Gaia sould give out birthday presents, and every year that you are on Gaia buying MC, or just active in the site they give you 1,000g. Then ever year after that you are active it moves up a grand. Yea, it dosn't seem like alot but, after awhile it can add up.

- Trashy users (cybering, scamming, botting, people who make stupid posts in all text about crude things)
- Lousy administration
- Better than thou Avatar Arena people (both participants and voters alike)
- People who lurk on the feedback board just to slam down critics with their rabid 'GAIA IS FINE'/'if you don't like it don't buy/play it' posts. Seriously, bad and angry feedback is just as necessary as 'zomg we <3 u Gaia!' posts.

[Ange de la Morte] Chemical Cocktail [Ange de la Morte] I like a lot of things about Gaia, namely the Casinos, the items, guilds.
I despise inflation with a passion though. Such is the result of stupid people. I think you should be able to buy older collectibles if maybe you pay like 15 real dollars instead of 2.50 for one of that month. Which would help such bad inflation without over doing it
I know inflation is natural, and if the inflation were reasonable I wouldn't mind it so much. But it's gotten way out of hand.

Things I love about Gaia:
-The fact you can dress your avatar in so many outfits.
-The forums & guilds.
-You can interact with other people who share the same interests.
Things I hate about Gaia:
-The so many hackers and scammers.
-Constant layout changing.

well i hate and luv the spammers and hackers because if there were no spammers and hackers every1 would have a crazy avi and they would have no need to buy mc items or other items and gaia would get boring and every1 would leave i for one salute the hackers

Warning: Rant ahead.
Honestly, I liked it when things were simple. Go-gaia was so good. Sure we had some server issues but so what? We got over it. Gaia used to be about the forums and the roleplay, and sure we obsessed a little about our avatars but it wasn't nearly as big of a deal. It took longer get get gold and there weren't nearly as many rich gaians willing to give up so much gold to help out the newbies. I don't recall anyone having "dream avatars" the day they joined, and quests were only for the bigger items, now people call saving up money for a 7k item a big quest. We started with peasant clothing and that was it, and gold was granted much slower too.
That all being said.. I like the idea of homes but it's not really necessary.. I have had fun with towns though. I like the customizable profiles but this isn't MySpace. The games are alright, and by that I mean all I ever play is Cards now. I LOVE the tattoo idea because it's actually something for the avatar which is originally what made Gaia so different from other forums. Cars just annoys me.. haha and I'm still very much awaiting the Battle System.
What really bothers me the most though is people being on the site for like no time at all and whining that they don't have any gold and they NEED this and they NEED that. Nobody NEEDS anything on gaia. It's pixel, RELAX. Other people have cool stuff because they worked for it.. or at least that's how it used to be. And as always I hate rude/ignorant people.. but that's everywhere.
The best part of gaia to me will always be the avatars and the users actually here to talk, rp and just have fun. Guilds help to filter out the unwanted jerks on the site that like giving everyone else a hard time. wink
