	★ Day: 30 ★ Theme: Previous theme: Wasabi (Day 29); Kitchen ★ Time spent: 33 mins Comments: @wasabi: 24 mins I found a royalty free image on Pexels and was gonna do a food paint. However, I really liked how my sketch was looking so I decided to keep the lines and do a light watercolor look. I accidentally got that first pic when I set the line layer to 'color burn' mode. I really tried to stretch this to 30 mins but didn't make it. @Kitchen: 9 mins Random pic from Unsplash that I sketched to fill time. I just wanted to sketch that table skirt. Sketch took 6 mins and somehow I spent 3 mins on that barely-there watercolor. XD; Also, the jar and knife set were on an island. The photo angle made the island countertop blend into the countertop behind it. I mashed them together for simplicity but it now begs the question: Why is there a skirt in front of the lower cabinetry? I should've looked at it before starting this but didn't. I just... winged it. This could use more rendering. Maaaaybe I'll look at my old drawing and render this similarly. Maybe. I just previewed my post and it looks like a tiny litterbox. OTL The sweater is also too smol now for this floof. I attempted to draw it much tighter but it looked too painful. @ .@; I was gonna go with a different pose but did this so the sweater idea would be more obvious. I regert. Oh well. I was done at 19 mins, but continued to add to it.. done at 23 mins, found more to add... and was defeated at 26 mins. @Taco: 7 mins Filler. Based on the "taco cat" palindrome. 	★ Day: 37 ★ Theme: Costume ★ Time spent: 41 mins Comments: Costume reminded me that I haven't been using a fun tactic: dress cats in whatever. o wo I'll keep this in mind more I drew this expression and it accidentally looked like my cat. Don't get me wrong, he's a chill and happy cat and rarely makes this expression. However, he'll make this face.. say.. if he loves a box and it gets moved or gets filled by another cat. 	★ Day: 41 ★ Theme: Color Challenge ★ Time spent: 31 mins Comments: @Dragon: 17 mins I didn't have time to think about my moves. It was ~3:30 am, but was my only time pocket to draw. I (kinda) stuck a dragon in a box (tunnel?) and ran with it. I thought I'd fill the full 30 mins with this but.. didn't wanna overcomplicate.. so I had to do another drawing (yet again <.<; ) @Rowlet: 5 mins ...So then I panicked and googled pokemon that are green and brown. Rowlet was perfect. Simple, but perfect! ...but yeah. too simple. I was also exhausted and didn't have time to think about other poses. So the symmetry tool was a double-edged sword @Leafeon mess: 9 mins So... ... Leafeon's color palette (another pokemon) kinda worked in a pinch. By now, I just needed sleep... This pose is wonky but I had a handful of worse iterations. XD I slapped down each color so my intentions were clear... but I don't plan on returning to this. (tho maybe it'll annoy me enough to make a better one.) I uploaded the images to imgur..., finished up some other stuff, then posted from my phone. I hope I can get ahead on projects and stop getting last minute plan changes... and can put more effort into my drawings. I do like how the dragon turned out, as weird as it is. 	★ Day: 44 ★ Theme: SPIRIT CHALLENGE: Jacked Frost (part 2) ★ Time spent: 50 mins Comments: Okay, so... here's what happened. I saw a pose that I really wanted to draw... but the person's face reminded me of that "handsome Squidward" meme. So then I had to add handsome Squidward into the mix... I know it's missing muscle contour.... I initially made a sketch from the bodybuilder ref that included more muscles. It was also more proportionate. I played with the proportions after I finished my sketch... and ignored some muscles to keep it all just.. smoother. I also made up this lighting.
