((tomorrow i go to saturday school because i was absent twice and my mom is making me go.... after that ii have rehearsals....so i am telling my mom and she starts saying,"YOU KNOW I AM GETTING TIRED OF THIS HAVING TO WORRY ABOUT YOUR SCHEDULE I HAVE THINGS TO DO TOO." LIKE I WANT TO SPEND MY SATURDAY IN SCHOOL!!))

((I think that's kind of a normal thing to feel in that kind of situation. ...I wouldn't advise doing anything rebellious though, that'd probably make things worse.))

((I hav e been drilled by mom into good behavior so to rebel or something i almost impossible for me ;-; I WANT TO BURST! >: She says my grades are awful but i am doing great i am doing everything i can and she stills sees me as a failuer.
I wanted to go in the play to prove i am useful and i wanted to do something intresting...Its always school-home-homework-sleep-school-home-homework-sleep my life revolves around academics i never get to do somethin for myself...now that i do i regret it ...)

((I know how you feel. As for the still seen as a failure bit,...unfortunately sometimes you can't please your parents no matter what you do. That's when you do the best you can and develop a deaf ear for the negative stuff.
On the revolving around academics thing, my life was pretty much the same in high school, except with church and awana added in. It's probably not much consolation but life does get better in some ways after high school.))

((I hope so.... I am deaf to so many things, but it still hurts....My mom wont let me learn on my own she wont let me grow up sa bit...its her rules her word i am just her puppet...she even tries to convience me n ot to follow my career in science...))

((Two things...
1. You sound like Yukiko from persona 4.
2. I know exactly how you feel. But let me tell you some personal advice. As the hole in my house suggests, which was from me going berserk and kicking my wall after I got all "A's" and one "B-" and my grandma told me off, just bite the bullet and strive to better them when you're an Adult. I mean, I have my dad to thank for teaching me how not to treat my children, my mother for how not to discpline them, my grandmother for how not to keep then in like a drill sergent and my mother's many boyfriends/ex-husbands who taught me to hold in my pain and bite the bullet because of the tourturous "Home Boot camp" or "Belt whiping" or "Insert random punishment here".
Then when you're a successful adult you can look at them and say, "I'm better than you because I'm not like you. And you taught me that."))

((Do what you want to do for a career. It's your life and you'll be the one doing it.
My mom wanted me to be either an interpreter for the deaf, a pastor's wife or a missionary. I didn't do any of those things, but I think I'm a lot better off and happier than I would have been if I had lived out her dreams instead of what I wanted to do.))

((the thing is i know my career is hard to suceed in but i want to do what i want i love science she is right its hard to find a job but i can toatlly enter the fbi with a bachelor in bio...she needs to trust me a bit.)

((Thanks. And for Aura: Then follow your dreams, as corny as that sounds. For me, I'd love to be a Lang Arts High school teacher. So I'm going to Community college and going as an english major. Yet my mom and my grandmother want me doing something different. Well you know what? It's our lives, and we can do what we want with them. They actually have no say in what we do. It's up to us. And when we're out that door and on our own, it's our descisions that count, not theirs, ours.))
