The dragon ball ends up at fire mountain inside a giant bird where the bird has been cooked for Goku and Chichi's supposed wedding. Pilaf has Shu disguise as Goku where Pilaf himself sneaks off with the prize, the thing is, will he be able to keep it? Meanwhile Chichi and Goku are on their way to help the Ox King to get out of the red ribbon army net.

Goku, hungry for a snack investigates a nearby forest after surviving a scary ordeal with Pilaf's ship. He finds a group of monkeys whom he befriends and then later after trying to save the monkeys from the Red ribbon army discovers a dragon ball. Unfortunately its not the one he is looking for, but he is at least going to try to keep it away from Pilaf and the army.

After being thawed out, Goku begins his trek to Muscle tower to defeat the army and General White. He beats some peons and is now on his way into the building.

When the fight between Goku and Murasaki begins, Goku seems to have Murasaki beat at every test the ninja put before him, but thanks to a lie about weapon usage, Murasaki used a boomerang blade to render Goku unconscious.

Android 8 turns out to be a good guy and hates violence so he refuses Murasaki's orders. Goku defeats Murasaki and then 8 helps Goku get through the maze on the next floor. However, just as Goku and 8 try to plead with General White to give up, White opens up a trap door sending our heroes back to floor 5 where a mysterious enemy awaits them.

Goku ends up shot by general white, but 8 gives the general one good punch and then the village chief, 8, and Goku who needs food returns to the village safe and sound.

Thanks to the advice from one of the villagers, Goku was able to summon his flying nimbus, which he thought was gone for good. He headed to West City where he first tried asking random strangers where Bulma lived, but had no luck. Then he tried catching a cab, but he had no money. Then after winning a fight, Goku earned some money, but now he had no way to use it.

Two henchmen from the red ribbon army, but without the signature bands tries to steal Goku's hard earned money, but then after Goku beats the one, the other tells Goku to ask a cop where Bulma lives.

A teenaged woman shows Goku where the officer was and Goku gives the woman his money as thanks. He asks the officer and the officer takes Goku to Bulma's.

At the amusement park, Haske tries a few plans to get rid of Goku and to get his dragon balls, but they all fail. Now Goku and Bulma are on their way to search for the remaining 5 balls where one we know is in the possession of general red.
