From the looks of it, I'm pretty late in joining this guild, aren't I? xD;; (I signed up for Gaia in 2008, don't blame me... ;3; )

Oh, you did? The whole series? =D Awesome. I think it's my second-favorite anime of all time. Princess Tutu and Dragon Ball Z come pretty close though. Anyway, my favorite character is definitely Muraki. <3 I like Tsuzuki, Tatsumi, Tsubaki, Hijiri, Oriya, and Watari a lot too. Not so fond of Hisoka. He's okay, and definitely sexy and fun to torture, but that's about it. Which is kind of funny, since I seem to always get him in Yami no Matsuei personality quizzes. XD;; Oh, you need to read the manga too. ^^ It has a lot more to it than the anime, and even some characters that aren't in the anime, like these two girls they call 'the twins,' even though they're not related, and they always try to force Hisoka to dress up in pretty dresses. XD Then there's the guy that turns into a monster every time he touches a girl. And Tsuzuki and Hisoka go into the world of the Shikigami, where all of Tsuzuki's Shikigami have human forms. X3 It went on hiatus on a cliffhanger though, and has been for a long time. But I've heard rumors that there were a couple more chapters that came out as bonus content somewhere in Japan or something like that...

Yea, its not that long, anyway. It's cute. Lots of shonen-ai and yaoi implications. >3 Yea, I'm borrowing the manga from Yuu-chan but I haven't got a chance to read it. Plus she told me there is no real ending which is kind of a turn off. :/
Iono, I heard it's never gonna finish! D8;; Which is sad and gahhh... oh well. :/ Tsuzuki is cute. ^^ But HISOKA IS THE BEST. D<

Yami no Matsuei's been near the top of my list for a long time. X3 I heart the manga so much, but the anime too. (Aww so sad, you don't like Hisoka? D: For YamiMatsu he's the main character I play...) In Japan she released a few chapters of side story--one Tatsumi-centric, and the other one or two were Oriya and Ukyou-centric, but they weren't that good. D: Her art style really went downhill during her hiatus.

@Akila: Haha, Hisoka would be your favorite. XD I could totally see that. Love Muraki though, and his scary bitchiness. <3The manga's a bit longer, like thirteen volumes I think, which is nice. ^^ But yeah, it never ended. D: You could end at volume eight if you want though, which is where the anime ends. @Yuu Chan: It's okay. XD Nice to meet you. Er... yes, I've done some cosplay, but they're pretty crappy, since I can't sew... >_>;; I actually prefer the anime over the manga, since I like volumes 1-8 a lot better than the later volumes, plus the anime just ended well... it also seemed a bit darker and the music and art was just gorgeous. I remember the first time I saw the opening theme... I just fell in love with the mixture of the music and the sad Tsuzuki and Muraki-ness... <3 With the dolls and all. And I do like Hisoka, but he's just not one of my favorites. XD;; And he's also one of those characters I have a lot of fun making fun of for some reason. He's still one of the sexiest characters in the series though. X3 Ah, side stories? I see, guess that makes sense. Too bad the art isn't as good in them though. D: I still wanna try reading them. I'm curious to learn more about Ukyou and Oriya. I was actually wondering when Ukyou was every really mentioned much (wasn't she only mentioned once in the manga, and not by name? I can't remember...), but I guess a side story would explain it. XD;; I hope she ends her hiatus one day...

As much as I adore the Gensoukai arc, I will admit, I liked the first eight books better... But I was still miffed that in the anime they cut out the St. Michael's arc! D: Of course, it was the dirtiest, so I'm not horribly surprised, but. XD; Tying up the Sagatanasu story would've been a nice throw-in between the Queen Camellia arc and Kyoto. Actually, someone on e-bay is selling the Oriya side story-- But it goes off before this time tomorrow. Not enough time for me to put monies in my Paypal for it, sadly. xD I believe Ukyou only gets mentioned during the Queen Camellia arc of the manga, by Tsubaki-hime, and then when Muraki's 'dying' at the university. And possibly for about half a second by Oriya, but if it is, it's one of those indirect references (like saying Muraki's selfish for leaving two people behind and not just saying leaving him behind, or whatever XD). heart IF she ever ends her hiatus, I'll glee my brains out, but if her art keeps getting more shonen I'll cry. XD; It was so beautiful between books three and five, why did it change!? ToT

Oh gosh, the St. Michael's arc was one of the best! XD It was so... special.
Yeah, I thought Ukyou wasn't mentioned much. I'll probably search for scans online or something for the side stories...
But I seriously do miss her old art style. I like the newer one too, but just not as much. D: I'd deal with the new one if it meant an end to the hiatus though.
