It's only the first year and it's general med. science this year. After this semester ends I'll go into a specialty course. I did some of the courses last year since I was on a waiting list. I transferred them over so now I've only got half the load for these past two semesters.

I'm still a little confused... Let me see if I got all this (which I probably don't)...
So you're first year, and your major only requires five courses this year, and only one of each course is taught each semester so you don't get a choice of when to take it?

I'm in college. I'm not majoring in anything I don't think. I'm trying to get a diploma for Medical Laboratory Specialist. To get into that program I need two semesters of first year medical science, which I'm doing now. I did some of the courses in another college last year and I could transfer them over to this program so I don't have to take them twice.

So you're currently an undeclared major, but you want to major as a med lab spec, but the problem has prereqs. Got it now. But why do you not get your schedule?
It's so much easier here, lol.

Speaking of classes, I must attend my Writing Seminar class, so I'll be back 'round sixish.

They only accept two classes of forty every semester, and they simply don't have the room to have multiple classes like that I guess. Or staff for that matter.

You must got to a small school then?

It's larger than my old college but it's smaller than the university nearby, that has different buildings and such all into one. My college is one large building and that's it, and it teaches other programs as well which are separated into 'blocks' of about equal sizes. Medical science programs are all taught in one area which is relatively small.

Ah. Ya, my school is pretty big. We've got several buildings on both the residental and academic sides.

Yeah. So now I guess you know why we have set classes when we register. It's more convenient that way, except for those people like me ^_^;

You know what was unlucky for me? I got AP credit for Calculus I and Calculus II, but neither are requred for my major, lol.
And they were the only AP classes I took in higher, 'cause they were the only ones I kinda figured I would need, lol.

lmao. I did some calculus in my math course last year. Thank God it wasn't very much, or I would have been screwed. I know how to do those questions, but I don't understand the logic behind them ^_^;

Well Calc is pretty hard, lol. I got straight Ds in that class, but I still managed to get a 4 on the AP test somehow, so I've got 8 extra credits already.

I remember my first dose of calc. When the class ended I went to the cafeteria to get something to eat and one of my buddies was there.
Buddy: "So? How did class go?"
Me: "You know everything I've been teaching you about math?" (I was her tutor)
Buddy: "Yeah. Why?"
Me: "It's wrong. It's all wrong."

I know what you mean, lol. Calc screws with your head like that.
You think that's bad though, you should look into Quantum Mechanics, or Superstring theory, lol.

lol No thank you. Just those two weeks of calculus was more than enough for me ^_^;
The prof had to throw it in right at the end of the semester too xd
