delasislas Paladin Magnus Dawnguard I think this school is cursed. Last year, the band got stuck outside in 20 degrees with no sun, snd encountered technical difficulties, so we stood there forced to hold our instruments for 8-10 minutes even though hands were legitimately freezing to the instruments. Tonight, we were the last competing band, and it was cold and raining like hell, and we had no time to change so we had to stay in our cold wet uniforms for over an hour, unable to buy food or drinks and we were all cranky and hungry. We got 3rd place... third place better than no place? Started working today, was just learning what I was likely going to be doing. Data entry and slipping and falling into a creek gracefully and saving the expensive equipment, phytoplankton study helped me a lot on that. (Afraid to tell the primary investigator how many times I almost dropped the salinometer) I need to get an actual pair of muck boots, my shoes are still kinda wet. Edit- actually, looking at the price of muck boots, it might be better and easier for me to bring along some flip flops, for until later, maybe I can do the summer projects again. SAVE THE EQUIPMENT!!!!!! (That must have been an epic save, though! biggrin ) I hope you enjoy your job, and that you can buy some muck boots soon. Have you checked out any local thrift stores? They might not have the best quality ones, but they might at least be good temporarily until you can afford some new ones.

At least you placed biggrin By the way, I grabbed your aquarium booty xD

Been working more on my Eye of Agamoto. I'm nearly done with the core details, and then it's on to the maddening little stuff that will piss me the hell off for days on end...

My band teacher is teaching us how to shoot spitballs because they're relevant on how to support your air from your lungs when you blow into an instrument.

Best time of my day, hands down: Kitty cuddles with me in the crook of my arm and licks me clean while I listen to Blind Guardian and play Little Alchemy (you have no idea how much restraint I needed to avoid kissing her to death)!

The best thing in the world is when you're emptying your mailbox of emails and messages, and all the bad ones are being deleted without you ever having to read them again. All the sadness is gone. All the memories wiped away. Negativity just disappears before your eyes, and you've got a clean slate.
Now, though, I'm getting spammed with all the, "Marketplace listing: sold" messages that I have to delete every 5 minutes. sweatdrop

I would much rather try making another 4-hour-batch of angelfood cupcakes than try to paint all the little details on my Eye of Agamoto right now.

I found an awesome suit-fitting guide on Tumblr, and it says how to get the legitimately perfect suit. Now I just really want to go to a store and rent one for prom even though that's over a year away! I've never worn a tux, but I've always wanted to!

Blind Blindness Paladin Magnus Dawnguard My TV has been glitching out all day, and I don't know how to get it to stop... Sorry to hear that. I know that's frustrating. The TV has random lines all over it like a grid of some sort... I checked all the wires, and nothing worked. I hope the TV isn't failing because it's not even 10 years old. confused
