I think most of the former regs grew up and got real lives and just don't have time for Gaia anymore. Unlike me, with my complete lack of life, I'll probably be here until the whole place burns down. ^^; A few people still drop by occasionally, though! But I don't think even Gaia as a whole will ever see the levels of interaction that it got back in its heyday around the early/mid 2000s, let alone our poor guild, especially since the devs absolutely refuse to update the guild system to even meet the current main forum standards. I'd say it's like stepping into the dark ages, but going from dark mode forums to a guild is like stepping under a midday desert sun after spending days in a deep cave with zero light, so it's not necessarily an apt metaphor... At least not in that regard.

I try to be around daily but there are times though that are a dark time for me as it's I've fallen into depression & anxiety both at once attacks when just sitting around with not much to do but think about my pass & present issues, and so I'll just spend the whole day in bed wanting to die because of depression, and being afraid to think that as anxiety makes me feel like that's a bad thing to do.
On a brighter side life is okay for me still as I got my family to help me and plenty of helpful friends of mine al be it they are both small amounts as my family is rarely together to know one another & I got a small number of friends. And with both if I don't appear here it's sometimes because I'm hanging around them more to avoid the other darker days.
As side notes sometimes I am here on the darker days suffering from anxiety and depression but it's just to get the daily stuff and hop off as not in a good mood. And I've been feeling I should come around gaia more often to hop into places cause I do have friends here too if not just good people to chat to and honestly with Gaiaonline they're better then most all of my society here of people to chat with in town.

I understand how that goes completely! For me, Gaia is one of my escape places to get away from my own head and the real world, which is why I'm around so frequently. (Plus I, admittedly, have more internet friends than irl friends.) But I totally get that that isn't for everyone, so you've gotta do what's best for you! It's not likely that I'll be going anywhere when you need to take a break, so there will likely still be cute and/or amusing GIFs whenever you feel up to coming back around.

Guilds are my main place to hang out, the normal forums tend to be a bit too wild for me, haha~ I check up on, like, Site Feedback, GCD, LK, and Runway, and that's about it. I'm not brave enough to go hunting for a Gaia discord, I've heard most of the publicly discoverable ones are weird and toxic, and half the others are clique-y. Sounds like you've found a good one, though! I only half use one server in Discord, really, and it's a friend's server. Don't think I have the spoons to really interact in any other server unless I know at least some of the people.
It's the first half of February, I'm giving myself permission to post silly lovey GIFs like this.

I'm not brave enough to go hunting for a Gaia discord, I've heard most of the publicly discoverable ones are weird and toxic, and half the others are clique-y. Sounds like you've found a good one, though! I only half use one server in Discord, really, and it's a friend's server. Don't think I have the spoons to really interact in any other server unless I know at least some of the people.
I know it. I left two or three discord cause of that. But the one I'm in is nice, and very friendly. And one big thing, is there are SO MANY items/collabs from this group! I currently am in about... 4 or 5 collab?

In all honesty when it comes to RL friends I've given up making my own for the most part & just make friends with any good friend's friend or a family member's friend, but as for online I got a lot more & even though I don't talk too much to any of them on here the few I have chatted to to are great people. (and I prefer more Gryffindor sorted people on here then I do IRL.)
Course talking Hogwarts houses & mainly going off on Gryffindor house, I think the only reason I have a high hate for Gryffindors on my own that isn't just because they're rival house (since I'm a Slytherin.) or the House criticism of all Slytherins are evil so they just hate all the other houses not theirs, is because in my life I been backstabbed by too much Gryffindor sorted "friends" & I only quote around that friends because being honest if they backstab you they must never have been true friends.
Other then all that going on I'm glad for the internet friends I made that all seem good no matter what house they're in if that's a thing they want to know and they have one themselves.
