. He was positioned in a corner table by himself as he sulked into his ramen about the events which befell the arena. What began as a glorious goal to improve oneself and spread the good word of Zelel ended up becoming a needless squabble between himself and a heterosexual's ego. Maybe if the super muscular man just wore a shirt then he wouldn't have been as upset. He certainly would have been more attractive if he wasn't so angry. But now he felt defeated as he half-assed at his ramen.
The only good news is that the fight wasn't entirely for naught. Already he felt a surge to his powers, and his sensory abilities seemed to improve tremendously. It was for this reason that he decided to experiment with his new found powers by covering one of his eyes and projecting the chakra to various points of the village. His first location was Saegahara academy, where he saw the progression of academy students and overworked teachers who should unionize against the systems which aim to exploit them. Then he poked his eye into the merchant store, which didn't seem to have anything of critical importance. Next was the konoha gates, where a massive cloud of steam was disintegrating the village watchtower....
"Wait, WHAT?!" Toki shouted in horror, undoubtedly attracting attention to himself. He couldn't help himself, as his eye was witnessing this deluge of power and fury. Its scale was way beyond the metrics of anything he had ever seen, and equal parts of him were horrified by it and mesmerized by its power. As he tried to narrow onto it, however, his eye ended up in some strange fog. He felt static flare into his mind as he was forced to break away from his sensory technique. He gave a loud shriek as the pain from the jamming disrupted his mind. His breathing hastened, but eventually it calmed down. And when he did, his panic stricken eyes scanned the room. At this point the amount of stares aimed his direction elevated his pulse once more, as they compelled him to speak.
"We're... we're under attack." Toki said softly. Murmuring echoed through the crowd as Toki's posture tensed up.
"D-did you not hear me? We're under attack!" He shouted. This caused the panic Toki felt within him to finally resonate with the crowd, which caused them all to flee from the ramen stand in mass hysteria. Toki rose from his seat and went to move toward the door when it was too crowded by the fleeing crowd to move through. His mind was racing a mile a minute as he had to escape from this place and inform the Hokage immediately.

As she was cleaning up her mess with one of the people laughing at her, the blonde female's ears would catch wind of something. Someone shouting about being under attack!? Attack!? Where?! Probably the gates of course duh. But wait a minute, why were they under attack?! Could it be that Koetsu's mother had already found out that Koetsu hadn't paid for Alice's food? How did she figure it out so quickly? Was she here to kill Koetsu now? This...this wouldn't do. She had to protect her student!
"Koetsu! If we're under attack I have to go protect the village, you, everyone!" She would practically shout as she would leave money on the counter before leaping out of her seat and running off towards the gates. Of course she did not tell Koetsu to stay, she was a bit too in the moment to think about something as simple as that. It was unfortunate, she could only hope he wouldn't follow her in order for him to stay safe! From his evil mother that had come to kill him!

Protect?! Panicked eyes maneuvered over to the woman who was shouting something genuine to her protรฉgรฉ. Her armor noted her as some sort of ninja, and she seemed ready to throw herself in the heat of danger. As he saw her resolve her courage, Toki readied himself as well. While he was fresh from the academy, he knew he too swore a duty to protect Konoha in order to assure that the horrors which befell his home nation of Uzushiogakure never occurred again. It was for this reason that, instead of rushing to the hokage's office, that Toki took a deep breath and followed behind the armored woman. After all the hokage was supposed to be like, super strong anyhow. She probably knew what was going down, and was going to rush in on her own time. While this was almost certainly not going to end well, it was in the teachings of Zelel to live in the moment. Well, now it was just making sure he didn't die in the moment.

Initially a relatively uneventful day for this young kunoichi as had most since the war, spending the effort to take trip to her favourite ramen eatery which was apparently being rapidly abandoned. Sonyo gave a flat look of conceded confusion at one of the people booking it and stuck an arm out and caught onto their upper arm โHoi hoi, I want to say this is some sort of group done and dash but you lookin awful concerned for just that, whatโs the issue, huh?โ She quizzed the person quickly and leaning in to look the in the face, the person perspiring and definitely acting odd for some sort of thief or the like. The person pointed at two shinobi who were beginning to leave, and quickly at that, expressing that one of them had yelled they were under attack but didnโt get any further as Sonyo shushed him. The idea that they were being attacked seemed unlikely based on the fact neither went in a direction to inform anyone, however Sonyo was a Zelelist so even the idea this was a prank was enticing enough for her to simply check where the other two were heading.

xXx While his teacher went off to hopefully defend the village he stayed back as instructed. He had an air of worry about him, but soon he found himself in a high stakes game of shogi with an older patron of the restaurant. Koetsu stared at the board in intense concentration, trying to figure out his next move. That was until the noise at the wall seemed to get louder and louder. Before he knew it, smoke was billowing from the defenses. A big gulp, his hand would move a playing piece. As if on cue the older gentlemen made his move, ultimately defeating the Hojo boy. "You're pretty good old man!" They'd tell him, trying to put his own worries to the back of his mind.
Alice would run back into the ramen shop she left Koetsu in. Seemingly faster than that of a body flicker as she stopped. Heaving and breathing heavily before falling onto her back and staring up at the sky. "I-I'm back." She said, eyes closing slowly as she drifted into a sleep-like state right there. Tired from the escapades at the gates, chasing after Toki, and now running back to the Ramen Place.
xXx Koetsu's head snapped to the door as his teacher burst in. He was suddenly relieved of his worries, for the moment. Though when she seemed to just pass out, he'd jump from his seat and hit the ground. His arms wrapped around them so they'd land on the Hojo, and be caught in his arms. "Miss Alice?? Are you okay??" He was a bit worried, he looked around. To the old man he'd been playing shogi with, to the cook. Then another lady from the back came out, setting a bowl of cool water beside them, a washcloth next to it too.
xXx Koetsu would lift himself up, pushing alice around so he had their head against his chest and he could dab cold water onto their forehead. "You're exhausted. Ya gotta wake up Teach, I don't know where to take ya? Does anyone know where a hospital is at?" He'd ask out, worry was growing back on his face again. The man who'd taken their order gave him a run down of where it was. He'd give Alice a little longer, gently rubbing their forehead with the damp cloth.
A power nap, yes a power nap that was all she needed. She could sleep later of course, at least that was the subconscious thought that went through her mind as she heard the worried voice of Koetsu through her sleep. It would be about a minute or so. Someone had gone to get a medical shinobi, and as they came Alice's eyes opened and her form jolted up into a sitting position. "I'm okay! I'm okay. No need to worry." She said, smile on her face again. "Sorry doctor ninja, I wasted your time." The medical shinobi just smiled and waved it off as they went away. Alice would then turn to look at Koetsu. "Okay, lets get you to your place now." She said, standing and seeming to be fine for the time being. She of course knew that she'd need some serious sleep later but for now she was fine.
xXx A gasp of utter relief slipped from Koetsu's lips, he was so glad that she was okay. "I'm so relieved, is everything okay??" He was almost in her face, they were still close to each other from him catching Alice. When she got up, he stood by her side. "Sounds good, you sure you're okay? What happened up on the walls?" He had big eyes, his curiosity getting the better of him. He'd follow her though, where ever she led him.
Inohachi and Shikarie made their way to the ramen shop for some comfort food. Shikarie was able to tell something was off about Hachi but wasn't sure what it was. What better way to feel better than get some comfort food to soothe the soul. Arriving onto the scene she would look over at Inohachi and give a soft smile. Her staple emotion is really utter bordom and tired so a soft smile was the most one would get out of her"Well we are here." Leading the way Shikarie would entire the ramen shop, noticing two others there and choosing to ignore them for the time being. Picking a spot Shikarie would take her seat and look at Inohachi."Go ahead and order first."Letting Inohachi order first Shikarie would turn to the order taker."Back at the house, why did you just assume I was there for Chosuke? You wanna tell me what all that was about?" She was quick to the point. Shikarie was never really good at comforting someone. It's not that she didn't care, she just never really know what to say.

The Yamanaka was told to relax and she physically could not. Her mind wouldn't let her. The Hokage didn't call for them and everything was fine. She kept asking that. It was then Inohachi had noticed she was showing symptoms of anxiety so she needed to put a stop to it. She doesn't want Shikarie to know. She doesn't want any of her comrades to know what's going on. Inohachi wasn't sure how much longer she's able to keep up with the false appearances. Inohachi sat down by Shikarie, her hands still clutching to the straps. "I'm not really-" She stopped herself. Shikarie was smart. If she even dares to say she's not hungry, she would know. Swallowed hard with a smile. "I'm not really craving chicken." Inohachi managed to come up on the fly. With that she ordered some pork ramen and some dumplings as well. After Shikarie made her order, she was right to the point. "Well, it's Chosuke's home..." Inohachi explained towards the Nara teammate. "It's also not like you to visit us... so this... was a surprise. Yes. That's it. A surprise!" Inohachi didn't realize how suspicious that was too, "So I was rather confused at first, that's all..."
When inohachi mentioned she wasn't craving chicken Shikarie looked at her with a confused look and raised an eyebrow. Not that you could see being her bangs covered her brows."Then don't order chicken?" She said with a hint of sarcasm. Inohachi then went on to explain why she assumed Shikarie was there for chosuke. She had to give it to her, the explanation made did make a lot of sense. It was more so the words she said that was way to obvious it was an excuse. After Inohachi was done speaking Shikarie just sat there with a look on her face that would read 'I'm not buying it.' Who in the world says "this was a surprise. Yes. That's it. A surprise" and mean it in any other way than a cover up. Shikarie then looked away from Inohachi and took a huge sigh."Yeah, I suppose you're right. It's a bit out of character for me isn't it." Agreeing with the Yamanaka that it really wasn't like the young Nara at all. Her hot tea arrived and Shikarie thanked the waiter before taking it and placing it down gently on the countertop. Placing and elbow on the counter top she rest her head in her hand before glancing back at Inohachi."You know you should really get better at lying or at the least defecting" Not only was Inohachi's works suspicious her body language said it all. She was stiff. Her hands tightly clutching onto her straps. A clear sign for a feeling of comfort. Taking another deep breath she sat back up, lowered her hand, and sipped on her tea."If you don't want to tell me that fine. But if you ask me, bottling everything up just make things worse. Either learn to let things go or deal with it right then and there. That's my motto. You know me though, I usually opt to let things go." Shikarie really wasn't going to push to much for details. She figured if Inohachi wanted to talk about it she would.

Sarcasm was lost on the Yamanaka as she nodded. At least Shikarie believe that she wasn't craving chicken. Or so Inohachi thought. Tea arrived and all Inohachi could do was stare at it. She wasn't hungry nor thirsty for the first time of her life but she had to keep up with the appearance. Her hands grasped the cup which made it seem tiny compared to her hands as she took the sip. Warmth went to her empty stomach as it suddenly let out a roar but thankfully, it was the kind of roar that Inohachi can hear and no one else. She was hungry.. Maybe she can do this. Focus on the food and drink. She started to drink the tea a bit faster. When her friend had brought up the part she needed to get better at lying, she choked on her tea a bit as she frowned softly. All Inohachi could do was stare at the brown water in her tea cup while Shikarie was giving advice. The advice would go in one ear and out the other. Food arrived as she thanked the chef and started to eat. It was helping her feel a bit better but she still felt... empty. In pain. "Thank you." She said softly, her voice low and quiet but Shikarie would catch that it was for her. She wasn't quite ready yet to talk to Shikarie what happened at the mission because she was still reeling from it. 'Focus on the food, focus on the food...' At least her brain was switching over to the food for the time being but she needed to get alone soon and fast.
It seemed Inohachi wasn't ready to talk to the young Nara. With another sigh, Shikarie took a sip of her tea and glance back over at her teammate 'Well at least she's eating.
