The reason was bizzare but there were people out there like that. "Interesting..." It seemed that Karin was trying to bond with the rest of the group, that she had observed from when she first met her. Although she warned him, it seemed like either Noah had forgotten and found himself befriending her or that he was one heck of an actor. However, she was a good way to find out more information about this man by doing so. When Azumi arrived, her grey eyes followed her movement. "Sorry about that. After the attack, we came here. This is where we will rest for the night so get some sleep." Azumi's behaviour concerned the lightning-user and wondered if she was just tired or something.

karin looked up at Azumi, "hi! im sorry we left you.....what were you doing?" she leaned up and waited.

Azumi could taste Rin's worry. It was a bland taste with a hint of natural apple. "Why do you worry" she asked looking up at her. "Is something wrong?" she said her gaze shooting to Karin. Azumi's eyes narrowed but still stay blue. "I was...wandering around...". In truth she went into a town and then her mind reading abilies got out of control. She still hadn't told the others of her powers.

"You just seemed drained, that's all..." Rin did not question how Azumi knew this, assuming that it was one of her abilities. That also explained how she knew that her mind was about to be read.

"oh," Karin could tell Azumi was upset with her or something along those lines, "umm, im sorry if im causing you any trouble." she said siting up and bowing slightly.

"Wait a sec there was a fight" Azumi said sitting back up from Rin's shoulder. "Where were you during this?" she said pointing at Karin. Rin seemed completely calm around this girl. Azumi didn't feel the same aura around her as before and she wanted to know what had happened.

Karin explained to Azumi her past, "so i wasent sure what to do and at the last moment i attacked the enemy, i dident want any of you to get hurt, because of me, it just dident make any sence to me, it is strange cuz its my job to kill you, but i wasent able to do it, i had to protect you, im sorry it took me a wile to get my head together but when i did i did not regret it.....im sorry." karin lowered her head to the ground.

"It's true." Rin shrugged, there was no trace of a lie as far as she could see. "We'll talk about it later with Victoria." There was a second meaning in her tone, one that Azumi hopefully got. In other words, 'We'll decide what to do with her later.'

Noah sat up clutching his side. He groaned in pain. He stood up and walked over to Rin. "What time is it Rin?" he said groggily. He noticed Azumi, but didn't say anything.

Karin was oblivious to the hint, and decided to get she sleep, she laid down in Rins lap and started to fall asleep, "ill take watch when you done, if its ok."

"A bit over an hour or so since we first got here..." Rin raised an eyebrow as Karin slept in her lap, but did not comment on it. "...Still hurts doesn't it?" She gestured to the wound, which still needed some time to heal.

Noah chuckled. "I've had worse. Mercenaries always get bad wounds in battle. So, what have you been talking about with Karin?" he said pulling out more bandages and bandaging his arms.

Victoria stretched, and pretended to sleep, but really didn't, listening to the conversation. She turned to her regular self. She yawned.
"So, why's everyone awake? It's still night...." she asked in a sleepy-like tone.
