Ark and Nezumi

Nezumi heard the noise in the kitchen and sat up. He put a shirt on, covering the scars on his chest. He then stepped into the kitchen, watching Ark.

Ark was caught up in what he was doing, and wasn't aware of anything happening around him. He was making blueberry waffles, and was currently debating whether or not to make anything else with them.

Nezumi quietly went to the coffee pot and fixed a cup. He then sat down and watched Ark cook, wondering if his food was any good.

Ark had decided against making anything else, and let his waffles cook. He turned around and was surprised to see Nezumi. "Oh, good morning," he said with a surprised tone. "How did you sleep?"

"Good morning. Hai and you?" Nezumi asked still pretty sleepy, He softly rubbed his eyes and yawn, trying to be cute.

"Fantastic," Ark said, turning back to check on his food. "I usually sleep straight through the night now. Do you want some waffles?"

"Sure~" Nezumi said with a smile. He was going to offer Ark some coffee, but saddly he'd already drank almost all of it. If the other wanted coffee then Nezumi could just make more, "Want coffee?"

"No thanks, I'm supposed to avoid caffeine," Ark said, as he put the waffles on two separate plates. He brought them both to the table and sat down, starting to eat his part.

"Oh," Nezumi said when he heard that the other couldn't drink coffee. He would die if he didn't have his coffee, but he pushed that thought aside. He took a bite of the waffles and smiled to himself, Ark was a good cook.

"So, what's up for the day?" Ark asked, pausing with food on his fork. "I have to go back to work tomorrow, you know?"

"Not really. All I have to do is take care of my garden," Nezumi said after he thought for a minute. "Do you have anything planned?"

"No, nothing at all," Ark said, "I just wanted to relax for the weekend."

"Oh, ok," Nezumi said licking up a drop of coffee the fear on the outside of his cup.

Ark raised an eyebrow and looked at Nezumi straight-on. "Did you want to do anything today?" he asked.

"You can pick~ I just wanna hang out with you," He said smiling at the other slightly.
