Gears of War - Defending Jacinto (Finished)

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"By the suit creators..? RETARDS!" James scoffed as there was the sound of the compartment being slammed shut, and James jumping off his back shortly after.  

[Zahzi]

"Lemme guess...You set it up to detonate in fifteen seconds..?"  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"No, no... I rewired it and made some adjustments. Now tinkering with wires shouldn't kill you as easily. And any mechanics and computerized stuff of your suit should work faster. I left your triggers the same, figuring you were happy with their current sensitivity. Oh, and you have a higher chance of survival and a less chance of exploding if a shot strays and hits your gas tanks." James said with a proud tone, giving a closed eye smile.  

[Zahzi]

"...A shotgun couldn't burst the tanks..." Naro said with a shrug.
"...But thanks."  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"...Your welcome... I suppose..." James said, scratching his head.  

[Zahzi]

"Now...To find Soqed..."  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

Soqed was loooong gone from her previous location. She wasn't even sure where she was at. Thank God she had a comm-link now, or she could be in trouble.

"...I don't think COG has issued any orders to search this area..." She mumbled to herself as the place was unfamiliar to her.
"...Maybe there's something to be found." She shrugged, using that as her excuse to continue forward.  

[Zahzi]

There was movement in the building by Soqed...  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"Hm?" Soqed perked up instantly, pistol in hand.
"...Someone there?" She called out, staring at the building. "Hello?"  

[Zahzi]

The movement suddenly stopped.  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"....Locust..." Soqed growled quietly, slowly stepping towards the building before pausing. Last time something like this happened, she ended up underground. If it happened again, Naro would surely kill her if the Locust didn't.

"...Please, if you are human, step out." She called out one more time. "I mean no harm. Honestly." She said, slowly raising her hands - and gun - above her head.  

[Zahzi]

The sound of something coming towards the door could be heard.  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"That's it... Come out." Soqed cooed as she began to slowly walk towards the building, setting her gun away. "Everything's alright, I promise."  

[Zahzi]

Whatever was in the house scampered back inside. By the movements, it seemed to move out of fear.  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"No, no! Come back!" Soqed whined, quickly moving inside at a jogging pace. "Please! I can take you to help!" She pleaded as she wandered the inside of the house.
