he looked at kyra and sipped his black drink "so whats up with you?"

winry got up and went to her dorm

Nikolai arrived and waited on lena

Lena was reading her book as she walked to the cafe. She didn't notice Nikolai and ran into him. "Ow! Sorry!" she rubbed her head.

"its alright. shall we go in?" although he already knew the answer cause he went in and sat at a table

"I guess so." Lena smiled and sat down in front of Nikolai. "This feels really weird without our normal gang." she muttered.

"yeah sorta" when the waitress came he ordered a glass of water

Lena ordered a coke. "So how does human taste like?" she asked silently when the waitress left.

"depends. if its sweaty, its kinda salty. if its bleeding, it tastes a little like iron. tan skin tastes like beef and pale skin tastes like chicken. all sorts of things contribute to the taste of human"

"Do people smell tasty to you? Y'know, like vampires?" The waitress came back and gave them drinks. Lena ordered chicken nuggets.

"actually yeah. and like the taste the smell of a human is determined by many factors" he didnt order anything

Lena lowered her gaze. "How...do I smell?" she asked.

he sniffs the air "hm....salty, sweet, and sorta spicy." he decided to show off a little "your personality is sweet and you can be hot or gritty when you need, or want, to"

Lena giggled. "Impressive." She looked at Nikolai carefully. "But can you tell what I really am?"

he sniffs the air again "hrm....by the trace amount of Fire of your smell...i'd say....demon?"
