The hate machine is pretty strong - one of my other forums (not even a Chan, just a regular anime forum) has become infected with it, going so far as having an "Anti-Gaia" thread...why there is so much hatred, I have yet to understand...

I think a lot of it stems from jealousy, from the fact that Gaia is so mainstream and popular...unlike their pathetic little places. The fact that gaia EARNS MONEY, and other good stuff...

That's one of my issues with the Chans, though...people get used to the anonymity there, with the trolling and pointless spamming and all...then when they join another regular forum, they have no self-control, forgetting that they are no longer anonymous - you see a lot of spam and bannings stemming from that adjustment...

You couldn't be more right bro; it's sometimes unbelievable how often people on gaia use chan speak and are all "Oh this fails majorly YOU NOOB CRUISE CONTROL FOR COOL." And well yeah a whole bunch of other stupid useless s**t that just doesn't belong on gaia. To me, going from gaia to channing is reminiscent of graduating from high school to college xd . It's weird coming back now again and I always ask myself "why?" when I go either place. But Gaia's my first so I guess it's sentimental or something lol
But yeah I look at people that use chan talk on gaia and I go "You are a moron." xd
