Dante read down the scroll until he found a skill he found he liked. It was also a chuunin technique, meaning it would take much longer to master. He didn't care. He liked the look of it, therefore he would learn it, no matter how long it took him. He had had to deal with much worse, so he didn't really care. He squared himself off and began to practice the 'Raiton: Raikou Kousen no Jutsu (Lightning Release: Lightning Beam Technique)'. Hopefully, it would be quick. He highly doubted it though.
[1/11]

Dante allowed chakra to flow through him once more, but this time allowed much more. He knew that a jutsu like this would take much more chakra than his other genin jutsu. But the outcome would be worth it. He then gathered the energy in the palms of both his right and left hand and saw a zap. Just a teeny, small zap. Not even a bolt. He sighed in a frustrated manner, wondering why he had used so much chakra making such a small zap. He shrugged it off, as he knew he was bound to make mistakes, and even big mistakes. He readied himself for another try at the beam of lightning.
[2/11]

Dante was frustrated about the waste of chakra, but not done. He was still going to try this jutsu, no matter how many tries it took. He let chakra flow through his body, and once again felt the stream flow unblocked. He then let the chakra stream out of his hand at once, and it shot out, in a small bolt. It was improvement, but not much. It wasn't even the normal sized bolt he had made earlier, only about 3/4ths of the size. He wasn't discouraged, or even close to giving up however, as this was improvement. He knew as long as there was improvement, there was a chance. He sighed before readying himself for another attempt at the lightning beam.
[3/11]

Dante stopped going at the way he was going. If he kept doing this, he would just run out of chakra and end up collapsing. So instead, he tried a different tactic. He Pulled in a massive amount of chakra like he normally would, but most of it remained potential energy. He slowly realeased the energy this time, only partys of it becoming kinetic energy. This time, it was a slightly larger beam, and it lasted longer. He was glad with this method, and decided that this would be his new method for learning the Raiton skills. It was more efficient, and lasted longer.
[4/11]

Dante tried the same technique he had implemented before, and was quite pleased with these results. Instead of it starting small and gradually growing bigger, it started big and eventually died down. He knew that if he could keep this up, he would soon have a massive beam on his hands, able to do some serious electricity damage. He couldn't wait for that, and was eager for it.
[5/11]

Dante Tried the Raiton beam technique once more, and he thought it was going to do well. Perhaps this was his downfall this time. It had appeared that this one would grow quite big, but all that ended up happening was an average sized bolt. He figured he hadn't concentrated enough, excited on the progress He had made. He shook his head. He couldn't afford to be wasting his time, or chakra like this. Now that he had his mind in the correct frame, he decided to try again, to see if he had more luck on it.
[6/11]

Dante once again, went for the Beam technique, and was dismayed by the outcome. This wasn't what he had wanted at all. Instead of it growing in size, it had gone down to the size of a smaller bolt. Not even average sized. He shook his head, extremely frustrated now. If he wasn't going to do this right, why was he doing it at all? He mentally slapped himself for that thought. He didn't give up; ever. Even when it came to the small things, he had to give it his all. He decided he'd try again, and would do so until he got the beam down.
[7/11]

Dante tried the beam technique again, and what he saw almost made him give up then and there. He had put in an enourmous amount of chakra, and recieved a tiny spark in exchange. He doubted that the spark could have even powered a walkie talkie for two seconds, let alone electrocute one. Suddenly, a thought came to him. He had been using so much chakra, and hadn't allowed himself any time to rest. This must be the problem He thought to himself as he stopped. He figured a small rest wouldn't hurt, so he sat down for a small rest.
[8/11]

Dante layed down, tired. He figured he deserved a rest. He had been shooting all that lightning out of his hands with no rest. He figured in a couple more tries, he was bound to get it. He didn't know what it was, but he just had a gut feeling. If he could get this one down, it would save him one to tackle further down the road, so he might as well. Sighing, he got up and dusted himself off before trying again.
[9/11]

Dante Focused on emitting a big blast of lightning, something powerful enough to bring powerful shinobi to their knees. While this was unrealistic, it helped him out. He was now envisualizing success. He felt that extremely familiar sensation of chakra just waiting to be let out, and the tingly sensation in his palms as he transferred it into his palms. He then felt the Feeling of letting it out, and was pleased. It wasn't big enough to be called a stream, but it was bigger than the average bolt he had seen. There was still room for improvement, so he decided one more time.
[10/11]

Dante was confident now, about everything to do with this jutsu. he knew it well enough, he knew the handsigns, and he knew the chakra it would take. So it was no big surprise when he tried it again and there was an extremely blue blinding light, and a bigblast of lightning coming through his palms. He was ecstatic now, having learned his first chuunin jutsu. He knew several gennin, and now had a chuunin tacked onto the list.
[11/11 finally finished with lightning beam]

Dante was still pleased with himself, but knew there was much more he could learn from this scroll. For instance, there was this 'Kumo Keba no Jutsu (Cloud Wisp Technique)' That he had found, and seemed like an excellent scouting jutsu. He knew this would be much easier to learn than the last one, which had been draining but worth it.
[1/3]

Dante looked outside at the clouds. He found it funny that something as simple as condensed water could make fluffy shapes. But enough daydreaming. Back to training. He focused on making a cloud, and let out a brath after performing the correct handsigns. The breath came out, a tiny wisp along with it. The wisp only lasted about two seconds before it dissipated however, which was to be expected. He shrugged it off and decided that another try was in order.
[2/3]

Dante actually focused now, not thinking of anything except the task at hand. He once again let the chakra flow, but this time to his lungs instead of his stomach, and breathed out. His consciousness was now in a little cloud, and he could see everything the cloud could. He could even see himself, and it was like looking in a mirror. He looked as if he were sleeping while standing, his face peaceful. He dissipated the cloud, glad he had yet another jutsu to add to his arsenal that was growing by the minute.

Dante was looking down the scroll for another jutsu to learn. He loved how the Raiton jutsu were learned. They were a challenge, yet a fun challenge. He knew the element od lightning was unpredictable, and he liked that. His eyes found a jutsu called 'Nagare Isou no Jutsu (Current Transfer Skill)'. This seemed like an interesting jutsu. The ability to transfer a current to a weapon? Sounded good to him. He pulled out his sword and decided to test it.
[1/3]

He went straight to putting his attention on charging up the sword. Now that he had the chakra ready, he attempted to transfer it to the sword. He didn't have much luck, however. He coudn't see much of a change in the sword. He absent mindedly touched it and felt a small static jolt, but nothing more. He decided one more try should do the trick/
[2/3]

Dante put his attention and focus back to the blade. Instead of trying to make the electricity flow through his hands into the sword, he decided to give it time to stop in his hands to collect itself. Once this was finished, it transferred on up to the sword, and they started being arched up and down with electricity. He really didn't want to test this one out, as he was sure it would do some serious damage.

Dante was reading the scroll once again, and found a jutsu he couldn't believe he had skipped over. It was called 'Raikou Bunshin no Jutsu (Lightning Clone Technique)'. This was basically a bunshin no jutsu, but the clones could shock people. He readied himself, poured the chakra out and it materialized another Dante, although this Dante packed an electrical punch. He dissipated the clone, pleased he had learned a new jutsu.

Dante, in spite of himself began reading through the chuunin skills again, and one skill in particular caught his eye. the 'Raiton: Raikou Shunshin (Lightning Release: Lightning Instantaneous)' Jutsu. He knew that he always ended up tired out learning chuunin skills, but he wanted this one. He once again, prepared himself for the tedious learning of a chuunin skill. If he learned this, he could teleport, which could be used in all sorts of situations.
[1/11]

Dante did the single bird sign, putting energy in it to try and teleport. As he had expected, the first try failed. He couldn't feel anything except for getting more tired from using chakra to do absolutely nothing. He knew this was bound to happen a few times, and he decided to keep trying it until he got it, like he had with all of his other techniques.
[2/11]

Dante once again, held his hands out in front of him for the bird sign. He tried focusing on a short distance to travel, from this side of the classroom to the other. He poured the chakra into the symbol again, and still felt nothing, except another tingly feeling. He shook it off, knowing this was bound to happen a few times before he actually got some progress out of it. Sighing, Dante resolved to try it again, like he did everytime.
[3/11]

Dante once again, formed his hands into the bird sign, and didn't feel anything for a moment. He almost stopped the birdsign, when suddenly it felt as if his body was being compressed and compacted. To anybody viewing it would have appeared that He had just turned into a little lighting bolt and moved about an inch. To him, he had only moved about an inch.
[4/11]

Dante didn't even bother with the birdsign, and expected to get nowhere with this one. It was merely an expirement, nothing more. Instead, he felt that odd sensation of being pressed down, and moved about three inches. Small improvements, small improvements. He thought to himself. He knew he would get it down soon enough, all he needed was practice, practice, and more practice.
[5/11]

Yep, you guessed it. He did another bird sign. Dante expected this one to be it, but that was not the case.He didn't even move this time. He wasn't discouraged however, as he knew lightning training was unpredictable and flukes were bound to happen. Shrugging it off as he always did, he was ready for another go.
[6/11]

A birdsign is what he did. He decided to stop expecting things to happen, as he then always got surprised at the end. He decided to just go with the flow of the lightning training, and was rewarded this time. He had moved a full six inches from where he had last stood. He was making a signifigant improvent. Had he been an academy student, this would have represented a major task for him to learn. Now, he was learning these jutsu in nearly half the time.
[7/11]

Guess what? Dante did another birdsign. Bet you didn't see that coming. When he did his bird sign, he went one and a half feet this time, a major improvement. He smiled, even though he knew he wasn't finished. He knew he was nearing the end, as he always had an intuiion for the end of training a skill. It was as if it were a part of his memory.
[8/11]

Dante did a dragon sign. No, my bad it was really another bird sign. He only moved six inches, but he was surprised he was still able to move at all. He had been going at his Raiton techniques for hours, and he was still able to do this. Just a few more tries, and he'd have it down. He was ecstatic, and not even a nuclear fallout would stop him from learning this damn teleportation jutsu.
[9/11]

Can I just call it a hawk sign? Bird sign is seriously getting annoying. Dante did a hawk sign, and teleported nearly three feet. Not much of an improvement, but it was working it's way along, slow and steady like a train. Eventually the train would pick up speed and be on it's way, however. He had a feeling he only had one or two more attempts before he had this down.
[10/11]

Dante performed a hawk smbol and was surprised. He felt himself being pulled apart, all of his molecules splitting. When he felt himself reassembled, he was on the other side of the room. The teleportation had actually worked! and not just the tiny 3 feet, but the entire width of the classroom at that! Dante was thrilled, and lay down, figuring he deserved a rest.

Dante was nce again looking down the scroll. Training never really got boring to him, even when he was a child. Even when he tried learning a jutsu and failed, he still learned something new from it. He never got discouraged during training, so perhaps this is why he was so persistant while training. He found another chuunin jutsu he figured he might as well learn, this one called 'Dendou Bakuhatsu no Jutsu (Electric Detonation Technique)'. It seemed interesting, so he decided he'd learn this one before asking about some Taijutsu techniques.
[1/11]

First, Dante summoned some electric clones. This was easy enough, as it was a simple technique. He then focused on the chakra he had put into them, and attempted to make them explode. He closed his eyes, making the necessary hand symbols. He felt the power charging up and... They all vanished in a poof of mist. IHe then realized that it was probably due to the fact that he was starting out with trying so many clones. He would try again, and again, and again until he got it.
[2/11]

Dante summoned clones, or rather, a single lightning clone this time. Successful with that jutsu yet again, he concentrated on the chakra he had put into it. He knew that if he got this on only his second try, it would be a miracle. It seemed like a relatively simple technique. He just wanted to see the damn thing explode! It didn't work again however, as the clone dissipated into more mist. If you don't succeed, try try again. He thought to himself as he readied his chakra for another try.
[3/11]

Dante summmoned his lightning clones, taking a good look at them. They all looked exactly like him, except when he looked inside with his byakugan, when they had virtually no chakra inside them. He shrugged it off before backing away. If this worked somehow, He didn't want to be around them when it worked. He concentrated again, envisioning the Clones explode. Once agaiin, poof. A big cloud of mist. He growled in frustration but knew he'd get it down eventually.
[4/11]

Dante called forth his lightning chakra once again, emitting it into the form of a lightning clone. He decided to imbue this one with some of his chakra before making it explode. Once he did that h focusedonce more. This time, instead of a poof of white mist, there was a small spark where the clone had just been. Not much, but an improvement. All he needed was a tiny improvement like that to push him, push him until he could finish the jutsu he wanted to learn.
[5/11]

Dante emitted his chakra once more, and this time instead of one clone, he decided to try it with two clones. If he could do it right once, he could do it right again. He then imbued both of the clones with some of his own chakra, and concentrated on what the explosion would look like. He envisioned it in his mind before doing so, and still only got a little spark. He was not discouraged how ever, as he didn't expect to get this one so soon. He decided to try again, as he always did.
[7/11]

Dante summoned forth one clone this time, deciding if he was going to make real progress, it would be more than likely with one clone at a time. He then Once more sent some of his own chakra arching from him into the empty chakra waves of the lightning clone. He focused once more, trying to rip the clones molecules apart with the jutsu. When he was finished, a small bolt of electricity could be seen. This was a major improvement, And only encouraged him to keep his training up. Usualy major improvement meant the end of training that skill.
[8/11]

Dante summoned yet another lightning clone, which materializd a couple feet away from him. Once this one materialized, he went straight to work once more. He had to get this one down soon, he just had to. He envisioned the molecules bouncing around, suddenly ripping apart in a massive explosion. This time, there was a little mini explosion. This to him, was a better improvement than the lightning bolt even. He knew training this jutsu was nearly at an end, which gave him the drive to finish it up.
[9/11]

Dante focused once more. He knew he had a lot of chakra left in him, so there wasn't much to worry about. He summoned another clone, and tried to detonate it. This time, to his surprise, there was a mediumm sized explosion. A high improvement, but he knew he could do better. He shook himself off before having another, final attempt at the lightning clone detonation technique.
[10/11]

Dante summoned another clone, imbuing this one with more chakra than the others. He just wanted to get this move over with. He envisioned the explosion, and to his surprize, made it happen. There was a large blast of electricity around the clone, and he was confident somebody would have recieved a nasty shock from the explosion.
