Did I mention that good citizenship means respecting others? Because if no one here interacts with anyone else, how can anyone show that they're respecting others, and deserve presents?

These organizations are not there to spread their philosophies, to push their agendas, to convince anyone to take up their politics, though some of them do start from a political or religious perspective (that is, their religions teach them to give and share, and so they do). These organizations exist purely to serve the concrete, physical needs of the world. Go to these websites, or find other organizations that specifically exist to meet the needs of humanity. Learn something. Then do something to help. Thank you.

Back from laundry folding. It was the last of six loads, and in between the folding, I've cleaned my living room, my dining area, my office area, my kitchen, my bedroom, and yes -- I've even prepared tonight's dinner AND tomorrow's meals. I am SO GOOD! cool

Yep, very shiny. They were what I bought with my Chanukah gelt (money given as a gift) a few years ago. Next time I have a little bit to spare, I'm really thinking I'll want to get the matching cordial set and possibly also the menorah, although the menorah doesn't actually conform to Jewish law. The eight Chanukah candles are all supposed to be in a straight line, and the Shamash (servant candle, used to light the others) is supposed to be the only one that's offset a bit. But it's so beautiful, you know?

Anyway, I'm out of this thread now. I'll be out of the other one in half an hour.
