Silvia nodded and stood behind Lily, she bent down to look at her "Don't worry, it will be over before you know it!" She said smiling to make her feel better.

Lily looked up at Silvia and sighed. "That's what I'm afraid of." she said quietly. "It won't be over unless we die or they die." she said as her wings stretched out and then wrapped around her.

Valcom stood up and patted Lily on the back.

"Sometimes war is the answer hun."he said and kept walking heading toward the lake.

Lily pouted and nodded. "But that doesn't mean it's the only answer." she replied. She then shook her head and smiled. "Well I guess it doesn't really matter. At least we're killing demons." she said, trying to cheer herself up.

Valcom starred at Lily stopping in his tracks.

"What do you think another answer is?Let a bunch of demons kill the innocent people in the kingdom?"he asked.

Val clinged to her mother scared as she looked at her father

Lily only smiled at Valcom and shook her head. "No. That isn't an answer at all." she said. "I was just thinking that everytime people decide that fighting and war is the only way, in the end, they sometimes realize that maybe there was another answer. Some other choice they could've made." she explained. "All I'm asking, is that you won't do something that you know you'll regret." she said as looked away from him and stared at the ground.

Valcom sighed forming a cross in the air with a quick hand motion and let out a calm sigh.He looked at Lily again.

"I promised to a old friend nearly 20 or so years ago that i'd protect this kingdom and its people with my life.I don't plan to go back on that.If I did..that i'd never forgive myself for."he said.

Lexi got up and walked over to Valcom holding Val's hand. She lightly kissed him on the cheek then glanced at Lily. "Your new here but you do have to understand the effect this place has...lossing one civilian is lossing family. We all are family hmm right Victor?Victor?" she blinked looking around

Victor was sitting on the cliff overviewing the kingdom deep in thought

Lily looked back at them and smiled. "I do understand that." she admitted. She stood up and stretched her wings. "I'm sorry Valcom. I probably shouldn't have said anything." she said with a sigh as she began to walk off.

Valcom kissed Lexi teasingly on the nose and kneeled putting his hand on Val smirking.

"So hows the little co co monkey girl?"he asked.

I wanna practice hand to hand wit brother again" Val said smiling

Lexi smiled watching

Valcom shook his head grinning.

Silvia watched Lily and Valcom talk. When Lily left she yawned and stood up straight smiling at Val.

I know daddy can i train wit grandma this time?" Val asked tilting her head
