From where he was standing on the water Nan took a little time to meditate on what he'd learned. And like a bat out of hell he was back at it again. He charged at the tree concentrating chakra at his feet using it to help him climb the tree. By now Nan could do it with ease. It was just walking on water he could use a bit more practice with.
Han jumped down. He thought this would be a good opportunity practice his Peregrine Falcon Drop Technique, Nan pretended to have a falling enemy below him. With precision he locked his legs together and his arms firmly in a arm bar like grip.Landing hard on the pond causing water to splash up and drench him with water, but the chakra that he used yet again kept him above water. Now on the surface of water Nan thought this would be a good time to practice some Taijutsu as well as Chakra control.
Nan's eye's shot open."Sharingan..."He said activating his sharingan. It was only in it's first stage so there wasn't much to it. But practice made perfect. And Nan wanted to be nothing short of perfect.

Running on water Nan threw a couple of punches and kicks. Nothing too special. Suddenly Nan dropped down, releasing a powerful leg sweep. Enough to easily sweep and opponent of their feet. Nan kept at his training within a day he'd already made so much progress. Nanyo took of running, leaping forward and spinning his hips. A windsplitting roundhouse kick, or a leaf whirlwind as it was known here. Nan wasn't done yet he went for another attack. Leaping forward he unleashed a fury of kicks with the dynamic action technique.

Nan continued to train he ran swinging his hips learning the gist of the Leaf Whirlwind. And the leg sweep of the Leaf Violent Whirlwind was becoming second nature to him. Nan wanted to focus on the dynamic action technique a little more. He leaped forward throwing a barrage of kicks he could see now that he was able to get more kicks in that time. Slowly he was beginning his first steps on the path of shinobi.

Panthers: Wasn't sure if you were gonna leave a clone at the Office, but I'll be waiting here whenever you're ready.
Shikayumi walked closely alongside her teacher, Yumi. She was mildly quiet due to the hand full of things on her mind; village tension, Mitsugi, a lot of things in general. But still, she knew that this was a time to train with her teacher, and she didn't want to waste his time at all.
"Hey, Sensei? I was wondering if we could keep things limited to close combat training? If that's okay with you." A rather strange request, coming from a Nara whose clan perfected ranged combat. However, knowing her flaws Shikayumi wanted to utilize her skills as a Medic and see if she could get them to harmonize with her clan's jutsu.
Yumi walked through the village with his student who was eerily quiet. This is not to say that she was one to speak his ear off, but based on the simple look of her visage it seemed like she was contemplating numerous things. When she finally spoke, he cocked his brow to her words. Mostly due to the fact that her shadow manipulation abilities, could be just as potent if not even more so, in close range. "Hm... That depends... Unless you want to stick solely to Taijutsu and Bukijutsu," Yumi would suggest, not so much that it was because that was his mastery, but simply he was wary about his student's Clan abilities.
Passives: ♛ Tank 'Classed': Through the hard training that they have gone through, and mastery of it, the master has an enormous body. Making physical attacks towards them [1.25] ranks lower. For every rank below the user at this level, it will decrease by a fifth.
♛ Fists of a One Man Army: The user's fists after training have gotten thicker and harder like bronze. Making Taijutsu strikes with their fist be [+1.25] ranks higher than their own.
♛ Second Wind: The user's stamina has gotten to the point, that it is harder to make them fall down, and stay down. If the attacks are lethal (such as being stabbed or etc.) the user gets a moment of 'Second Wind' and feels more refreshed. [ Add 10 Chakra points upon taking a physical hit C-rank and higher.
• Sharingan Perception While the Sharingan is active, the wielder is able to see even the slightest movements made by their targets, making them near impossible to trick with a sleight of hands move; this includes being able to see chakra, even underground.
• Jutsu Mimicry While in battle, the Sharingan can let the wielder mimic a jutsu that was used in the previous post as long as the wielder may use that jutsu for an additional 50% chakra. The user may mimic a jutsu that is not of an element they possess, as long as it is below their rank, for double the chakra cost. Any jutsu mimiced lose 1 rank in power
• Jutsu Copying While observing a jutsu be performed, the Sharingan may copy the chakra patterns used to perform the jutsu, allowing the wielder to gain instant knowledge of how to perform the jutsu. Shikayumi turned to her sensei as she rephrased the question. "Im trying to get better at fighting up close and personal. Could we not play the distance game today?" Shikayumi's shadow possession required time, and focus, to be effective. Any of her clan jutsus that did not require hand signs were solely supportive; all except one which she would reserve for the end of her training session.
She removed her medical bag as she prepped for her brawling match with Yumi. She still had a lot on her mind but she was going to do her best to not spoil this rare occasion.
Yumi slowly cocked his brow. It was very odd for anyone to essentially spar him in a one-one-one in pure taijutsu. He was, after all, one of the rarer of the shinobi classes within the shinobi world. Any shinobi could fire off jutsu's from a far and watch their opponent be decimated. Even he had the ability, though not as potent or extensive as others, to release powerful mid-to-long range techniques But there is much more pride... in feeling their bones break underneath the weight of one's knuckles, knees, feet, and at times... own forehead. To shatter them so devastatingly that the best thing for a medical-nin to do would be to cut their throats to release them from their destroyed vessel.
But such daydreaming would be for another time as Yumi would relinquish his sword and various other hidden weapons within his Kage cloak and crossed his arms. The only other movement he made was his feet, which were currently shoulder-length apart, to move his right leg back just a half step. Giving his body an angle where he'd then bend his knee's and raise up upon his toes ever so slightly. Very subtle movements that to the untrained eye, would seem like nothing more them him simply getting ready. He wouldn't strike her first for the very reason that, he'd rather see just how well her Taijutsu has come since her younger years. He intended mostly just to defend and better yet, have her speak what was clouding up her mind so, "Very well. But know this... Speak your mind as you fight. The way you hold your thoughts makes your mind a playground for me to exploit. Even if you do not wish to speak of your thoughts, relinquish them. In a real fight, an opponent can utilize your clouded mind against you. Which can lead to casualties. Now... show me how good you are hand-to-hand." Yumi said, giving a gentle beckoning motion forward with his left hand which would soon find itself clasping the side of his face as if thinking while the elbow would be nestled very lightly upon his crossed right hand. No specific style if mostly coming off nonchalant. Though it depended on Shikayumi how she wished to approach the situation.

Lars appeared upon the blink of an eye, standing within the Training Grounds and leaning against the trunk of a tree. He huffs and grips his arm tightly. He hunches over as his eyes soften, he could feel it. He was craving flesh and blood, it was only in his nature. The coffee, though it was able to sate him for awhile, was not enough to satisfy his cravings completely. His nose played tricks on him, the ones in the Training Grounds right now, they all smelled like honey-smoked sausages wrapped in bacon and placed in a fluffy white biscuit. To others, Lars would seem rather sickly, almost as if he was about to collapse at that very moment in the training grounds. He couldn't eat his fellow shinobi, but he was so ******** hungry.
Shikayumi worked with a pair of Nara tagged kunai; something that was suggested to her, by Yumi, before she took the Chunin Exams in order to compensate her lack of strength. She nodded as she slowly side-stepped to the right as she looked for an opening. "Lately I've felt kind of...betrayed. Like, I can't really trust my squad anymore." That being said, she chucked one of the tagged kunai from her hand. These tags would not detonate on impact, but they would pin down whatever's shadow it hit.
All in all, it was merely diversion; a window of opportunity to close the gap on Yumi as she followed up closely behind the kunai thrown. Pending on which direction her Sensei moved, she would follow up with two jabs, then a forward kick to the midsection. "This whole thing with Hiruma, and even Michael, do I trust them?"

xxxxxAfter changing out of her ANBU robes and putting on something more comfortable, Haruko found herself at the training grounds. She was refreshed to see Yumi and Shikayumi getting in some training with each other. At one point, she had considered inviting the girl to join the ANBU, and still did, but it was not time for that. Since she wasn't in her robes, she didn't want to approach anyone with talk of ANBU, lest people learn she was the commander. It was still a relative secret even if people had suspicions of who it was. Slowly, her gaze moved around the field until it eventually stopped on what appeared to be a man. He was new, or at least she thought. She hadn't seen his face anywhere around the village before, and she made it a habit of meeting everyone. Slowly she made her way over to him, before waving to him."Hey, I'm sorry, but this might seem rude, but are you new to the village? I don't think I've ever seen you around here before. My name is Haruko Senju."She was hoping some kind words and a big smile would get him talking, because he didn't seem to be a talkative type just from his expression.

As far as the manipulation goes, the user can freely create geysers that periodically shoot out lava (every other post), can shoot out stored lava from their stomachs, and even superheat the ground beneath them and manipulate it to protect them from incoming attacks and can shoot slow hardening chucks of lava at the user (no matter the distance, the lava chunk will not solidify).
His expression was pained, he couldn't tell anyone he was an Abyssal One, or they'd lock him up and throw away the key with assumptions that he had eaten villagers. He looked to the woman who had approached him and keep ahold of his numb arm, he was sweating a little and looked absolutely pale. Hell, his entire face was a wreck. He knew he couldn't ask for some flesh to devour and he sure as hell would never take a bite out of anyone in Konoha. He gave a soft wave in return before holding his arm again. The smell of this Haruko was intoxicating, it was the smell of a well cooked steak burger with curly fries on the side. Sure, it was fattening, but it smelled hella delicious. It even caused him to drool a little from the corner of his mouth, which he wiped away quickly before she could see and think of it as offensive,
"Hehe, hello, my name is Lars. Its a pleasure to meet you ms. Senju. I'm actually a Sannin whose moved here from Kusagakure. I'm apart of Konoha now."

xxxxxWas that drool she had seen in the corner of his mouth? Perhaps, or perhaps not. Maybe he was just hungry. But the pain on his face? Constipation? Anxiety? What could it possibly be? He seemed friendly enough however. And yet something felt off."Its a pleasure to meet you as well Lars. I hope you enjoy your time here in Konoha. It can be a bit of shock to adjust to life here in the village. Not to be rude, but I find that its easier to get to know someone while sparring, if you would entertain a short match with a little ol' girl like me."Turning up the charm another notch, she smiled at the corners of her mouth and swayed side to side as she waited for him to answer.
xxxxxBut before he could answer, their was the voice again. A deep rumbling like two mountains rubbing against each other, and a deep heat.Be on your guard, there is something that I don't like about him. Something seems off with him. I do not sense chakra, but some different form of energy.The warning reminded that appearance were just skin deep after all, but for the moment, he was but a guest. Hopefully a short sparring match with him would answer some questions.

Yumi's eyes would access every movement she made after giving her the initiation for her to start. Utilizing his full field of vision to watch her movements without innately focusing on one aspect of what she was doing as his peripherals could handle that. His head mostly moved along with her body movements until, just before a few inches before the neck would meet it's limitation, Yumi would pivot his back foot and turn on his heel so he was always full facing her while keeping his body angled. Leaving no true opening that could be exploited as he thought about what she said and what the words maybe implying. The only thing he could think of that would make sense for her to feel betrayed, and rather not have him immediately concerned, was there were falsehoods within the squad. "I see... I understand that, possibly, your squad mates have with-held information from you correct?" Yumi asked as he saw her make her initial attack.
The kunai that was tossed didn't seem to be quite aimed for him. It didn't have the initial height or force backed behind it, to give him the impression that it was truly sent to hit somewhere along center-mass. Given what his opponent's Hijutsu was, it didn't take him long for him to access the possible "true" target, and with a simple step to the right by his back leg followed by his front, he would let the kunai simply past him with a great enough defense that the projected shadow of the kunai would not come into his own. "I would think it is time for your squad to have a sit down." Yumi said as he would move his left hand from his face and smack Shikayumi's jabs at the wrist region while simultaneously pivoting his feet and twisting hips. Making a simple blocking motion have more power and the jabs that Shikayumi created would be over thrown from their original targets which would bring her to have more difficulty producing a smoother combo, "That was a good opening. Although a suggestion if I may. I would be utilizing more than one kunai for that particular opening. Your attack was a little too forward. Should you have instead utilized one kunai to toss, then an additional kunai to follow in the shadow of the initial one yet angled to hit the back of the initial kunai... the timing of the rapid change of direction would've made it harder for me to dodge." Yumi said during the blocks as he took the fraction of seconds gained from his block, to have his front kick meet hers; but not in the same category as one would normally think.
Instead what would be seen as a stereotypical front kick, Yumi's front-kick was aimed right at the crook of Shikayumi's foot. Negating her ability to bring the leg up higher, and with the swiftness that his leg was brought up to halt hers, Yumi would snap his leg in and out to bring a strong pushing side kick towards her abdominal region. The kick, would have an exceptionally minuscule bite of Yumi's actually strength behind it. Merely enough to knock her back a couple feet if she were to block it directly, "Additionally... I would not be so quick to lose faith in your squad. Everyone holds secrets. Some to protect themselves for fear... others for darker reasons... and some simply have not had a true friend to express that vulnerable side of them. In this world, people are hellbent on their own power. Their own strength... when the strength of many can outweigh them, if properly cultivated, at anytime. A squad who finds out how to properly work with each other, can exceed the level of any single shinobi. Have a sit down with your squad... Express your discontent for secrets, for they can only hinder the bond between you all." Yumi said as he noticed another presence within the training grounds but couldn't pinpoint it's immediate location. It didn't seem like an immediate threat against himself or his student but he kept on guard just in case.

"Yes...yes of course, a sparring match would sound delightful," something to take his mind off of the hunger, hopefully he wouldn't cause any problems. "Besides, I'm sure a lady as elegant as yourself is strong enough to match said elegnace." He could pretty much tell a mile away that she was suspicious of him, the amount of distance between them, the offer to spar. Call it a hunch, but he could start making enemies with his own teammates, he needed allies. He decided to play her little game and fight her, but he'd hold back with his true abilities. No one was allowed to see him as he truly was. A monster. A freak. A creature of habit and instinct. He moves away from the tree and adjusts himself according to begin the fight, he does a soft bow, "you can start."
Shikayumi knew it would be hard to break through Yumi's defenses, but she didn't expect it to be this hard. Even his deflecting shots had a bit of a bit to them as they threw her off tempo. "Yeah, but-" before Shikayumi could say anything, or prep another punch, she saw Yumi bring his leg forward in an offensive kick. With little time to comprehend, Shikayumi went into a Z block as her wrist guards absorbed the blow. But still, the kick was enough to leave the student sliding back on her feet. Once she came to a grinding halt, she would pickup where she left off. "I just found out that Mitsu had been playing me for a fool." Shikayumi was clearly talking about how Mitsusada had been parading around as a shinobi named Hiruma, who had down a good job of playing with her emotions.
Looking up at her sensei, she tried to figure out what the best approach would be to attacking her teacher. She figured that the best way to fight her opponent would be to knock down his foundation, and then find submissive windows. It wasn't exactly a well thought out plan, but she didn't have time to think it through. One thing that she learned from Yumi was that you should always be the forward aggressor; that way it gives your opponent minimal time to compile a gameplan.
This time when she approached Yumi she would jab once with her kunai-dominant hand and then, instead of throwing the second jab, she would fake into a sweeping kick in a strong attempt to take Yumi off his foundation.
