Lain is just awesome <3 Talk about wonderful psychedelic feeling through the whole series. Been one of my favorites since I watched it like maybe, hmm, 6 years ago?

I like Air Gear too, follow the manga currently...

I think we have Air Gear, too...

I need to finish Daughter of Twenty Faces sometime, too

Can i just reccomend something a little more well known and less formulaic? The Dark Knight Returns by Frank Miller is an excellent example of good comics.

Hi Mou :3

@GOD: It's also Labor Day Weekend, so all us US kids are probably busy. I am.

Comics? How about WATCHMEN??? <3

@Mou: *glee* Though I don't know what Tana would do if he heard that you liked Air Gear too.

@Cobalt: Probably. My college officially starts tomorrow. Goodbye Halcyon days~

Tana better just deal with it, I follow a lot of mainstream manga because there's a reason some mangas are so popular *shrug* (though I don't know if you mean it's a positive or negative thing... guessing the second one though)

My first criteria when I pick what manga I read is that the artwork has to be pretty, Air Gear definately has completely awesome art.

Watchmen? Never heard of it, but then again I'm not too familiar with the comic world.

May I also recommend Claymore? Awesome manga that has a somewhat original theme and touch (not to mention artwork), it at least got me hooked.

Watchmens good, but I cant help but feel the films going to go wrong, like V for Vendetta.

It was too different to the original comics and very badly executed.

Yes, true. It strayed from the origional premise, but it was still entertaining...Who doesn't like explosions..?

Yes school is starting again, no more 6 days a week work. *overjoyed*

Definately was starting to kill me slowly, not getting any sleep for a month... exhausting. Ended up getting sick from it too, I never catch a cold normally...

So now I'm giving my body a treat of all rest and as little as possible play and perhaps I'll recover eventually. *ignores the fact that she's pretty much just being lazy once again and continues using the flu as an excuse*

I enjoyed V for Vendetta, but I have not yet read the graphic novel, so I can't make a comparison. All I know is the guy who wrote Watchmen and V refuses to have his name attached to them, because he thought V was horrible. crying I'm hoping for better for Watchmen. :/

For those of you not familiar with Watchmen, it's considered one of the greatest graphic novels of all time. <3 Highly recommended, and not just by me. <3 If you liked the new Batman movie, you'll like Watchmen. Hell, if you have a pulse, you'll like Watchmen.
