Haha, I'd just rather the story not run away from me. I don't know if I can write that at this point anyhow. I managed to get my mind away from it last night - and then today I kinda started with the head down thing again, but I finally not only managed to walk away from that direction (maybe just for now you can hope), I also possibly figured out the point/direction of my entire story, which is yay! I won't fight the muses hard if they start insisting I suppose. My best offer, haha.
Ugh ff.net is being mean!! I started that story you gave me last night (I figured the best way to stop my mind from going one way with my story was to satisfy that urge in another way - and it did work), got through chapter 12, and was looking forwards to finishing it today - but it wasn't working, at first I was panicked thinking the story was removed, then I realized it's the whole site failing on me. I dunno why, that's never happened before. It just now is starting to work again now but still being sketchy *sobs*
I really like it thus far, but for some reason I started it last night thinking it was around 20 chapters, and it's actually around 40 chapters, so while I had committed the time to start and "finish" it yesterday, I needed to go to bed and couldn't stay up twice as long. So I didn't even let myself read to 20, because then I'd be too tempted to keep going, "just one more" chapter.
Mkay, gunna read now, while I can!

Yay, insist, insist! I really need to get reading! >_o So busy... Wow, that is strange. And right when you're in the middle of a good story, that sucks. D: Stupid ff.net. But I'm so glad you like it! <3 Isn't it awesome?

I don't remember most of of the story anyway, since I read it in like... either junior high or early high school, and haven't actually read it since. XD;; I think I've already said this before, but the ending isn't as good as the rest of the story. Not a bad ending, just not jaw-droppingly amazing. Oh yes, I remember how Yami no Yuugi was in that. XD That was one of the things I didn't care for in it, because even though I'm not necessarily defensive of the guy if someone makes him act like an a*****e, but it just seemed a little too out of character for my tastes, especially with how little he seemed to care about Jounouchi's death. Stupid ff.net. D: I don't think it's just you; it's a public site that you don't even need an account to read off of, so it's not like they would give specific accounts problems in reading.

That's fine, I don't think I was expecting a great ending or anything, I just don't like to know the end before the end. I have a friend who ALWAYS reads the end of a novel before starting, it boggles my mind. Although the one time she didn't her Engineering friends actually told her the end and ruined it, go figure. I think that group of book ruiners also included the man who is now her husband (that friend). It was funny though when she was telling me how they did this, because she started her story: "you know how you read the end of the book before the rest of it to find out what happens?" and I'm like "No Mel, no I don't, because that is ridiculous!" She laughed and said "ok, but you know how I do that." Good times, good times. Maybe I should make a badly generated comic about this...^_~.
Haha, I was reading what you were saying about YY and I was about to freak out and go "OMG JOU DIES!" and be all annoyed at you for telling me. Then realized, duh, that happens in the first chapter. Haha redface ...I am smart *dies*. But yea, it was amusing, but it seemed a little too rigidly stoic than character.
It is working now, so hopefully that was just some weird glitch, I've never known it to glitch before though so that was unsettling.

You're right...the ending isn't that good. It's not that bad either, but yea. I did like it, it was interesting, it made me uncomfortable, and it was resolved without being cliche...I can't really think of a better ending for it, I don't think that story could have a typical good ending.
Mmm...need to sleep, so more thoughts on this tomorrow.
Ah frick, I think I'm starting to fall for tuttyshipping (hehe, lame private joke)...~_~.

Th-that's crazy. D: I could never read the end first... sometimes for movies or something I'm not too interested in, I don't mind people spoiling it for me, but usually, that's just... sad. Oh wow, you dork. XD The whole story is about Jounouchi being dead. I'm glad you liked it. ^^ I agree about the ending, that it wasn't too great, but still shouldn't really have been done any other way. I guess it just seemed a bit rushed compared to the rest of the story. Tuttyshipping...?

Agree completely, though I usually even mind spoilers with stuff I'm not that interested in - I'd have to be WAY not interested. I mean I have a most excellent memory (it's why people shouldn't piss me off, I NEVER forget - though that kinda sucks, having to always forgive people, but I do. It's not worth losing them to retain my angry pride - hence wrath/pride not being my weakness. Every mistake I've ever made comes down to envy). So once I learn a spoiler I will probably always know it.
AND I KNOW THAT!! redface ...it's just usually death isn't a beginning, so it's just a knee jerk reaction to read "death" and consider it a spoiler if I haven't finished something. But yea I felt quite silly after the fact, haha.
At yaoi con I went to watch the AMV contest, there was some good stuff, one featured an anime I had never seen before (and still dunno what it's called) - including the bit where one of the main characters dies. I was so mad! I had been slightly intrigued and now I hope I never find out what it was, I don't want to be tortured.
Yea, the rushing thing is probably the only detail I didn't like, had it been paced more in accordance with the rest of the story it probably would have felt right and then I wouldn't be questioning whether or not it was a good ending.
It's not that interesting. One of my friends who hates puppyshipping (I have 2, haha), well a few summers ago we were on vacation and I was looking up puppyshipping stuff to annoy her (ok so maybe MAYBE I was really actually intrigued and using that as a cover - I ADMIT TO NOTHING!!!). Was reading out loud parts from some of the seriously terribly done stuff out there, the ones that were just unrealistic and completely out of character and if you didn't have the nice little series label at the top you'd have no idea. Anyhow we were also both on aim and she got all annoyed and told me something along the vein of to STOP WITH THE F*SKING TUTTYSHIPPING! Anyhow we spent the rest of the week making tuttyshipping jokes. And - on that tree fetish thing - she drew me a picture (which may or may not be on my profile still, kinda small though) of her beating me up with a tree (and breaking our third friend's sunglasses - which I was borrowing - and this friend isn't really into YGO at all so she's of course kind of confused throughout most of this) and telling me "How's this for tuttyshipping you savage." I like it.
Oh and the Savage thing is because we also watched Pocahontas. Me and our other friend were "savages" (because we both have Native American in us - even if it's slight. We're also browner than her - me because I'm half black, my other friend just because that's her complexion) and she was a "white demon." Twas fun, and resulted in much Disney song singing, always a good thing ^_^.

Wow, I'm like the opposite, never remembering anything. XD;; I even had to ask a friend once if we had gotten in a fight the day before, because I wasn't sure if it had been a dream or not. Yeah, I understand. XD I probably would've been like, "Wha spoiler?!" for a second there too. I do hate that about AMVs... the spoilers... but OMG Karma is always looking up AMVs to series she hasn't finished and trying to figure out how things end up! Like with Phoenix Wright, she's still on the third game, but knows how most of the series ends by now. XD;; Wow, that's actually an awesome story. XD I may start making Tuttyshipping jokes myself, because it just sounds so silly. But are you talking about those awful fanfiction where Jounouchi is some poor little abused damsel in distress, constantly just taking beatings from his dad, and then Kaiba comes like a knight in shining armor and saves him? XD As if. The only way I could see that scenario being plausible is if Jounouchi fights back against his dad, maybe not enough to hurt him, but doesn't just take it like a whiny little uke at least, and then Kaiba would intervene for his own selfish reasons to begin with... and see, it's tough to come up with selfish reasons Kaiba would have to help Jounouchi, so that in itself makes you have to think and come up with a unique plotline, and that automatically makes the story at least a little better... er, sorry, I analyze Puppyshipping fics too much. XD;; And score for racist Disney songs!

Haha, cute. Yea sometimes I wish I had gaps, then I could pretend things that pissed me off were dreams...^_^
Haha...oh that Karma, we should get her in here so she can see she's being talked about and then we can have a joint head shake. The only thing I did that with was Naruto - and that's b/c I'd had no interest in it, but found awesome art, so I looked it up a little and then found out A LOT of stuff, but that stuff made me want to see the series so voila. Though didn't get that far, only episode 64 and then got so busy and haven't had time (b/c I can't find the next few episodes in English and haven't had the time to read - or if I have had the time to read my visual materials, there have been things I wanted to see more).
Yes, that's probably the best example, and damn there are A LOT of those. I've glanced at a few and they just don't even come close to being in character, I mean seriously, have some of these authors even seen/read Yugioh?! I mean the only time they even kinda make sense if they are set in the past, where the characters are kids, and it can sort of be in character to not be as rigidly established. Though while there are some fandoms where I really like kid fanfics (Supernatural would be the biggest one for me), YGO isn't one of them.
Also, any story where Kabia is crying, FAIL! I don't care why - ok unless it's a story based on Mokuba dying, than maybe. But like seriously, I dunno what's worse, turning Jou into a girl or Kaiba into a spineless sap. Who'd even love sappy Kaiba? I'd personally be afraid.
Score indeed! Disney rocks...^_^

Is someone having dirty dreams of me hurhurhur...Kidding! I don't mean to spoil things for myself!!! I just...I run into things. And most of the stuff I assumed way before, she amvs just helped little. YOU know me! Going to the movies with me sucks because I'm always jumping ahead trying to figure it out XD I hate surprises so I want to get there before they do.

@Ups - yea Kits is TOTALLY having dirty dreams about you, it's making me rather uncomfortable...hahahah, Just kidding!!! rofl
Yea, when I like a series I REALLY want to watch AMVs and read fanfiction, but that's usually why I rush through series (or at least to stay current if they aren't complete yet), so I can get to those things, because spoilers would really piss me off if they were big enough. I like the element of surprise, and I'd hate to take that away from myself.
Haha, I have a friend who does that too, it's way annoying. I usually only watch things with her that I've seen. It's still annoying to have her ask "what happens the whole time?" We usually just roll our eyes and tell her to "watch." I mean plotting/pondering in ones own head is fine, I do that too (try to figure things out, I don't consider it a spoiler to come to my own correct conclusions). It's just sharing out loud with the whole room that makes me want to smack her! Ah but I do love my friend, so what can I do? razz
