Natalia let out tiny shrieks when the leaves cut her, but just kept on running. A few of the razors burst into flames as they got close, but she was unable to stop more than half of them. Luckily she had reached the shack. The door flung open in a sudden gust of wind and she ran in, injured and exhausted. She collapsed at the girl's feet. So this was the Fount? Unexpected, as expected.

"Woah!" Synthic looked at the rabbit that just came in, "What's a creature like this doing here? And injured for that matter," She said and walked over to it.

Durithill burst through the door not long afterwords. "It's an enemy." he responded simply to Synthic. And it was cornered. Maybe it thought it could hide amongst people, but Durithill had a good aim. He quickly sketched a complicated rune on the floor and held up a paw, one finger pointed at the rabbit. "Say goodbye. Unholy spear." he said as energy began to gather at the tip of his claw.

Natalia squealed but couldn't move. Either this man wanted to kill the Fount or abuse her powers, or he was mistaken. She wished she could get out of the way or that someone would defend her. She had a good reserve of magic left, but it wouldn't last in her state.

"Hold on!" Synthic said and went in the way of the attack. She got hit in the thigh and she fell to a knee, "What's the meaning of this?! It's a rabbit!"

Durithill's eyes widened as Syntic moved in front of the attack, and Durithill's managed to move his claw enough in time to avoid dealing serious damage to the girl. A burst of energy erupted from his finger in the shape of a inch thick beam, obliterating everything in its path as it exited out the wall behind Sythic and for a small distance into the trees. "Are you an idiot! You could have died! Besides, can't you sense the magic in that 'rabbit'! It ignored may warnings, refused to leave, and forced its way out of my containment spell. It's obviously an enemy! Now move so I can kill it!" Durithill said, enraged that he'd be forced to waste a spell. It wouldn't have been as bad if he had been in his human form and could cast high level spells like that without drawing the runes, but now he would have to redraw the whole thing in order to cast it again.

Natalia's nose was flaring madly in fear. She had just avoided being anitmatter there. She owed her life to this woman. As long as the woman thought she was an innocent bunny, she should be safe. So she wasn't about to dispel that myth.

"It's a rabbit, and since you haven't figured it out already, I'm human! How in the world do you expect me to 'sense' magic from an animal like this rabbit?!" Synthic argued, putting a hand in the wound on her thigh and stopping the blood flow.

Durithill growled in frustration. Not only wat the girl not moving, but she had just insinutated that Durithill wasn't human. He didn't mind it from regular people, but she already knew his secret. That was was, in fact, a human. "Fine. Then just move aside so I can kill it." Durithill said, accepting the fact that she couldn't sense it. But at the very least she should trust him. Why would he be blowing holes in his own house without a good reason.

Synthic applied pressure to the wound and severed the blood flow completely. Her entire hand was inside her thigh. Her eyes never once left Durithill's, "I can't allow you to harm life like this! Not without good reason! Why are you so hung up on this animal anyway?"

Natalia's haert jumped when the woman refused to put her down. She felt the blood leaking out of her own wounds and her breath came out in ragged gasps

Durithill growled as his frustration built. His fur began to stand on end as he began gathering as much energy as he could without activating his curse. "I already told you, it's an enemy. It broke through a high level black magic containment spell in order to get here." Durithill said slowly, his voice lowering to a dangerous tone. Any sign of humanity began to fade from his eyes and they became cold and lifeless. "Now move aside, or I'll obliterate you both." His tone showed that he wasn't kidding. He would do it if no one stopped him, and as Synthic herself had pointed out, she was 'human'.

"Can't we just talk this out? This is not the time for this! If the rabbit leaves us alone, isn't that good enough?!" Synthic said, not yielding an inch. One hand carried the rabbit and the other was in her thigh, which was bleeding slower now. She simply wasn't able to get out of the way.

"You know, it's really aggrivating dealing with 'humans'." Durithill said, spitting out the last word to show he wasn't happy about Synthics earlier insinuation. "You never listen to reason, you never think and take the best course of action, and you can never tell when you're in over your head. That rabbit your holding forced its way out of a containment spell to get here! It's obviously looked for her! What if it goes and tells Zen where she is?! Would you have it on your head when he comes and uses her to get the weapon!" Durithill practically shouted. Any spellcaster worth his salt would have at least tried to appease Durithill a little, if no give him what he wanted, by now. Of course, normal people couldn't sense magical energy, which meant they couldn't sense how much energy he was gathering and therefore didn't understand the threat. It aggrivated Durithill to no end.
