I've seen the avatar's this whole time.
Maybe they where changing something with the forums and mistakingly killed the avatars.

Maybe it's the new Gaian event. The event of the red X's. Count them all! lolXd. At the rate Gaia is moving with new systems, they are going to overload and crash. We're all gonna loose inventories and gold. I remember I think last year some people lost gold and some gained it over nigt. It was strange. And it happened during a system update. mrgreen
I know they wanna make the site awsome and keep us all interested with updates... but I think they are modifying the system too much at once. Concentrate more on the plot updates... that's whats keeping me on. After the battle system... they should take a sever break from updates and just focus on all the plots. Before long, this is gonna be like neopets. We're gonna need to buy food, eat and keep our avatars healthy. Just another place to throw gold. stressed
