"Those are great words, Roarke. Now if only there were still people back in out time period that had that kind of wisdom. He's right though, it's all on how you use it." Eiji came up swiftly on her side with his brown hair blowing in the wind. "I guess it's safe to say that we're both in the same boy Sasori, I lost my stone as well, but I believe there is a solution. Do you have the compass and stone on you?" If Eiji was correct in his assumptions, the very guardian who's blood flowed in him was the same as the one in this time period. With the actual host gone, then technically, Eiji could just as easily be the replacement.

Roarke shrugged slightly. "Wisdom is not that impressive, it is what you do with what knowledge you have that makes the difference," he said softly.

Sasori says to Eiji, "you lost your stone? You can't just take the original. What about the original guardians that will need these spark stones. You can have the compass with the compass stone but the spark needs to go to the originals," she said worried.
"Roarke, I hope you are right. I think there is a way to unlock my power by separating it from what is left of Slayer's sword." She pulls out the metal glob of the sword when it was destoyed."

((Holy salmon...I have no clue what is going on, so I'm just gonna jump in, ok? Oh, and Acos is only half angel, btw.))
Acos looked around. She had been in some other land for a while. Or her mind had. "Dude, where are we?" she asked, confused.

"You miss the point, young miss... I have the blood of the guardian from this time flowing in my blood. The would be guardian of this time is... how should i put this. Dead." While riding Eiji goes through the long history that he hoped he would not have to do, explaining to her about how he was part demon/angel and how he practically killed off the angelic race. He then explains on how the demon inside him was expelled and converted to the sword that Skurai wields and that to keep him stable the blood of a fey was given to stabilize his sanity, making him angel/fey. In closing he mentions how he was much older than he seemed and that our presence has completely altered the time flow.
"If I am correct and this is the time period that I think it is, 1099, then the replacing guardian that would wield Kazeshish would be me since, Slayer saw to the early death of ex-wind guardian Vynith." Eiji has a flashback of old man Vynith teaching him about the power of wind and it's connect to earth and the angels. It made him want all the more to stop Tarik and punish Slayer.

Roarke tilted his head. "So you're saying that these talents, this 'guardianship' travels through bloodlines. That would mean that other girl (Elaise) is one of my own ancestors yet to be born, correct?" he said, revealing a wisdom far more unusual. He did not know his own mother was pure Fey, which made Roarke himself half fey, half human.

Eiji turns slightly to answer Roarke's "I'm not saying they are or aren't tied by bloodline. In my case, when Vynith gave his blood to me, he passed down the ownership of the spark stone, like insurance or something. I knew the old man was wise, but to think he probably had this all planned out." He remembered how the books left in the library used to belong to Vynith, well not now since he was killed, but all this was turning out to be for the better as if the deceased guardian knew this was going to happen.

"so how do we know you are to get the stone and there isn't another heir in this era?"

"Then it is possible for this to go through bloodlines, perhaps. Or could it be something more primal, such as soul rebirth?" Roarke said quietly, tilting his head to one side for a moment as his deep blue-gray eyes fixed on the horizon. "There is only one way to know that; find the spark stone," he said to Sasori.

"You are not the only wind guardian in the future. Before we met you, there was Max, who Tarik had killed by the death demon."

Eiji pondered for a moment, this was a good question. Why me, why was I to be given a second chance after losing the very stone that had been passed on to me, scratch that... a third time?. Eiji turns in silence as he thinks on this. Slayer had already screwed up the flow by acting on his own accord and killing Vynith, passing the spark to someone.. or would it. According to Vynith's research on the stones, these stones reacted to the blood their owners, almost like a spiritual connection that would pass on when traces of the essence were gone. With him gone it would seem that the stone would move on, but if me and the ill fated connection we share, then part of Vynith should be in me due to the exorcism. It's a crazy idea, but something crazy was what we're going to need to stop Tarik after how far we're behind. Damn you, brother...
Eiji closes his eyes and stretches out his hand toward Sasori. He was going to attempt to call on the spark stone's power with what little power he had from the fey blood. Guardians of this era only had a little special power since most of it came from its raw essence. Luckily with him being part angel he already had magical power. Hopefully it would react to the signature of Vynith that now was the only source of wind guardian power that he owned.

Roarke inhaled, feeling a pull deep within him. He'd never known his father, but his mother had said he'd inherited his father's looks and intelligence. He didn't notice that the spark stone he had lit up brightly, pulsing slightly as the blue leather-like material crept slowly up to his elbow, gaining a noticeable sheen like sunlight on the waves.
(Think like the way the symbiote did in 'Spider Man 3' but instead of taking over its host, this one bonds gently with it...)

"...yea, now I'm kinda freaked...but then again, I think I got reversed from dark to light, and am not...half-angel or something." Acos said, the last part barely a whisper.

At least you're not half demon, lass, Onyx thought dryly. A slight shrug gave his tone meaning. "Half angel, eh? That I could believe," Roarke said quietly, glancing at Acos.

Acos nodded. "That would be worse than my dad getting angry. And when my dad gets angry, you'll want to run to the naxt country before he blows you up." she said.
