Saiya smiled at Grecko. "I would be glad to come back and visit Grecko." She said but her smile was a little sad. Saiya was perfectly aware what the consequences for what she was doing were. Even with Kai's help the odds of her surviving this choice were slim, the only thing she was really fighting for was to survive long enough to get it to someone who could use it. After that she didn't have extreme expectations. But she didn't lie, if she did survive this she would be more than happy to visit Grecko.

Kia's fork hovered above his plate as he saw the sadness in Saiya's eyes. He didn't want to admit to himself what Saiya had already excepted. The task before them would tough, yes. Certainly it would be trying and very dangerous too. But Kai just couldn't give up the hope that somehow, despite all the odds... That he and Saiya might just survive this. Kai finally took another bite of his breakfast. "I'm more then glad to bring Saiya back anytime she wants to come." he stated, smiling as he took a sip of his tea.

Saiya smiled brightly at him as she took a sip and continued eating. "Mmmm maybe Grecko could give me cooking lessons." With a wink at Kai she quickly finished one plate and asked Grecko for more. " I don't remember the last time I ate so much." She laughed.

Grecko happily took Saiya's plate and hobbled off to get her more. "If he does that then we'd have no reason to the house." Kai teased, as he sipped his tea. Laughing Grecko brought Saiya another full plate. "Eat, eat. Grecko happy that food is ate."

Siaya smiled at him. "And Saiya is more than happy to eat it." She answered with a laugh as she dug in. "So how far time wise does this put us back in reaching the festival?" She asked Kai as she took a sip of her tea.

Kai thought for a moment. "Well if we take the tunnel all the way to the canyon... It actually puts us ahead." he stated, taking another bite to finish up his food. "Will skip having to weave through the rift that way."

"So it's a good think that Grecko shot you in the neck with a dart." Saiya teased as she finished up but held up a hand when Grecko reached for her plate. "Gomen but I'm stuffed. One more bite and I might explode."

"I guess so." Kai replied, smiling at her over his tea. "In fact we could be sleeping under the stars on the other side of Sarpe Rift by tonight."

Saiya smirked over her own cup of tea and winked at him. "Yea sleeping." She teased. "Sarpe Rift? That's close to the festival right?" She had remembered mention of it on the flyer.

Saiya set down her empty glass and sighed. "So when do we leave?" She asked him with a note of sadness. This place was quite and peaceful. She could almost imagine just staying here with Grecko and the faeries till this whole thing blew over. Doing that wouldn't be fair though, and would most likely hurt Grecko and the faeries in the end. No it was better if she got the information to someone who could use it to counter act what Global Tech was doing.

"Whenever you're ready." Kai replied, finishing off his tea. "Grecko make food to go! Food yumyum even when on the runrun!" he said, jumping up to hobble quickly around the room to start packing food away in bundles.

Saiya laughed and winked at Kai. "Taste better than whatever he's been feeding me. That's for sure." She teased as she got up from the table and stretched, pulling her short skirt up a little higher. "Need any help Grecko?"

Kai stuck his tongue out at her playfully as he too stood up. "Grecko fine. Grecko know where everything is." he said, his head boobing as he finished wrapping the bundles of food up. "I'd rather eat Grecko's food then mine any day." Kai commented as he stretched.

Smirking Saiya poked him in the tummy as he stretched and laughed. Taking one of the bundles of food she put it in her messenger bag. "Thanks Grecko!" She chirped as she hugged the large creature. "Thanks for everything."
