You may have noticed that I'm wearing purple, rather than my Halloween outfit, today. That's because today is Spirit Day, in honor of the recent suicides due to homophobic abuse at home and in schools. The purple on the Queer flag represents Spirit. So, those who are honoring the memory of the recent deaths and wanting to show their spirit of acceptance, we will be wearing purple. 3nodding

Going to go take a shower... and then I'll finish the last doll of the set I've been working on. *sighs*

Normally I would be sleeping in for Thursdays. However, I have my advising appointment today at 11:30 am. So I had to get up early, so that I can take a shower and get ready and what not for it. *sighs*

I learned that the decoration theme for my school's Monster Ball is The Legend of Sleepy Hollow. So, of course, I had to listen to the OST from Tim Burton's Sleepy Hollow (composed by Danny Elfman). biggrin

I hope I won't be the only one who won't be doing a historical monster-themed costume for the event. I'll be going as Fauxlivia from Fringe.

*sighs* Oh well. I'm sure I'll have fun none the less.
