I know thats what im saying for some reason they cant get past the fact that an emo does not have to cut themselve and hats not all they are
hmm now that I think about it i think I know an emo...she pretty nice & she's really ticklish...
(EDIT): but she fits your description of an emo almost perficly ...oh yea and she is really smart

Hm... also, don't some emos have short, curly hair that falls over at least one eye? I ask because I had a hairstyle like that one day... and my friend thought that I was emo... @_@

Yes, that is a hairstyle commonly associated with the emo subculture. Also, taking pictures of oneself making pouty faces at odd angles and posting them all over your online blog / myspace / livejournal. That is vital.
