"Heh, you don't know your parents either? Same here, mine abandoned me when I was born, and they took me to the monastery. Ryu-sama cared for me like I was his own son...and in the end he died to save me." he said.

"How can you not know who took care of you?" Kouga asked.
He suddenly lifted his head and saw the bird flying past, and aimed both of his palms to take down the bird. He got it with the second shot, but the jet was still to wide. Sighh...I still need to improve on my chakra control.

"You mean...you just don't remember?" Kouga asked, very surprised. He then spun around quickly, and fired a burst of air from his right arm. The shot took out the bird, but it also destroyed 2 trees behind it. Still not good enough...Kouga thought.

Kouga frowned determinately and aimed with both of his hands,
"Zankuhan!"
Two jets of air burst out and wipe out 4 of the birds, but missed the last one. He then tried to make the jet narrow like a blade, and fired with his right hand. The jet took out the bird's wing, but didn't take it out completely. I still need to work on the aim..."So, correct me if I'm wrong, but did you get amnesia some time in your life?" he asked.
(Amnesia is memory loss)
