tab It seemed like quite the crowd was forming around them, with four girls coming to join himself, Inohachi and Kotori. First to arrive was a blue haired girl, introducing herself as Kujaku. Although she bore a Konoha headband, Chosuke couldn't recall ever having met her before. This wasn't too surprising though, as he wasn't exactly to most observant individual. "Hi there!" he replied in a friendly tone. He would have fully introduced himself but his focus was quickly shifted to the next person to join their little gathering. This one was a rather tall, odd-looking individual, sporting gray skin, sharpened teeth, and ......... horns? Chosuke had never seen anyone who looked like this. 'Woah. That's so cool.' he thought.
tab Unfortunately, while the girl's appearance may have been cool, her attitude was anything but. Hearing her mockery and belittlement of the others, decided to step forward, placing himself between the others and the behemoth. In doing so though, his expression remained the same, dawning to same goofy smile that he normally sported. "Ah c'mon. No need to be so hostile." he said to her. This may have been an exam but that didn't mean they had to be at each other's throats. Shortly after this, another person came to join them, this time a much older woman. Rather than addressing the situation at hand though, she merely asked the tall girl when the exam would be starting.
tab Following this, the first actual familiar face came to join them, Mina. "Hey there! Glad you could make it!" he called out to her, offering a quick wave. He was glad to see that the other two taijutsu users from his training with that dark haired man had decided to participate. It really got him fired up.The last of the four to join them was another older woman, this time a blond. She seemed to take a particular interest in the large girl. 'Guess they know each other.' he thought. As interesting as any of these girls may have been, none of them compared to the next arrival. Unwrapping yet another protein bar, Chosuke as about to take a bite when he felt someone's (or something's) breath against his other hand. Curious, he looked down to see a large furry creature staring up at him. It reminded him of a ferret but it was larger than any he had ever seen, being more akin to a tiger. As quickly as it appeared though, it seemed to respond to some sort of call or signal, turning away to come from wherever it had come from. "Uhhhhhh ....... Did anyone else see that?" he asked to no one in particular, wondering if what he had just seen was even real.
tab Before Chosuke could get any sort of answer though, his attention was stolen by the sound of trumpets, signalling the arrival of The Hokage, Lady Lahill. Once she took to the stage, Chosuke listened intently as she welcomed them all to the exam and explained how things would work. In a flash, Chosuke suddenly found a collar placed around his neck. Apparently, this was how they were splitting the groups up, the color of one's collar indicating who was on whose team. The appearance of these collars was quickly followed by the introduction of the first test, thought little explanation was given about the event. The Hokage offered but a single word of instruction:

tab With this utterance, The Hokage vanished from view and in her place, appeared a pack of wild wolves. At least, that was the best description Chosuke could come up with for them. Their dark, twisting bodies made them seem more like shadows given form. They were definitely unlike any wolves he had ever seen before, if that was even what they were. While this revelation may have made others worry, it only made the smile on Chosuke's face grow. He had been excited by the prospect of a good fight and it seemed like Lady Lahill intended to give him just that. 'Oh yeah! Bring it on!' he cheered internally.
tab Seeing one of the beasts take aim at him, Chosuke's eyes narrowed as he lowered himself into a horse stance, preparing himself for the oncoming assault. Just as the beast was about to make contact with him, Chosuke pivoted on his front font, effectively allowing him to sidestep the charge. This also put him in a prime position to grapple the wolf-like creature and compared to the spar he had just been through, getting his hands on this target was no problem. After gaining a firm grasp of the creature, Chosuke turned his back to it, holding it much like a sack of potatoes. "GAAAAAAAAAH!" With a mighty cry, he heaved the beast over his shoulder and with all his might launched the creature back into the rest of the pack. "Ha! Who's next?!" he called out eagerly, adrenaline pumping through his veins.

tab Hearing a voice call out to him, Chosuke turned to see one of the older women from before, indicating for him to follow her. "R-Right! Coming!" he responded. Admittedly, he was a bit disappointed to not being staying to fight more of the wolves, especially after seeing Kotori charge into them with explosive force. However, according to the Hokage, his only job was to make sure he and his teammates survived this event. He knew he needed to stick with his group and make ensuring their safety his top priority. Thus, after giving the oncoming pack of wolves one last longing look, he turned and headed off to join the others, taking up the rear position of their traveling party.

Using the hand that is not grasping the target's arm, the user tucks it under their target's trapped arm's triceps. With the target glued to the user's back while bent over, the user explodes from their knees, torquing the target over their shoulder and slamming the target's back into the earth. If unblocked, the target's endurance is decreased by [1] point per rank of the technique.

Should the user take additional damage before the end of the second post, the increase stacks, refreshing it's active time. โขBattlefield Presence: The user's powerful presence on the battlefield strikes terror into their foes. Opponents are able to sense the user's terrifying fighting spirit five feet from the user per body rank of the user through chakra sense. Those within range can have this radiating fearful aura become the trigger for genjutsu, allowing genjutsu to be cast by acknowledging the user. In addition, should an opponent be targeted by a melee technique that is greater in rank than the target's body rank that target has tier two paralysis applied to their legs, requiring it to be broken by Kai equal to the user's body rank, costing the target no activation for that specific instance of kai.
All at the same moment, ringing can be heard in all the contestants' ears, the vitality draining field has taken full effect! Only techniques up to B rank can now be used! (stats are unaffected), humming can also still be heard radiating in the air. Just what could it mean?

The first few wolves charged right into Kotori's attack without so much as a second thought, there was dangerous confidence about their motions but was ultimately disregarded as they fell within the earthy confines. Or so one would have hoped. in actuality, the bodies of the fallen wolves erupted in black tentacles that hurriedly interlocked with each other. Together they formed to create one large super beast that stretched three great hands up and outward onto the ledge. What came out of the ground a snarling abomination of the creatures that had once made it up, now an amorphous blob with a vaguely canine head and four arms. Letting loose a terrifying roar, the beast swung with its one remaining arm right for Kotori.

The wolf provided very little fight as it threw its body with reckless abandon against Sumika's magnetic blade. Fortunately, she left when she did, however, as after the creature broke apart in bubbling liquid shadow, three more grew from its remains, ready to attack the first target it could find.
Thankfully, it's target didn't seem to be either Sumika or her teammates, as a second roar sounded in the distance. One that was distinctly different from all the others, even the wolf abomination which had recently formed. Somehow it carried with more fearful emotion, along with a hint of intelligence. looking up to their master, each of the four wolves seemed to almost nod in understanding before they vanished into the ground itself. Along with a few other fresh wolves who had accompanied the Alpha.
In their absence, however, another possible danger took their place? It was hard to say, but following Sumika was the foreboding scent of burning trees. If this was a danger, it was one that did not make itself yet known, only leaving it up to the girl or any of those nearby her if they noticed this warning at all.
[ Shadow Split ] Rank X (Used as A) At the moment the wolf would take damage that would kill them, they may use this ability to instead avoid being completely killed and split their body into more wolves. The amount of wolves that are created from the split depends on the rank it was used at, starting at one for D-rank. This ability must be used at the rank of the ability that would kill them.
[ Alpha's Aura ] Passive All shadows wolves in the same thread as the Alpha gain an extra activation as long as they use it for the Alpha's specific direction.
[ Shadow Teleport ] Rank B The wolf melds with shadow and is allowed to teleport at the same speeds as shushin to any area that is currently covered in shadow. (WHICH IS EVERYWHERE THANKS TO THE ECPLISE OZY)

Now making his way through the forests, Aeleus would find the traveling mostly smooth sailing. No doubt due to the numerous genin still staying back to fight with the bulk of the wolves. From off in the distance, however, there would be an ear-piercing scream to break the silence. A woman's voice called out in distress. "Help! Please someone help! I didn't mean to be here-" But was quickly cut off with a snarl. From the sound alone it seemed as though a citizen from the local village they had passed through to get here, had made the unfortunate mistake of traveling too close to the exam area. But stopping now to look for someone meant that Aeleus would have to forgo traveling to the next stage area, dare he leave her to whatever fate had in store for her?
(If stopping to look for the girl quote me as just looking through the forest for her and I will post the scene. Looking for her also means that you can't claim your next post as progress through the exam)

Back at the starting area, more directions were yelled out by the alpha wolf now. The once chaos slowly shifted into what was closer in part to an organized war. many of the wolves all gathered themselves around the alpha in preparation for something dangerous [1/2] post charge time completed]. At least one, however, leaped in with its brother to attack Rei even as his partner Coello suffered with a wolf of his own.
[ Bloody Charge ] Rank C = B The wolf charges in much a similar manner to Might Claw but with their whole body thrown into the attack. Physical contact even when blocked applies the Nara Clan Shadow Imitation jutsu along with the damage from this ability.

Ripping from right out of the shadows, seven wolves all emerged in perfect unison. From three of their mouths let loose a furious roar at those genin that had managed to escape from their leader. This was an offensive that could not stand, for their alpha decreed it. Occurring at the same time as their roar, six of the shadow wolves stamped a single paw on the ground that created a small shockwave, only it wasn't so small when used in unison. In a force that created a clearly visible vibration in the air, Miyuki, Chosuke, and Kujaku (if she followed) would all suddenly feel a violent nausea overtake them. The last wolf in the formation took up point, more than ready to block any attack coming to interrupt the nausea wave.
[ Shadow Teleport ] Rank B ( Free action from Alpha's command) The wolf melds with shadow and is allowed to teleport at the same speeds as shushin to any area that is currently covered in shadow. (WHICH IS EVERYWHERE THANKS TO THE ECPLISE OZY)
[ Action Surge ] Rank Null Used in place of a korabo, this ability allows any wolf (even singular) to use two actions at the same time. This only affects the flow of events, meaning attacks such as claw that are used this launched this way must be defended and treated as if happening together.
[ Dread Howl ] Rank C = B (Pact Tactics) Malevolent chakra if giving off by the shadow hound, all who can hear or see the beast have their activations reduced by [1] of one post per rank starting at D. This effect may stack until a target only has one activation left. (If any of you get hit you loose 3 activations but still keep at least 1 for 3 posts)
[ Shadow Nausea ] Rank X ( S+ ) A powerful Jutsu of the wolves, but only when used in tandem with each other. Each wolf will stamp down their paw and pay the full cost this ability WILL be. However, each wolf is only able to add a single rank in power to the jutsu stating at D-rank. Meaning to cast this at S+ you need six wolves and each of those six will have to use an S+ ranked amount of chakra. Doing so causes a visible shockwave that travels in all directions equal to the speed of the rank it was used at. Getting hit with the ability causes the target to be overcome with nausea that prevents them from gaining credit for their previous post of progress towards the next stage. (Cannot be increased via Pack Tactics)
[ Pact Tactics ] Passive Abilities used when wolves are in the 50 feet of each other (Or for one post after given an alpha command) are increased by one rank and provide increased effects when done so.
[ Prepared Action ] Rank B To be used by a wolf at any time, this ability allows the wolf to prepare a casting of a jutsu and hold it to be unleashed the moment the predesignated action is taken. Actions performed this way do not consume an activation from the wolf on its following post and the attack retains any buffs it might have lost due to duration constraints. If the trigger action does not occur then the chakra used to cast this and the stored action is lost.
[ Swallow ] Rank A = S (Pact Tactics, Prepared Action) The wolf's body enlarges to the size of a truck and rapidly lurches forward to eat anything in its path. Jutsu that are below the rank of Swallow are eaten and destroyed, while people are instantly transported to the next stage as losers.

tabSurprise stuck a pin an overinflated Coello. Once again his notion of just what these exams would be like was completely turned around on its head with the approach of another of the genin, this one his blushing pink twin with her short-cropped hair that just barely touched what looked like a medical coat. A fact that was solidified by Seika herself during her introduction, or at least what Coello was presumed to have been solidified with her offer to smooth over of any injuries from the coal. Coincidentally, this was also the same moment that she won over Coello, who turned over his hands almost immediately, and from the barest of pleasantries at that! Of course not all that surprising considering just strong the similarities were between Seika and Coello's own mother were. Her tender voice paired with that reassurance to make the pain go away pulled at the strings of Coello's subconscious, directing the already instinctual bunny. "Boy, I'm really glad to have you two! I came here thinking everyone was just going to have it out for each other..."
Rubbing the palms of his hands to test out the feeling of the freshly repaired skin, he held them up to Rei with a smile. "All better thanks to our new friend coming to the rescue! Ahh... and sorry about uhm before and all. I... well..." Throwing around a quick glance around, the bunny leaned in to whisper more personally to Rei. All traces of his earlier hesitance appearing to vanish with his dubbing of them as 'friends'. "It seems kinda silly thinking about it now but I wanted to seem tough. People see my bunny ears-" Coello emphasized his point by pulling his two great floppy adornments down along either side of his face like a bonnet, just in case either of the genin had miraculously missed his obviously animalistic feature. "And they just think that I'm easy pickings or something! So I kinda... well you know, try to do whatever I can to not show weakness. Oh wait, I'm so sorry! It was rude of me not to introduce myself before I started rambling, you can call me Coello! I don't think I actually caught your name-" Gradually the natural excitement of Coello's upbeat bounciness shone through, but was ultimately interrupted as the Hokage's announcement blasted over everyone's voices.
Listening faithfully, Coello stared on with an intense wide-eyed stare. By the time the end of it rolled around, his anxiousness was back in full force. the sounds of the creatures gripped his body in a cold sweat. Then, all at once, an explosion of events all struck him!It was almost like watching it in slow motion. Suddenly there were wolves everywhere, a few of the genin who had fought back only seemed to make their options worse by the second. With everything happening so fast the young bunny hadn't the slightest idea of the wolf that was about to tear into him. His eyes were instead focused forward, on the wolf leaping it's way at Rei. The moment seized Coello, every fiber of his being told him to run in that moment. He wanted to so bad but... what was he thinking? That isn't why he came here. That isn't what strong people do. His body still shacking from fear, Coello lifted his hands in a empty display to the wolf. Or rather, to be more specific, he showed his open sleeves to the wolf. The trembling words dropping from his tongue. "N-nothing up my sleeve...?" And then poof! Like magic the shadow wolf that was attacking Rei had vanished. He turned to Rei. "W-we should leave. That won't last forever-" But once again his words were interrupted, this time by a snarl that turned the Bunny's attention backwards just in time to watch another wolf come at him from behind.

Nothing Up My Sleeve | Rank X (Used at B-rank) Like most of Coello's jutsu, nothing Up My Sleeve is preformed via Coello's performance type (magic act) as opposed to handsigns. First revealing both of his sleeves to be empty, Coello will say the magic words "Nothing Up My Sleeve" to activate the effect. Physical contact with either man or chakra substance after the magic words have been said will cause a single target to "disappear" from existence for one post per rank of this technique. The rank of jutsu must always equal the rank of the jutsu it is erasing or the body rank of person themselves. When augmented with Sleight Of Hand, this ability can now be used at range, under the condition that it is the only activation the user can make in that post.
Sleight Of Hand | Rank X (Used at B-rank) | Keystone Augment The true power of the magician is that nothing is ever what you think it is. This keystone upgrades any of Coello's jutsu to provide an additional effect as listed in its description. This jutsu itself does not consume an additional activation to perform these effects, but a cost must still be paid to do so, and is always equal to its parent jutsu. When used with multiple jutsu this way this cost must be replicated for each. (This keystone is not affected by any chakra reduction effects).

She is wearing standard medical ninja garb with long sleeves hiding her hands, she has a secondary robe over top of it of similar design and color, itโs sleeves also oversized, the combination of both making it hard to notice the weapons weighing on her sleeves. Wearing a backpack gloves and a Katana Ninjato on her waist. (Basically equipment listed in profile.)

Seika smiled again at the cute pink counterpart as well as cute the powerfully blonde and equally cute but in a different way Rei! Helpful he was which she liked. Taking Coellos hands and creating some soothing bandages that wrapped themselves around his fingers, Cooling the burns and only after about a minute fluttering away devoid of chakra, the boys fingers fine and a good bit smoother feeling than before.. โHey, no worries!! If you get hurt at all, come to me.. if weโre competing just do so in between rounds I wonโt really care if anyone complains hey, you as well!โ She said, indicating the last part toward Rei who was with them as well of coarse who the Bunny lad was now introducing himself too, she watched his mannerisms, he was adorable if not a little timid, she blushed to herself whilst he craned in, covering her face with her long sleeve to try and mask this fact as she contemplated asking him To hang out after the exams at some point and the idea it might be misunderstood caused the sudden flush.. although he was cute she didnโt know him yet so bad Seika!
Then sounded fanfare in the form of the village anthem played out. Seika turned her head to see the top figure in the whole village an idol of sorts. Seika was much like many of the other genin in awe, however she tried to resist starring like an idiot and tried to pay attention to how Lahil was speaking, as well as her body language. The details supplied to what they were meant to do were frightfully short and almost basic seeming, leaving a foreboding sensation in the back of her mind. The barrier collapsing and the fact they would be drain was barely a rule... basically no rules had been established which meant a great many things to the girl, mainly teams targeting other teams and the like. The collar appearing and the team separation led another pang of concern... it would push the idea of cooperation between a team, the other aspects she didnโt have the time to consider at that moment however as about then pandemonium broke out.
Just as she was taking in the situation, the wolves and Those whoโd started to fight them, it was then that Yashima would diligently come up to her having identified her as a team mate and making her aware this before she had the opportunity. She nodded her head as his request, her body tensing up as she was ready to move at a moments hesitation, not wanting to be leave a blind spot open for too long. As if in answer to this concern the body basically tapped her in the forehead and linked up to her in a manner of speaking, a flood of sensory information flooding her mind all at once... This was almost disturbing to experience such a massive amount of auditory information, the amounts were to the point of basically allowing her to rely on this for any close range information which resulted in her eyes going wide. โAwesome!!โ was the only word she could use at this point as an immediate problem presented itself.
Rei had taken position to protect her and Coello from to incoming wolves but he wasnโt drawing his sword... this combine with the clear nervous nature of Coello disposition she found herself urged to react. She made a grunt flexing as she activated the Kaiser armor technique, energy suddenly crackling around her body with a fluctuating and white hot appearance... the technique however almost spluttered out as she did so, the drain from the forest hitting her at that point and preventing her from amping up any further.. dammit. This put a damper on her initial idea as instead of pushing past the other two to deliver a mighty Kaiser fist, she instead hopped into the air overtop of the other two, extending her hidden fans out from inside her sleeves and snapping them open with a flourish whilst doing so. Extending her arms in front of her body and turning each fan so that an edge of the protruding blades would facing the two nasty wolves pounding towards Coello and by extension Rei. At the apex of her height she would channel chakra into her pair of weapons and would swing them both at the same time in swift arcs, a cutting blade of chakra emoting from each fan to intercept either of the wolves and hopefully put an end to them(although the one targeting Rei vanished around the time it was about to get struck), at least for a moment. โRun you two Iโll see you at the next stage!! And for your own sakes be decisive!! MOVE!โ She would say to the other two, yelling the move part for emphasis before rushing to join those sheโd been partnered with. It took her a second as she moved to realize that one of her two targets had vanished before impact but she had zero time to think about this.

Arriving at Sumiko And Yashima position, skidding to a stop as the augment chakra flooded about her frame, crackling and hissing. Lifting her left arm and closing the fan in that hand she pointed to the forest behind them with it whilst saying โWe should retreat, these guys have the total advantage on us through numbers alone and the best option for survival right now is retreat, we donโt know their numbers, Iโm not big on the idea of taking part in a battle of attrition!โ These works came out before she lifted the still open fan, covering her face habitually with it making her come off as slightly nonchalant, however her comment had said otherwise. She looked from one to the other, the ultra hearing was making everything feel uncomfortable, the strange humming in the background didnt add to it, most of all was the idea these two would want to stay and fight, that would be a bit of a problem as these wolves had tactics, deep tactics by the looks of things โIโll let you two decide, Iโm a support role so Iโll accept whatever you say....but these things have some serious coordination, we just met...so decide quickly.... or I will.โ She withdrew the extended hand and hid it back within that arms sleeve before reaching toward the base of her backpack to be near the closed demon windmill shuriken as she prepared to draw and throw it at the next thing that came her direction that wasnโt human... or beastfolk.

Kaiser Armor | Rank C-S | Spiritual The Kaiser armor is a staple of the style. In it's base form it is not visible to the naked eye but chakra floods every inch of the user's body. While active, the armor prevents damage equal to it's own rank. In addition, it prevents the user from having their stat decreased below their natural states.This armor lasts for three posts at C rank and an additional post for every rank additionally applied.
Invigorating Kaiser Armor Training | Rank B | Training The user's armor retains it's former effects. Now, the armor emits a crackling, bright, white hot chakra that appears like a thin aura around the user. The chakra causes mild burns on contact. In addition, the user gains a [1] point increase to strength and speed per rank of the armor.
Bolstering Kaiser Armor Training | Rank A | Training This training adds to the previous effects of the Kaiser armor's technique. In addition to that, the target's armor now allows them to regenerate 10 stamina per rank of chakra applied to each technique while the armor is active. The user may not generate more stamina than their reserves may hold.
Combat medic lowers cost of taijutsu/bukijutsu by 5 resource per rank of technique used.

His partners approached him, one said they were surrounded while the other recommended they go into the forest with a very good point as to why. "I am also a support role I would say..." Yashima uttered, pointing in the single direction through thick forest that the wolves were not blocking. "That is where I am referring to ma'am...They're kind of doing both...herding and attacking in general it seems...like Seika says...we should really go..." To which the young boy would begin moving off in the direction he pointed out, their only exit right now. However as he did such he would form a string of hand seals, then begin to meld into the ground below him until he was completely gone. However he did progress in the direction they were....seemingly designated to need to go, and would not stray too far from his allies.

The Emperor stepped out onto the plinth overlooking the Delta, his eyes adjusted to the panel lain out before him which flickered to showcase the varied Genin who coalesced for the competition in the Delta. Crimson spheres shown as he focused and addressed each set in turn, his fingers adjusted the fuuin that composed the individual team make-ups so he could adjust their placement and information on his panel. To his side he glanced at the Hokage, Lahlil, a rather devious woman with whom he had the pleasure of conspiring with through the years now. His breath caught in a sigh as he pushed the panel away. The competition was set to be one of interest and there were a few competitors the Emperor wanted to set his eyes one in particular.
"Lahlil, there are competitors here from unallied nations. Of note, we've a few who have traveled to the Delta from the Land of Rivers, and one who has passed off to the others that they are a Citizen of Tea. They most certainly are not." Masahiro intoned as he looked to his current Hokage, the Bat Sage, cold eyes lit in the darkness caused by the faded lights and the lack of sun.
"I want you to have them tracked, and their accomplices ferreted out. I applaud Rivers for learning of the event, but I do not condone their appearance without official sanction, nor the forefront discussion with other national, or at least, shinobi leaders." The Hatake elucidated, his annoyance clear.
It wasn't that he was aptly against the people of the Land of Rivers, but had had too quickly learned to distrust those who come without any announcement of intention. Especially after their former Tanikage had been so apt to place himself at odds with the machinations of the Fire Empire and the surrounding territories, with the destruction of the controlled chaos that was Gimangakure, and with the destabilization of the syndicates that had formed in their lands. Now theirs had birthed a new level of destruction and madness. And the Former Tanikage had even gone so far as to send the Empire a bribe of 50,000 Ryo in an attempted good faith, or perhaps it was attempted extortion. His ire only grew at the thought of Muzon's arrogance.
A white sleeved arm brushed sweat from the Emperor's brow as he mired in the humidity of the Delta.
This trial would bring some of the best and brightest out of the Leaf, but so too would it bring the darker tendencies and politics out of the background of the nations. While Masahiro wanted to let the children live their lies, and let peace reign between all the lands, he knew, all too well, that there was ever a shred that hung, one of war, of constant consternation. The puppeteer audibly growled as she felt the assistance of her previous technique wear off earlier than expected. Clearly their options were being further limited. "I'm definitely wrecking that b***h's office when I get back." Sumika said through gritted teeth as she slapped an open palm on Seika's shoulder. The younger genin would feel the tingle of electricity, but little else for the moment. The puppeteer was still the fastest out of all of them running normally, even if this medic girl could potentially leapfrog her for a moment. Might as well make that unnecessary. Wouldn't hurt to send a friend to play with Yashima too, just in case. Her thumb glistened red with blood as she swiped it across her palm, then slapped her hands together summoning a gross little rat mid stride. "Stay with the kid, Fester. Hey, girl. You might mysteriously speed up, and in a direction you didn't expect, so maybe be prepared for that." Sumika said as she carefully kept her pace the same as Seika. The rat squeeked and dove under the earth a moment later to follow Yashima. No need to deploy the ace in the hole yet, but that burning smell suggested the time would come soon. She hopped a bit as the reached the edge of the forest, sailing over the underbrush in her path, planting a foot on the nearest tree trunk, and pushing off higher towards the next. Hopefully the medic girl could follow. The last place they wanted to be was on the ground right now.

Miyuki allowed herself a long second to watch Chosuke punch the wolf, pleased with his form and wondering briefly about the extent of his martial arts training. Perhaps they could have a nice discussion after the test was taken care of.
For all the distance she had tried putting between herself and the wolves, she noticed in the darkening of the forest that there were plenty more and they were plenty strong. She doubled back to return to Chosuke and Kujaku with the six wolves appearing vicious and hungry. "That should slow them down; are we going to make a run for it?" She asked as her ink ball flew through the air. She had no idea what their plan was but she was happy to flee with the other contestants. While her having the high ground could offer an advantage, she hated feeling even slightly separated from her team since she was already feeling camaraderie with the strangers.

tabโOh now weโre talkinโ!!โ Thresher yelled out as wolves flooded the immediate area. While she hadnโt really been paying attention to what the Kage woman had been saying, the sharkgirl did recognize one word.: Survive. Thresher knew more than she used to before becoming a ninja, but that wasnโt a whole lot. So, in essence, Thresher only knew how to do one thing, and that was survive. She could smell the bloodlust coming from the forest as she heard the growls, the hungering rumble of deadly animals. Thresher could feel her excitement grow as the very boundaries of the examination fell away like glass. There, in the darkness, she could clearly see the pack of shadow wolves. The Genin took in a deep breath and gripped the handle of the sword on her back, only stopped for a moment by a smell. Thresher sniffed, the familiar scent of an unfamiliar chakra lingering around her. The girl looked down to spy a colored collar appear around her neck. A quick glance around showed her that the other ninja all had one, with only some of them matching. Well thatโs weird, but whatever. She thought.
It was during these few seconds that Thresher actually used her brain that she missed out on joining the fun. The bright ball of energy in the yellow Gi had already flashed off ahead, to take on the various shadow wolves. โOh thatโs not fair!โ She yelled out with a stomp of her foot. โYa gotta save some fer the rest of us, ya know!โ Thresher sniffed and something caught her attention. The wolves that the girl had killed wereโฆ combining? As she watched a massive wolf form over her, Thresher started to beam wider and wider in excitement. โHereโs how ya do it. Small fry!โ Thresher yelled to the girl as she rushed forward with a massive grin on her face.
Thresher leapt into the air, letting out her own sonic scream as the massive wolf let out itโs own roar! This scream would disorient the wolf, making dodging harder, while drowning out its own roar from Thresher. With a yell she gripped her sword with both hands and ripped it from her back! As she fell, Thresher swung down in an attempt to cleave the wolf in half! As she slashed, her massive sword shone with her deep blue chakra, creating an energy blade that followed her metal one!
Sonar Scream [ Sonฤ himei ] | Rank C The user lets out a guttural, high pitched or low pitched whine from their throat that booms forward in a 15 foot cone. Targets hit have their agility reduced by 2, and experience general disorientation making dodge actions require 1.5x the resource cost for two posts if performed on land and four posts if performed underwater.
Second Action:
Downward Crash | Rank X | Simple (Cast as B Rank +4= S+ ) The user swings their weapon downward upon their target with the intent to cleave them in half. For each rank of the technique the user gains a [1] point increase in strength.
Third Action:
Two As One | Rank B | Complex The user imbues their blade with chakra, creating a chakra blade that follows the path of the original blade. When impacting an opponent's defenses, the user is deducted an additional B rank amount of chakra automatically as the chakra blade makes a secondary impact, breaking through defenses that would normally clash with the B Rank technique and defend itself. For the defenses to be broken, the defensive technique must have less chakra than the combination of two B Rank attack's cost.
tabMina had very little time to think about what the Hokage had said before the walls to the exams fell to the ground! On reflex the girl popped open a bottle from the waist and black iron sand flowed freely from the gourd. With a simple sign the iron sand churned into the ground, crushing up the dirt around Mina to create more ison sand until the ground around her was pitch black. Which she soon labeled as a smart move once the wolves appeared and Kotori ran off to do whatever Kotori does best: punch! However, once the big one appeared and reared its head back, Mina crouched down low and slammed her sand with her palms! With an effort of will through her hands the sand lifted from the ground and formed a small yet effective dome around her, hardening in place. The soundwaves of both it and the sharkgirl from before reverberated her to her core, ringing through the black iron. Thankfully, however, Mina felt unaffected by whatever it was meant to do, and immediately went on the offensive after the Arashi ninja!
As Mina ran forward, she crossed her fingers into a sign. With chakra flowing through her, the Genin split into three clones. One clone ran in either direction from Mina to circle around the giant wolf while she ran forward. The last appeared in the air and flew up next to the Arashi Genin. As the main Mina ran forward, it would seem to some that her body was glowing red and steaming, like she was manifesting a more mild version of the Fifth Gate! All of the Minaโs would converge on the wolf and deliver a series of collaboration strikes in mirrored motions! Each hit to the wolf would combust on impact with explosive chakra, filling the darkness with sudden light! Once done, all of the Minas would hop back and the three clones would disappear in a puff of smoke. Without losing her focus, Mina would call out. โIs everyone okay?โ

The shield will stop jutsu one rank above its power and below. The shield has an upkeep cost of chakra equivalent to two ranks below it's casted cost. While this upkeep cost is being paid, damage received by the shield at or below its defensive capabilities cannot break the shield.

Infernal Body [ Jigoku no Karada ] | Rank C | Training The user heats their muscles with their burning hot flame chakra at a constant rate, increasing their muscular performance and granting a one point increase in their strength at C Rank body and another 1 point increase at S Rank for a total of 2 points. Multi-Mirror Image Training | Rank A | Training The user has learned to control their chakra in a fine manner which allows them to create an additional mirror image per rank of the technique it is executed with. These additional images do not increase the strength of the parent technique.
Cicada Shell | Rank B | Training After learning the Shadow Clone Technique from the maruton list, the user may cast the Shadow Clone technique in conjunction with techniques from this style to replace mirror images with the clones. Casting Shadow Clones in this manner does not consume an activation.
Shadow Clone Technique [ Kage Bunshin no Jutsu ] | Rank B (45 Chakra) Creates a solid clone which is able to interact with the environment and perform any technique the user knows. The strength of each clone is dependent on the amount of chakra put into each clone. A clone can have anywhere from [1] chakra to all but [1] chakra of the user's pool. The same goes for stamina. The user must retain at least [1] of each pool or they will lose consciousness. Each clone takes [15] chakra to create, and up to three [3] clones can be made per activation. Shadow clones cannot be told apart by doujutsu. The clone disperses if it receives a solid hit (C-rank or higher), or runs out of chakra or stamina. When a clone is dispersed, any knowledge it gained while active is transferred to the original only, no other clones, and any remaining chakra and stamina is returned to the user. Inohachi heard a timid voice spoke up as she glanced up and saw a blue-haired female was talking to them. She had the Konohagakure headband as she shly smiled a bit. She was too preoccupied to looking at the pictures so her eyes glanced back down at the camera as she worked her way through the pictures. Hearing the name cupcake, Inohachi frowned, her heart skipped a beat as she knew that she was rather plump but she didn't like to be called names! Cupcake wasn't helping. Was her fat spilling over so much?! Her eyes glanced down as she was rather disappointed at her own body. Her brows furrowed together when she had mentioned that they looked a little lost.
Her head turned to look at Chosuke, she was extremely confused. How could they be lost? This was the Chuunin exams, wasn't it? Her hands were holding the camera so tight, that her knuckles were becoming rather pale from it. Inohachi had no idea that she was holding to tight. Then the meanie shark girl went on and insulted that 'this was all the K'noha can offer'. Inohachi could slowly feel her world was spinning. It was getting harder to breathe as the guilt started to rise so fast and so quick that she could barf onto the ground right here and there. Her head lowered, her shoulder slouched and her back was slightly cooked as she was trying to find her breath. 'Focus. Focus..' She told herself as she was trying to focus onto the camera but her eyes were brimmed to the tears, causing the images to be blurry. Her eyes were burning and it hurt so much.
'Don't cry. Don't cry.' She repeated to herself, her throat slowly locking up as she gasped for air, almost sounding like she was losing oxygen rather fast. Retreating slightly she turned around to ignore the shark girl. Then she heard a familiar voice. Mina. She ran up and hugged her as Inohachi gasped, the hugged slapped this girl right back into reality as fear tears escaped from the eyes. Inohachi blinked then laughed uncomfortably as she hugged back and pulled away to wipe her eyes. "Must be the allergies.." Inohachi lied. She wasn't going to let anyone know that she cried. Hearing a crashing noise, her attention was turned towards it and she was going to help but a medic already beat her to it. 'I am so worthless... I can't do anything. Can't even stand up to a bully. Or help someone heal... why am I even here or alive?' Doubt and guilt were starting to eat away her heart rather quickly. More and more people were arriving and the more she was trying to retreat to the shadows.
That was, until the trumpets fanfare echoed into her brain rather loudly, causing the poor Yamanaka to jump from her skin. Stumbling, she put the camera back into her camera bag. Hearing the Hokage speak, she sighed with relief. That didn't last long. Show.. them what she was made of? Nothing. That's what she was made of. Her spirit could be broken easily like a glass plate. Then a collar formed around her neck as Inohachi gasped, her hands naturally went around her neck. While it was not choking her, the idea was there and it felt like she could not breathe. Not again. Survive...

Inohachi couldn't even survive a freaking hour without crying. instinctively, her brain took over, Flight. With that, she used the tree walking and ran up to a tree as she was trying to catch her breath. 'Damn it! Stop being so worthless! Fight! Help them!' With a tremble shake, she glanced towards her teammates. Chosuke! Kotori to the rescue. Oh thank goodness. Things were getting worst fast. tabโHey come on now!โ Kujaku had just started looking for people whoโs collars matched hers when someone yelled at her. A pink blur barreled towards the Genin and yanked her into the woods. The girl from Arashi that was with the sharkgirl was now suddenly leading Kujaku away from the fight by her hand. She was too baffled to let go immediately so she just stared as she tried to collect her thoughts. As she was pulled away Kujaku was able to spot the boy from the group sheโd been in. And he had the same collar as her! โWait, we canโt leave him, either!โ She managed to blurt out and turned to face the group.
Just in time to see the boy easily supplex the wolf into the ground. โHeโs soโฆ strong,โ she gasped. She didnโt hear Miyuki yell, but the boy quickly saw them and ran over. The three of them would run into the woods, but only get so far before more wolves were on their tails! With her own Sage senses, Kujaku could feel the start of an attack coming from them. As the group stopped for a second, the Genin squeezed Miyukiโs hand for a second, to say she was letting go. Kujaku needed to pull her weight too. With a quick seal, the wind around the group started to whip around the three of them. With her chakra focused through the wind, Kujaku was able to wrap it around the oncoming snarl from the wolves. โFuuton: Wind Return!โ The miniature vortex whirled the attack around and spun it back to the source! She waited for the boy in her group before jumping up to the branch next to Miyuki. With a sigh she fell into a sitting position, relief evident on her face. โMy nameโs -huff- Kuja-ku. Nice to -wheeze- meet you Miyuki.โ

tabSomeone new entering the exam area caught Usagiโs attention, interesting enough to make her c**k an eyebrow for just a second. About you showed up. She thought to herself as a blonde girl with the ferrets wandered in. Hasaki. The older woman would wait until the Genin would be done talking before she made a move. Usagi slid gracefully from the tree branch and landed lightly behind the younger girl. โNice to meet you, Matasu Hasaki~!โ She chimed with a bright smile. Usai clasped Hasaki on her shoulders three times, her hands landing firmly on the girl and lingering for a few seconds each time. It was awkward to watch. But it was necessary. With an effort of will into her palms, each time she grasped Hasaki, she was planting a seal on the girl. The first would be Dragonโs Tattoo [ Irezumi no Ryuu ], a technique to allow them to combine jutsu together. A second to place Hunting Dog [ Ryouken ], so Usagi would know where Hasaki would be at all times. And lastly, Flying Thunder God Technique [ Hiraishin no Jutsu ] so she could get to her ally in a snap!
It was then that the exams started, and Usagi couldnโt help but to smirk up. So this was the new Hokage, Lahil. She definitely seems to have her act together. Usagi thought. Unlike meโฆ she additionally groaned mentally. Lahil had a reputation around Tanigakure as an expert in sealing jutsu. Probably even better than Usagi was. But that wasnโt why Usagi was here. She was here to ******** s**t up!
So as soon as the walls disappeared, Usagi made her move too! The woman slammed her hand on the ground and dispersed chakra into the ground. When she removed her hand, a small inscription was revealed, but only for a brief moment as it faded into the dirt. Inside that seal was Infinite Embrace [ Mugen Hลyล ], also Chakra Draining Seal [ Chakra Kuuin no Fuuin ] by using Seal Connection [ Fuuin Tsunagu ]. Usagi beamed and rose to her feet, seemingly unbothered by the power limiter or the wolves. โWell, good luck making it to the next stage~! I hope to see you all there!โ Usagi would talk as if the whole area didnโt erupt into chaos, like she was leaving a party. With a two fingered salute the woman would disappear totally. Where she ended up, however, was wherever Hasaki happened to be.
โThat should slow them down~โ she hummed to her companion before disappearing by herself into the shadows. Usagi would start to rush off to the next examination area, forming more handseals as she did. While she jumped from tree to tree, the wood beneath her feet would rise up and follow her. Within moments the wood collected and formed four Wood Clone Technique [ Moku Bunshin no Jutsu ] at S+ rank with 400 chakra and 400 stamina each. As soon as they were made they would run off into the woods, back to the fight with wolves, to hide in the trees and watch the groups.
Meanwhile, Usagi would form her own hand seal. With a surge of chakra her Multiple Infinite Embrace and her Chakra Drain seal would appear in the ground and extend to the size of the Delta.
Now to find her group.

โฐ Hunting Dog [ Ryouken ] | Rank D After inscribing a personal rune on something, the user can track the affected object over great distances so long as the rune remains. Each activation gives the user a general direction in which to travel, becoming less useful the farther away the rune is. Being in the same thread will point directly toward the rune, ignoring any obstacles such as walls; being in the same subforum points toward the general location; being in an adjacent subforum (such as in the lands surrounding a Village, or the Village Crossroads) gives the user a vague sense of where to go; and beyond that it points you in which cardinal direction to go. While the rune is permanent, the technique can be maintained by dedicating ten [10] chakra of their pool to keeping it active.
โฐ Dragonโs Tattoo [ Irezumi no Ryuu ] | Rank D After the completion of handseals, an ally target gains a tattoo like designed created out of chakra. The tattoo appears black on the skin and can take the design of the userโs choice. As long as this technique is active, the ally and the user are treated as though they have a korabo bond up to the rank the user has trained in. This allows them to collaborate their jutsu even if they have not trained in Korabo together.
โฐ Flying Thunder God Technique [ Hiraishin no Jutsu ] | Rank S+ | Restricted Allows the user to create on contact a seal. This seal can be on anything including a weapon. The user may instantly appear anywhere the seal is. Cost five chakra to make a seal, and eighty chakra to transport oneself to any of the seal's locations. The act of making a seal for Hiraishin does not taken an activation. Requires being a Scholar class specialist. โฐ Infinite Embrace [ Mugen Hลyล ] | Rank S After forming the necessary hand signs the user must trace over the ground a large, but simple, Fuuin design. The seal then expands from its base drawing all along the ground of the thread. The chakra will keep the shape of the seal, but no actual mark will be left. When a target steps within this range the user can activate the trap by a single handsign. The trap begins immediately draining all chakra from those in its range, who are not the user, causing a large amount of pain while doing so. Auto-drains one [1] C-ranked amount of chakra per the targetโs post. Applies tier two trauma per post. Can catch up to four [4] people. May break out of the seal through the spending of an S+ ranked amount of chakra.
โฐ Chakra Draining Seal [ Chakra Kuuin no Fuuin ] | Rank B The user places a person on a seal that will drain the latter's chakra, so that the user can use it to sustain a fuuinjutsu. The seal envelops the body of the target as 40 chakra is drained per post in order to maintain a seal of the user's choice. This negates the upkeep for the seal by 40 chakra. This seal last for six post. The technique latches onto its opponent by traversing along the ground like a shadow after the necessary handseals are formed.
โฐ Seal Connection [ Fuuin Tsunagu ] | Rank D | Passive Allows for the korabo, or the dual activation, of two activated seals. The seals may be used as two separate attacks where only one requires an activation, or allows the user to unseal their seal and combine the two attacks together into one korabo strike. Standard korabo rules apply. The rank eligible for this technique is defined by the rank of korabo the user has.

โฐ Wood Clone Technique [ Moku Bunshin no Jutsu ] | Rank D | Variable (4 with 400 Chakra and 400 Stamina each) The user manipulates their cellular structure to wood, expelling it from their body as they create a clone of themselves. Due to it's composition of solid materials, this technique must be hit by an undefended attack one rank obove it's executed rank. The clone is capable of using techniques of the rank it is created and lower, utilizing the user's chakra to do so. These clones are capable of telepathically communicating with all other wood clones and the user within the topic. Alternatively, this technique can be formed at B rank to allow the clone to travel within the subforum and still communicate with the user. Additionally, these clones can meld into earth, water, and wood, hiding their chakra signature and presence entirely once per post. While within that substance they may travel up to 50 feet before emerging. Finally, the user may touch the clone after creation, changing the clone into another technique of it's own cost or lower for no cost or activation, ending the technique.

At the time she had been treated by Usagi, she would give off the same demeanour and appear to reluctantly accept Usagis shoulder pats of greeting โYes, nice to see someoneโs willing to greet me after my journey.. thank you. She said in a nigh flippant manner as she looked at Usagi as if she had no idea who she was and didnโt really want to....acting!!!

Now after things has begun and she had rooted herself in the tree, sheโd let one of her partners leave without her and was now eyeing the other one. Raising her hand to activate the seal of O-Inari she turned her head to Usagi who had now appeared beside her and spoke. Hasaki tapped her on the shoulder with her fingertips applying a tattoo of a wind clad ferret upon Usagis skin just above the elbow, a work of art that considering its small size would be sad to remove from Usagi at a later point. Quickly showing Usagi the palm of her hand before the shinobi left, the words Iโll link us with a Jutsu shortly swathed into existence on Hasakis flesh before fading away much like Usagi did seconds later. She proceeded to trigger Two Bodies, One Mind to link her, Usagi, Jill and the summons all into a telepathic and spiritual link.(info below)
Now that things were a go she touched a hand to another scroll, dabbing the finger sheโd nipped a moment before summoning the first two freelance ferrets on another scroll and summoning the last. Sheโd taken stock of the situation now, so this was now the time for Hasaki to get moving.... making things more difficult whilst maintaining her own success in reaching the next stage was not undoable alone, but only so long as she was careful. A poof of smoke marking the third and final of her freelance ferret squadron and was now ready to roll. She looked to Jill and signalled for her to lead the way... the Ferret not thrilled about being unglued from her side was about to protest, but then the three summoned ones all gave her looks of reassurance; establishing themselves by trying to look but compared to their larger counterpart. The three of them however succeeded in their task and Hasaki leapt further up the tree she was on, turning away from the hell and following Jills lead. The main issue her mind wandered on was the collar, she wanted to dissect the technique doing this, believing it to most likely be a sealing Jutsu and not one she trusted with her current directive. It was unlikely by this juncture that jack would not have noticed her forced partner surveying the situation before summoning her partners and readying to leave, If she followed the instruction of Aeleus or instead chose to make after and travel the one who ignored the suggested tactics was up to her but Hasaki put little effort into hiding her departure into the forest across the upper branches. Her fingers not gripping her flute were flexing as writing spread across the hand indicating the seal of oinari technique still present and ready to apply an array of banes upon any living thing that might try and impede her path should her furry vanguard get breached... then Usagis seal would spread.

Jill not thrilled about her orders without momma or her brothers around surrendered to the goodwill of the three summons. Sheโd assisted in raising them so refusing would basically be looking down on the so she accepted, leading her master and the other three ferrets on their way. Her task was to keep an eye out for danger.. well nose... but specifically to keep track of Aeleuses location and make sure heโd be at least a hundred meters away at all points, at said distance it would be impossible to spot them unless the lad had sensory.

For two posts per rank of the technique the user's physical contact with any target allows them to apply a fuuinjutsu technique or clan technique on that target as well as creating permanent tattoos to willing targets. Tattoos applied unwillingly must be removed with the flesh, surgically or removed by another clan member and allow fuuinjutsu techniques and clan techniques cast by the user to be applied directly to the target for two posts per rank of the applied technique. This technique must be paid equally in rank to the highest body rank among targets if used for several targets.

Ability:guardian Make the other ferrets and others aware of any impending dangers. For each ferret out of the squadron that are within ten feet of the summoner or other comrades gain a + 1 increase in agility. A person can only benefit from the effects of one squadron giving these increases, however if their are two or more full squadrons then the ferrets will also benefit from these bonuses and increases the range it extends by 5 feet per squadron above 2. As a result whilst this ability is active the ferret in question looses an activation due to the attention it much pay and time relaying information. They are about the size of a Great Dane.

โฐ [ Elickser ] | Rank: C | Cost: (chakra) If they have not successfully defended their charge they will they resort to trying to save or heal their charge by licking the point of the wound and channeling healing chakra into their tongue allowing them to alleviate two tiers of trauma OR one tier of any other status affecting the person in question. Due to this not being a focussed or skilled healing technique it cal only be used to a persons status tier by 2 levels besides trauma. (Meaning if you had tier 3 paralysis, this could be used to effective heal two ranks of that in two activations, however could never fully cure the person. If tier 4 then they could reduce it too tier two. Time or other sources are needed to cure beyond that level, having two of these ferrets doing this will allow up to 3 tiers cured after four uses but can never fully resolve four tiers no matter how much or many ferrets lick you.)

Sly leader sly | rank C | spiritual | With this Jutsu a squad leader may transform him and his allies for no additional cost into smaller versions of themselves more fitting their species at a house ferrets size. This Jutsu blocks them from being noticed by sensory techniques, needing a b-ranked sensor or greater to locate them at an e-ranked upkeep; If paying an additional c rank in chakra them may also do this to an additional fully size person(meaning they become a ferret). If the upkeep is not paid the sensory blocking effect will fade and next turn any non ferrets will return to their normal form and size, ferrets can retain the size indefinitely. A shinobi may pay these costs themselves. At this size buki/taijutsu are off limits.
