"But you didn't Hunter. Look at me, I'm still alive." Veronica leane over to him, kissing his lips softly.
"See, look. I'm here. I'm... well I'm not alive. But you know what I mean." She released his face from her hands and sighed heavily.

"Baby, listen to me. I'm okay."

Hunter sighed and let her kiss him although he didn't really kiss her back, he still felt like a complete d**k head and an a** hole and unworthy and just a bunch of other things. "Veronica.. I just..." he sighed. He was never going to forgive himself for this. But if she wanted him to stay despite the fact he could hurt her again, he would. But it was to make her happy, he no longer considered himself good enough for her.

Hunter didn't kiss her back, which was expected. He was going to be all timid again, wasn't he? Just like when she was a freaking human.
"You just what babe?"
Veronicas eyes searched his face as she stepped back, just barely.
"Hunter, I'm stronger now. Sure, you could've killed me. But the fact is you didn't."

She snuggled into him. Thank God he wasn't mad at her. Ravin loved Dylan so much. She couldn't imagine him not being around. "Yes," she merely whispered.

Dylan held her closer. She pressed a kiss to his throat. Ravin followed his movements mutely unitl their voices faded away into the distance. All that could be heard was the wind gently rustling the leaves of the trees.

Hunter shook his head. "Nothing love, let's just get Ravin's mesurments then you can go home and get started on that dress..." he said softly, running his arm around her waist and giving her a small hug and following in the direction Dylan had led Ravin.

"I actually don't need them. I have them mostly just by looking." Veronica sighed. Her new strengthened eyes helped with that.
"And.. Uhm.. So we can just get back to your house and I'll get it started."
Veronica looked up at him before continuing to walk with his arm wrapped around her.

Dylan could hear them for a few more paces. But once they were far enough away their voices turned into a background noise. And a few more steps caused their voices to completely drop.

"I love you Raye," He sighed softly, holding her close to him.

She smoothed her hands over his back. Ravin traced circular patterns in Dylan's back. The tips of her fingers lazily brushed up and down his spine. She stood on tiptoe and pressed a kiss to his forehead.

"I love you, Dylan," she returned.

Ravin closed her eyes and laid her head againt his chest. Her belly grew warm. The heat emanated pleasantly. She smiled at the feeling. Emily was happy.

He looked down at her, kissing the top of her head.

Her head rested on his chest and he combed his hands through her hair and down her back. They rested at her butt.

She laughed into his chest. "Most," she said softly. "Not all, but most."

Ravin grazed her fingertips thoughtfully down his chest. Dylan combed her hair. She shivered pleasantly at the feeling, smirking when they rested on her butt. She wanted to tease him but decided against it.
