Gambling's been pretty profitable so far. I spent 7k on tokens, made 3.7k in tickets, traded for a pair of .-_.- Glasses and sold that for 15k. razz

I'd go for a ICU VIP Casino Room. razz I wonder if they'll add other games, Paigow, BlackJack, Roulette (personal fave!) and Poker.

Heck... add Mah-jong and that'd be so sweet. xd

Bleh.. You'd have to have patience to do that.. which I don't >.<

Everyone says the prices will go down as soon as the initial fever slows down..

They should add other games, though.
Well, as they say, patience is a virtue. I managed to do it all again today and acquired a pair of >_< Glasses and sold it for the same price. I spent 5k on tokens this time so that puts my two-day raw profit at 30k (18k after expenses).

I've found that gambling is almost as profitable as vending. In the exchange, Sceptres are trading at a nm scarf value, while the Joker Wands people are trying to get with either set of slippers.

A red crown (yes someone has got one -- 3xHalos) wanted 2.5million for it, yet her highest offer was 1 million.

Gambling does pay off it seems.

Why don't you save the tickets up for a few days, and get something bigger? I'm sure there's more profit to be made that way. (am just getting into exchange and vending.. not v good on it yet sweatdrop )

You mean save the tickets to get one those prizes? No way! I highly doubt I'll get another 3 angel wings very soon and to get one of those prizes requies thousands of tickets. Besides, its much better selling tickets now since there's still high demand. Once demand has dropped, then the tickets will be worthless.

Saving up the tickets would normally be a good idea but consider this, there are those who are gambling more than you or I could possibly match.

And gambling is still new, as the supply finally reaches the demand, prices for those items will drop. It's best to get any item and sell it now then risk the chance that prices may drop.

Eventually, the gambling items will be available on the vend for cheap... it's a personal choice of course.

However in my experience, everytime something new comes out, it causes a drop in donation item prices. So what I do is get on board with the new stuff, make a profit and invest in the old stuff. This happened as well with Housing and Fishing. And I learned my lesson with the housing. I wasted 20k on buying a bigger house. What a ripoff!

Lol too true. I think I was lucky getting the 3 wings and I wasted no time capitilizing on it. I think I'll slowly accumulate tickets now. The 2200 tickets has boosted my gold total higher than it ever has been before.

For those who are working on accumulating tickets, it might be a good idea to watch the marketplace. I've been picking up nice 3k bundles of tickets for about 3k.

All you Gaian Gamblers out there know that 3k Tokens won't likely win you 3k tickets, so keep an eye out for those kinds of deals. Personally, 3g/ticket is a very good price as the average rate is 4g-5g/ticket.

However, a word of warning, prices will drop as time goes on.

Happy vending and happy gambling!

That doesn't beat the deal I made. It took me less than 500 tokens to earn myself 2200 tickets, which I then sold at 15400 gold. The price would have undoubtedly dropped by now but in the meantime I've made a huge profit.

Well, I've only gotten good recently, through hunting for donation items and now the casino.

Like Minielf implied, it takes time. I started out specializing on Hockey and Mummy Masks, only later did I move into Vials (which contrary to popular belief, can be very lucrative in high volume). There are few items you can routinely buy off the vend for 1-10g and resell quickly at 299g 3nodding .
