Gears of War - Defending Jacinto (Finished)

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"...Where does that go exactly?" Soqed asked, raising an eyebrow before there was a dull thunk on the wall behind her, and another explosion.

"Christ!" She yelled, quickly grabbing onto the girl, shielding her from the falling rubble. After a few moments, Soqed slowly picked up her head, looking behind herself.

By now, the wall behind them was half destroyed, and through the dust several Theron Guards stood, their bows aimed at the house. Between them was a Grinder.

"...Yeah, let's go." Soqed snapped, swiping the girl up and sprinting for the room just more arrows were shot and the Grinder began to fire.

Naro began to speed up even more towards the site...  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

One of the Theron Guards slowly looked over at Naro, hissing and drawing the attention of some of the others.

The other guards, then drew their attention - and weapons - onto him, the Grinder continuing to tear up the house.

"Aahhhh.. <******** MY LIFE!" Soqed yelled, up against the door that the girl had pointed to. By now, what was left on the other side of the door was razed and filled with bullet holes, leaving Soqed little cover.
"...Go, go... Come on." She grunted, pushing herself off the door (the front of it covered in blood now) was a few bullets started to break through. "Lead the way, kid." She groaned, gently pushing Naro's sister.

The little girl held onto Soqed's arm, guiding her through the new building when they came from the door way. There had been another door leading into another hallway.

Naro began to sprint at the Locusts, already shooting a stream of fire at them.  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"...Hopefully they won't follow." Soqed grunted.

"Is this where you've been the whole time?"

The Guards hissed at Naro, quickly moving back to avoid the fire as they shot their arrows at his suit and weapons.

The Grinder now began to notice Naro, staring at him for a few moments, before slowly turning itself toward him, firing it's turret at him.

Naro grinned as the weapons practically bounced off.

"Guess kiddy-flames won't cut it...." he said as the flames became nearly invisible. The flame hitting the streets went through...

The girl nodded, continuing into the next building.  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"Why didn't you come home..? I know with the Locust, it's hard to move as a civilian but you're not that far from the hospital.." Soqed groaned, tilting her head.  

[Zahzi]

".......Felt safer here..."  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"...You consider being alone with no protection safe?" Soqed scoffed, raising an eyebrow as heavy footsteps were heard coming towards ********..." She hissed, grabbing her and quickly throwing her back in the hallway as the remaining Locust from the group killed by Naro invaded the house. They had been planning to the corners, and the foot soldiers were unknowing of Naro's deeds.

"RUN!" Soqed barked, shoving the girl forward as she slammed the hallway door shut, quickly turning around to face the Locust who were now opening fire. She grunted, quickly diving behind a counter as she began to return her own fire.

The girl merely stayed on the other end of the door.

Naro then looked over at where the gunshots were, barreling through the walls....

"OH COME ON!!" Soqed yelled, mistaking Naro for a Berserker, again, when he broke into the building.
"WHY DOES MY LUCK NEED TO BE ON THE SHITTER NOW?! OF ALL TIMES!!" She screamed, half in pain and frustration.  

[Zahzi]

Naro ran into the wall right in front of Soqed, getting in front of her and immediately igniting the enemies in front of her on fire.
"Berserker's dead! LONG dead!"

The little girl's head shot up.  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"..Naro?" Soqed perked up, slowly looking up at him, before letting out a heavy sigh of relief.
"Thank God... I thought I was gone..." She sighed, slumping over, before suddenly sitting up.

"Naro! Wait!" She snapped, slowly pulling on the back of his suit until she was back on her feet. "Your sister.. I.." She mumbled, shambling to the hallway.  

[Zahzi]

"Hmm?" Naro looked over at Soqed.
"Soqed! You're hurt, you need to take it easy!" he said, looking down at her as the door's knob began to slowly open.
"!!" Naro looked at it, aiming one of the barrels at it.

His sister opened it slowly, staring at him.

"............Hilda..?"  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"It's nothing..." Soqed grunted, ignoring Naro's concern and her own wounds as she leaned up against the remaining wall, about to grab the handle when it turned itself.
She let out a low grunt, leaving the handle and slowly looking back at Naro, quickly slapping his barrel.
"Put that away you ********!" She snapped at him just as his sister popped her head out.

"...I found in the next building over... The razed one." She groaned tiredly. "Says she's been here the whole time." She chuckled lightly, before reaching over and picking up Hilda.
"Open up your compartment, Naro." Soqed grunted, stumbling around as she tried to walk behind him.
