Amaranth didn't glance down to Durrahn but she spoke to her in a quiet tone, "If things get bad, prepare to run," She said.

The man smiled as if that was what he wanted Kir to do. "Awaken," he said, quietly and Lily's eyes flew open and she looked blankly at Kir. "Good little puppet," he said with a smirk. "Now tell him to stop attacking everyone."
"Kir, don't attack anyone else," she said, her voice bland as if her soul was asleep.

Kir's barrier remained and he stopped attacking the guards that have gathered behind him.
He brought Lily within his barrier and placed a hand on her stomach. He channeled life into the crystallis to remove any toxins that was in her body.
He turned to leave.

Durrahn nodded, still clinging on to Amaranth for dear life. She didn't know what would happen if she completely left a surface. She didn't want to know.

Drake looked at the scientist. "I hope you know what you're doing." He whispered to him. He had Lily and, by association, Kir. But there were still two more topics. And if her remembered, the pathetic Shadow girl, could easily became a terrible shadow beast.

"Don't leave, Kir," Lily ordered him, with a blank look. "Your masters want you back. We can't leave." She would have been warm to the touch, like she had a severe fever and she wasn't responding to anything. The man was just smiling as he watched what was happening.

"..." Kir stopped for a moment. He resumed the healing process.
"This can't be good. We need to get them both out of here. We should deal with Lily first, since she's the one controlling him," Amaranth said. She walked over to Lily and squeezed her shoulder slightly, hoping to snap her out of it, "Lily. You're going to have to come back to us now okay?" She said.

Durrahn nodded and looked ove to Lily. "Lily, wake up.!" She shouted.

"Lower dah barrier and I'll handle those two." Drake told the scientist.

"I'm afraid that's not going to work, angel," the man said. "Your friend isn't going to come back to you unless I let her and I don't think I want to." Then he looked at Lily. "Move your friends away,"
"Kir, put them outside this barrier," Lily said. Her fever started to drop a little bit but didn't go away completely.

"..." Kir used magic to pry his friends away from them and let them out of his barrier. He landed them gently on the floor behind them.
"Dammit..." Amaranth grit her teeth. She figured she probably should have tried to incapacitate the two of them and make a run for it. It's too late now.
A sword appeared in her hands. Kir was blocking the way into the room, and he wasn't about to let anyone in, "Kir! Stop this! Please!" She cried and brought her sword down on the barrier. It bounced off.

Lily glanced at them. "Kir, let the guards in," she said. The blad man just stood off to the side and continued to watch the scene before him. He was mostly trying to stay unnoticed.

Kir complied and allowed the guards entry.
"Damn you!" Amaranth yelled and lunged at the barrier again, in a fit of rage. Her magic and her weapon continued to bounce off of the barrier, "Lily! Don't do this! Listen to me! This isn't what you want!" She pleaded. At the moment she even forgot that it wasn't really Lily who's giving the orders.

Durrahn was grateful to be on the ground again, but knew it wasn't a good thing. She glared at the scientist and Drake.

Drake took a breath and let out a wave sonic energy. It was focused and aimed straight at Amaranth and Durrahn

Lily didn't respond at all to Amaranth. The guards surrounded the two outside the barrier and prepared to take them into custody. "Give up now and you two won't be hurt," the man said to Amaranth and Durrahn. "However, who knows what could happen if you didn't."
Lily twitched when she heard this. "Don't..." she began but then couldn't say anything more.

Kir did something unbelievable given his current state.
He stood in front of Lily and, with his palm, smacked Lily in the forehead in a frontal thrust.
"...?" He looked at her with a light of confusion and waited for either a command or a reprimand.
Amaranth noticed the guards around her. Another sword appeared, "Death is so much better than living hell. My answer is obvious," She snapped.

Lily looked surprised by Kir's action and then she looked around and saw what was happening. "Kir, protect..." she started but then her eyes widened.
"NO!" the man said very strongly. "Ignore them, they don't matter."
Lily slowly shook her head, like she was trying to clear it. She was trying to think clearly but it felt like she was falling asleep again.
