Lovely, the class seemed to be focused ag- okay, there was a boil running around like a pup, but otherwise order seemed to return! She clapped her hands once in delight.
"While we're collecting the forms and taking a moment to rest, I will take questions, if anyone had any?"

Maddy had carefully pulled out a thick fresh notebook and pen-strictor and begun taking down notes during class. He even scribbled a few doodles of the slides in the margins for size comparison later. Besides, he had the ominous feeling that the two beside him would especially need them. And if he didn't take up the mantle, who would?? ...
It was fascinating how many different sizes there were. And it wasn't like his family was without it's genetic anomalies. Perhaps he would grow into a more FEAR-ful appearance. Perhaps it was best to simply utilize what talent he had. He wasn't exactly certain how he felt on the subject. And by the end of the lecture, his thoughts had wandered to stare at Molan - Makoto's husky rumble of slumber still echoing through one ear.
The Isukun seemed to have taken quite a liking to his cap. Just maybe, he would let him keep it. It wasn't like he didn't have a spare. Or couldn't design another if he really wished.
His gaze flicked around the room, taking in the raucous chatter with cold silver eyes.

A hand raised from behind the desk but its owner didn't appear, talking from behind his shield. "S..some of those teachers were very b..big. Is s..size an indicator of like..fear strength and s**t. What's like.. the biggest a school student can be? "

Once Professor Selene called for everyone's attention Fiona snapped to attention and pulled out a few sheets of clean paper to take notes on. As each new slide was presented Fiona carefully documented all the information she could, she even attempted a size chart for each of the creatures. They weren't very good buuut she tried her best. Fiona looked around once she was done and was quite surprised when she noticed she had managed not to break anything while paying attention to the lecture. She beamed quietly and sat up a little straighter.

Shehk creeped up on Demi and threw herself on his back, trying to chew on his ear again, her tail wagging wildly. Puppy playtimes were fun stuff!

Molan wasn't asleep exactly, more like... avoiding the conflict. One might not have noticed, but under the cap his eyes were open, staring ahead at the slides flashing by. They'd been asked not to inquire as to specific things until the end, so he remained silent, still, and generally looking like he'd passed out. He'd write it all down later, but... in truth. He'd learned only a few really useful things. That size was a great way to induce fear, teeth and claws helped, and fluffy didn't do well to do much.
Right. His form was somewhat doomed.
Though elements had been mentioned, not his specifically. Well they just needed a proper ice example then. Still, he was aware of his own races claim to fame of sorts, so he knew that going with ones element and scaring things with it was their best bet. And maybe he'd get a bit bigger with time. As it was, he seemed as if he was more likely to be mistaken for an odd minipet than a fearsome demon to be feared. At least they didn't have horned foxes in the human world, humans might realize something was wrong. Maybe.
He shifted slightly to sit up as the teacher called for things to be turned in, passing his paper along as he was told before glancing to Maddy with narrowed eyes. He wasn't angry, more a thin line at the fact that... people were getting up. This just screamed of trouble. If looks could convey words most likely the Cait Sith got that he sensed more trouble on the horizon. The slides had almost gone too well after all. If you could call it that. Really, the teacher had a tentative hold on the students as best, and it was threatening to be lost any second. So another sigh as he shifted ever so slowly to stretch, something that the other demon wouldn't be able to do, and then a look.
...Makoto was still out? This was... just a bit surprising. Actually. Save for the fact it seemed it was time for them to get up.
And no, he hadn't made any move to take off the hat or return it. It added some of the weight he'd lost by taking off his bells. And the ability to not see some of the students sometimes if he made proper use of the brim.

He decided not to comment on her attempt to be frightening.

Tybal never looked more chipper than when before he found a paper to his face. you are welcome tybalt, so glad to be of service and to be a canine in arms with you. for now until forever. ouoThe rummaging of papers and shuffling of students was creating some buzz, letting the now unhyper hound find his way back to his seat and resting his head on the black dogs shoulder. nope. he was going to worm his way into your personal bubbles. What dogs did best other than love unconditionally and dig. "So tell me more about your invisible form, how big is it?" these were questions that had been burning him up, the need to be top dog and compare. Frost was out of the running since day one, the silly little Omega. But tybalt was the leader of the club. that made him alpha and in turn, left damien with nothing but curiosity. But the floor was open for discussion now and Selene had all the attention. "How would we go about this modification of our natural forms?" was what he decided upon asking about, swatting at the Pricolici that demanded more playtime, flicking his ear at the ghoul and nudging his chin in the direction of the black ghost dog in front of him.

So suspicious. Akubi just avoided to tell him what he was, fine, everyone got secrets. He has his, Akubi has his secrets. Who will ever think the nice boil sitting here was used to be a lonely gangster, soaking himself in blood. So he gave a understanding smile to the cat-boil. " If you don't like to talk, it's fine. My natural form is awesome too, maybe more awesome than yours" He giggled. He turned at the back and collected the forms, handing them to Professor Selene. " Enjoy all the drawings, Professor." Finally question time, he had to think of a good one to ask. There were notes on his notebooks, neat and clear, for the first time. As a designer, he believed graphics always outstand texts, so he sketches a few things down also. xoxomenai Maddy's design is so cool, let's RP sometimes <3

"Oh, what a delightful question, thank you for that!" She was so happy to see that the boil was feeling better, well enough to be interested in the subject. "And the answer is rather interesting. You see, size is not necessarily an indicator of Fear strength. The smallest of natural forms could pack a wallop if you're not careful - but it IS an indication of how hard that particular being worked to get there! No matter how big your size is when you are born, you can always increase your size with time, training, and effort. So it is often a sign of experience!" Selene reached up and rubbed her nose softly. "Ahh, but students are hard to pinpoint, because you see, a student behemoth might still be immensely large compared to a student of the same Fear capability, who is, let's say, an imp. There's no limit to sizes of natural forms, they come in all shapes and sizes. It's always better to ask before assuming, mmm? Good question! Anyone else?" Malcolm piped up, and Selene laughed softly, picking up the slide and shaking her head. "Of course not, Malcie - that's Avery, you know Avery, he's our -" Selene looked more carefully at the slide, and her voice hesitated. "Our librarian.. not.. a.. hm.. he is rather fluff-" The slow rise of color that started in her neck, and covered Selene's entire face, was a bright, almost radiant red.

Millie raised her hand hesitantly.
"Why are humans afraid of rats and snakes if they are so much smaller than them? If humans are afraid of things that are larger or have more features, then shouldn't rats have to have multiple tails to be scary? And snakes don't have more of anything... is it just teeth and venom then?"

Yep. It was like talking to a brick walk on that one. ---------- Kettil eventually made it back to his seat and flopped over rubbing his leg. He was trying to pay attention to the questions and answers just in case something important was offered as information.

Enzo outright snorted at Ren's sudden proclamation about the ghost-like puppy and he gave Tybalt an appraising raise of his eyebrows. "And he boxes like a ghoulie." Regardless of his grin, his growing black eye said otherwise. Gather the papers? Enzo hung backwards over his chair to receive the stack, and did not hide the fact he casually thumbed through them all before swaying to his feet to plant them on the teacher's desk. Walking was a little trickier with whatever Amarus had put in his system. It was nice. The word groovy bubbled up in his head but he quickly replaced it with sauced. Fixating on the scrambling, green-hued canine, he couldn't help but break into a fresh batch of giggles. Now where did his hat get to?
