"Crim, tend to the cubs," Cresh said. Under normal circumstances, Crim would've protested, but now wasn't the time. She walked over and placed an arm around each one, trying to reassure them, but to be honest, the thing that NG had now become was terrifying her as well.

Cresh, on the other hand, was trying to help Sheol. Sphyxie was making her best run for the crystals.

"We've got to get her out, if nothing else," Cresh said.  

[Sheol Zone]

"Can't leave the others." Sheol whispered to Cresh, holding Sphyxie to the best of her abilities.

The cubs clung to Crim, hiding their faces and making soft whimpering sounds. NG had scared them in the lab, and she definitely scared them now.  

[Alektorphobia]

She struggled wildly, growling low. She looked desperately at the crystals, the whisperings from the cavern seemed to beat down on her worse than any of the others and she wanted those crystals. "LET ME GO" she shrieked and tried to claw at Sheol and Cresh.  

[Hokucho]

Hokucho backed into the cave, taking an unknown path wanting to get away, he never seemed to help wherever he went. Shinju still at the enterance helping asnessecary completely ignoring Hoku right now. He leaned again a wall in the darkness crying a bit.  

[Rigu Ryu]

Crim gently stroked the cubs' hair, murmuring softly to them.
"Shh.. shh.. it's okay," Crim said, trying to reassure them. Truth was, though... she wasn't sure how this would end. She watched Cresh and Sheol struggling with Sphyxie.

Cresh was trying to hold his best to hold her. She kept thrashing, trying to make her way to the crystals.

Maybe I should just whack her in the head and knock her out...
He quickly squashed the idea. There'd been enough injuries already, and he wasn't sure it would do any good, anyway.  

[Sheol Zone]

She yelped about the claws, then quickly grabbed for Sphyxie's hands, pressing the feline onto her stomach. "Hold her arms behind her back, Cresh. Those claws hurt!" A small line of red seeped into the white fur on her cheek, discoloring it.

The cubs whimpered and whined, quite seriously considering abandoning their post with Crim to run for it. But their mother had said stay put. Annie bit his lower lip, staring in worry at NG. "Crim, what's going on?" The whispers were soft to them, all but a buzz in the background.

Sirus felt something go down his throat. After a few moments his vision started to return as he looked into Mephi's upset face. He cringed as he felt the posion leaving his body. He then realized that Mephi was holding him. He smiled at him and reached out to touch his face.

"Mephi, is your arm alright? Was Sheol able to stop the burning?" he felt slightly dazed as he started to regan himself.  

[Rigu Ryu]

"I don't know, Annie..." Crim said. The cubs were terrified, Crim could tell that by their scent. Their distinctive orange smells slowly turned to the brilliant yellow of panic. "Sheol," Crim called. "Let me take them out of here. This isn't something they need to deal with."

Cresh wrestled Sphyxie's arms behind her back, holdin them there. One of the feline's legs kicked backward, narrowly missing his groin, but hit his thigh instead.

"Can you try to restrain her feet, Sheol? She nearly kicked me a good one," Cresh said. Gonna have to watch that, he thought to himself.  

[UglyCoyoteNG]

NG didnt move, but simply glared, snaraling angrily. NG's "Weak spot" had ben grabbed--the scruff of her neck. Where a small computer port rests. This had not only made her go limp, it angered her, and changed her to what they where seeing befor them. She seemed to be furiouse, and now, that 'weak spot' would no longer work, for it was, quite simply gone, there was no scruff anymore.  

[Meph!stopheles]

Mephi nuzzled into Sirus hand gently, his eyes closing. Yes, nothing that won't heal with time. But losing Sirus would've been a wound that never would've healed. NG listens to you Sirus... I know you're still recovering, but we have to do something before she hurts someone else. Is there anything you can do? So many emotions were still pumping through him, it was hard to keep himself in what little control he had right now.  

[Hokucho]

Hokucho stayed in the darkness of the cave tunnel, thinkingif there was anything he could do. He couldn't think of anything, he couldnt even understand what the hubub about the crystals were, these "Voices" or "whispers" he could not hear.  

[Sheol Zone]

She 'oomphed' as she got a hindpaw to the gut while trying to look over her shoulder at Crim, eyes crossed for a second. And then she shook her head, clearing it. "Go ahead, get them out of here if you can!" Sheol called out to the other female, her paws scrabbling to grasp Sphyxie's legs and pin them to the ground. Finally, she just sat on those kicking legs and sighed in relief. "There."

Annie and Lex had moved behind Crim by now, peeking out around in terror at NG. She was more dangerous now than ever, and Annie let out a soft choked sob.  

[Zarifa Atalantis]

Zari strolled through the tall grass. Her golden fur almost blending in with it, but her stripes easilly stood out. She saw a group of others nearby, but didn't want to bother them without prior permision. That and she was shy beyond all reason.

Finding a large, flat rock, she morphed to a full tiger form and lounged upon it, sunning herself it would seem as her tail swept over her every once and awhile to create a breeze.  

[Rigu Ryu]

"C'mon, guys... Cresh and your mother can handle this. Let's get out of here," Crim said. She ushered them out, trying to put as much space between the cubs and the crystals as possible.

"Okay, so we've got her pinned. Now what do we do?" Though he was new to the pack, he still turned to Mephi as he asked this. There was an aura of leadership about him, something that made you want to turn to him for advice. "If we could get NG out of here, we might be okay."

NG wasn't settleing down, and began to sway her head back and forth, soon, she was paceing. aparently she'd founnd she was able to move. No one was safe now... If she so decided, she could attack one, bring it back, and eat it. She was hungry...as she always was.And that hunger drove her to make that toxic drool, and eye the squirming glow worm first. The movement, really. For it caught her eye.
