James walks in and grabs a guy holding 2 cases of beers. "Thank you," i say, taking one and stashing another in my big jean pocket for later. Sees a lone girl sitting on a couch out of the way of the party and walks over. "Can i sit?" says politely.

Jenna walks over to the guy with the cases of beer, and pulls a bottle out.

"Thanks, hun." She said, flashing him a mischevous grin.

She held the bottle against a table, snapped the lid off, and swung it back, drinking half of it.

still waiting fro the lone girl on the couch to reply, james gets extreemly agrivated and watches as a girl in a sexy outfit that slightly resembles a fox downing a fourty. "Impressive," he says, grinning slyly and softly placing hand on her back. "Im james, wanna dance?"

"Hey!" Jenna jumps, and turning she yelled. "Do you always sneak up on people.


She stares at James for a minute before reacting. "Hello, I'm Jenna."

"oh, only on people i think worthy of my attention." he said, reffering to the question. "can i get you another?" james asked, poiting to her empty bottle, and, before waiting for a response, grabbed two more fourtys from the passing tray and held one out to Jenna.

"Thanks." Jenna said, flashing him a grin and taking the bottle. "You know, you're kinda cute."

"So you go to these raves often?"She asked as she opened the bottle, and drank a mouthful.

"Oh, not really," he said sitting on the barstool and facing the dancefloor. "Only when i have a bad day and wanna get completely throwed. You?"

Shawna walked onto the dance floor and flicked her hair. She started to dance along with the music in the middle of the dance floor.

"And by the way," James said, putting down his bottle. "I never got that dance!" He grabs her hand and leads her out to the floor.

"Me neither." Jenna answered, with a sly grin. "Only when I can get away from work to enjoy myself."

Jenna didn't have time to reply, as she was being dragged out to the dancefloor.

well, when in Rome. she smiled to herself, and danced to the beat of the song.

After dansing a few songs, james and jenna return to the bar, laughing. "What a goof!" he said, refering to when he had almost fallen because the danse floor was wet in a certain spot! "Can I get two more?!?!" he yelled over the booming music at the bartender a few feet away? "So do you like your job? Im still trying to get another job. After i graduate im about to jion the marines...so..."

"yeah, i cant believe they didn't even clean that up!" Jenna laughed, and smiled when the bartender brought them their beers.

"yeah, i like my job." Jenna said, answering James' question. "I edit a magazine."

She opened her beer, and drank a mouthful. "Marines huh? that's cool. I've always liked a guy in uniform."

"Editor huh?" he said, sluching in his bar stool. "Thats pretty cool. Well, to tell you the truth, what I plan on doing is letting the marines pay for my college tuition. Then, I figure Ill serve the four years I have to pay anyway, go to college for another four years and get my masters in Criminal Justice. And then, go into either the CIA or the NSA. I havent decided which yet. But I wanna be a combat specialist and go into espionage." he finished finally. "So what magazine do you edit?" he said, trying not to sound too talkative. wink
