XXXXXXAxel arrived at the gates of the Rain Village, retracting his wings as he began his trek through the rain. This was still the most annoying village he had ever traveled to, especially considering that his elemental skills are practically useless here. Removing the umbrella that he got just to travel to Rain, Axel opened it up and continued his trek. Spreading his mind throughout the village, he detected all who were within. An S ranked ninja was just ahead of him at the gates, along with the demon host, Red X, and..."the b*****d that made our lives a living hell in Suna!" he muttered as he sensed Hiro's chakra signature as well. "Why oh why couldn't my life just be ANY easier..." he stated as he held his ring up to him and began relaying his thoughts. I found Saotome, he's in the Rain Village, come quickly . Approaching the gates through the darkness, he stood tall before the Saanin. "Hello, my name is Axel Hajime, shinobi of the Mist Village," Axel said with a feeling of discomfort. It was the first time that he's ever used his real name to introduce himself at another village. It was also the first time he's never worn a cowl, hidden his face, changed his appearance, or lied when introducing himself to a new village. Now that he was officially a member of the Mist, there was really no point. "My squadmates are on their way behind me now. We do not mean the Rain Village any harm, in fact we would like to exchange information on the happenings of the outside world with the Rain Village in order to figure out what the source of this infernal darkness," Axel spoke out in order to appeal to their better nature. Maybe exchanging information will allow them entrance to the village and seek Saotome out.

Kairi dropped from the skies and traveled back to the veil of darkness around her. This time however she could see different lights coming from the gates. It would seem that the Rain Village was still providing chakra output in order to see through the village. Landing safely behind Axel, the forces of the Rain would be astounded to see a woman drop down from the skies with wings of ice on her back. The wings suddenly melted off as she stood up straight. Immediatley she bowed to the forces of the Rain Village, signaling that she was there not as a hostile force but to ensure a mutal respect between them. "My name is Kairi Ushio of the Mist Village," she told them as she looked over at Axel who had already begun a part of their reason for being there. "We are in search of a rogue ninja by the name of Saotome. He currently is in possession of a valued treasure which belongs to the Mist Village. We know he is in the Rain Village and simply wish to confront him and retrieve the treasure. If he complies, then there is no threat to the village or to its people. If he shows resistance then our only role is to simply subdue him and retrieve what is rightfully the Mist's. Even with the resistance kind sir, we are not here to spill blood in foreign soil. That is the last thing we want to happen and wish to maintain a peaceful relationship with the Rain," Kairi stated. She hoped that the Rain village would simply allow them entrance, that's all they needed. Once they were in they would be able to subdue Saotome, retreive the Blastsword and have both him and the Rain Village go about their business. She was serious when she said that she did not want to spill blood in foreign soil, even if it was the blood of a coward who hides behind those of higher power.

Kemuri watched as the three shinobi arrived at the gates. He stared hard, taking a defensive stance, but calming as it was clear they were not ready to attack. He listened to there words, and read there faces though the rain. After a short pause he spoke. "Draco. Hiro, get over here." he called for the two most trust-able shinobi at the gate to even the odds if things got hairy.
He focused his attention on the girl, she was straightforward, and seemed to be the leader of there little band. "My name is Kemuri. I have heard ill thing of the mist village. That your not thriving well in today's world. Though i can respect dedication to a village. Tell me, what does Saitome have that is so valuable? As you may know there are dark times falling on us, and I find it strange that this item would be on the top of you priority list." The Sanin shifted his footing some as his mind raced with possible outcomes. This would either be very complicated, or very simple, but right now nobody was getting though these gates.

Kairi maintained her position between Axel and Raiden. It would seem that Kemuri was as wary and cautious as ever. A good trait for a ninja to have, to never be caught off guard. She had met once before long ago at the Rain village shrine, but back then she went under the name of Rein. "The treasure is one of the legendary swords of the Hidden Mist. As you say, we are falling through the dark times. However, the ninja of the Mist are trying to rally the people, to bring the Mist back from the ruins it now lies. The 7 swords of the Mist are not only weapons but symbols that represent the strength of the Mist. By gathering these symbols together, we believe that we can rally the support of the people and bring back the Mist to its former glory. Not to mention that Saotome is a Mist rogue. The fact that I'm not here to kill him is very unlike the Mist. However, in order to maintain a peaceful relationship with Amegakure, we have resolved not to kill in your land," Kairi explained as her resolve was absolute. One way or another she was going to get inside that village, but she took the high road first to avoid unnecessary costs and risks. The people needed a symbol of hope in these dark times and before her life was over she would make sure to give the people that symbol.

XXXXXX"Kairi, he's on the move! The moment he senses our presence he's going to attempt to escape, and he won't escape us!" Axel exclaimed. "Hey, Kemuri-sama, I'm not about to go crazy on your village, and no disrespect but I am simply cutting off his means of escape!" Axel exclaimed as his wings suddenly erupted from the blades of his shoulder. Saotome was going to attempt to escape once he realizes that they were there. Of course, his chakra sensing skills weren't anywhere near the level of his own, but still it would be hard not to sense their chakra levels. The only way he could think that Saotome would escape is by spraying himself in a fine mist. Despite this, he could only travel so far, by only one mile. That mile won't mean anything to him or the others. Flapping his wings once, Axel moved backwards into the sky. He was moving further away from the gates of the village. He didn't want any flames destroying any part of the gates should the need arise. Forming a single seal, Axel's entire body was engulfed in a fierce fire, bringing light to the surrounding area. Now it was Kairi's turn to put up her own defense, a wall of blazing fire that would prevent passage to anyone. Even in the rain, the water could not quench Axel's blaze.

Kairi's eyes widened as Axel located Saotome's movements. "Kemuri, I promise to you that any damage done will be repaid twofold and that no blood is spilled, all I ask in return is that there is no intervention," Kairi pleaded as she jumped back from the gates of the Rain Village. Axel was setting the technique up, and it was time for Kairi to finish it. Thankfully, should Kemuri and the others choose to disregard Kairi's plead, Kairi hoped that Raiden would be able to stall them long enough to prevent Saotome's escape. "Ready Axel..." Kairi said to him as the wind in the area suddenly blew harder than ever before. The torrential rains seemed to almost stop due to the wind pushing the raindrops away. Axel's fire, that was what she needed. Standing beneath Axel while he was in the sky, Kairi used her angel's prowess over the wind element to spread the fires that Axel was emitting. Axel's flames only seemed to grow more and more intense as they spread out in the sky. With Axel continuously fueling the fires, Kairi would be able to expand them and make them stronger with her wind chakra. With their combine focus, they could control the fires to proven them from growing out of control and devastate the area in front of the gates of Rain. Within seconds, a colossal wall of fire now spread in front of the entirety of the Rain Village. The wall of fire expanded higher than any shinobi could even fathom of jumping over due to Axel being so high in the sky, while the wall wrapped around the Rain Village to prevent Saotome from escaping from any direction. He would have to face Kairi then, and the toll was the Blastsword, only then would Kairi allow safe passage to Saotome.

The Last Water Sage
At Kemuri's call, Draco had moved to his left side, and opened up his bamboo umbrella to keep himself from being completely soaked by the rain. He didn't know two of the shinobi's that had shown themselves, but he did recognize one of them as the lightning sage that he had met a while back, and was actually surprised to see him. He hadn't heard anything about him at all, and had assumed that he had died, just like most of the other previous sages had. When the mist shinobi's started making a fire wall just beyond their gate, he tilted his bamboo umbrella back a fraction to get a better view it, admiring the blaze, but remained relatively unimpressed. Fire wasn't an element that he ever got anxious about anymore. "If you're wondering about anyone's opinion, I think we should allow them to go." He turned his head towards Kemuri so he would be able to hear him better over the roar of the wind and fire. "They are only retrieving an item after all. If someone stole from our own village, we would go after them too."

Raiden watched the massive wall of flames come to life, sealing the village preventing any from escaping or entering. The flames that surrounded the village was beyond that of normal fire, which would require something extreme to put a dent through them, not to mention the boost Kairi applied. Raiden's gaze met Draco's, hard eyes lingering before he gave a nod and then returned his attention to the other two by him. He kept a close eye on them, while cutting his hand ever so slightly to where blood leaked. "I prefer if none of you interfere...we must obtain what is the Mists'. I will put up resistance should you refuse" He said bluntly and without emotion behind the words. Drawing a small bone spike from his palm he smeared the blood on it and slammed his hand into the ground, driving the bone spike deep into the earth and made a few short seals. While nothing happened for the moment, a tremor could be felt, causing everything to shake but not violently. Not enough to cause damage, but it was no earthquake. Anyone who has ever fought alone side Raiden before and witness the movements he just used, they would know what horrors were about to come forth from the earth around them. The man had no intentions on attacking anybody, only to ensure Saotome did not escape and if he done so then proper actions will be taken. Meanwhile, Raiden continued to watch the three shinobis before him. As he warned, he will engage them if they attempt to stop Kairi and Axel. He hoped they'll heed to his words, for if not it'll be fair game.
