“Okay, good idea,” Kanti agreed. She stretched and gave a wide yawn, showing all her teeth. When she was done she shook her head slightly. “So what shall we do now?” she asked, prancing around the den.

"I have an idea." Sanoskue said mischeiviously, his eyes glowing as he looked at Kanti.

“Oh?” Kanti said, pacing around him. “And what would that be?” she asked, playing along.

Kanti grinned broadly, her tail beginning to wag as well. “Sounds fun,” she teased. Without further hesitation she pounced at her mate, gently nipping his ears and licking his muzzle…

A bit later, Kanti lay sprawled on the floor of the den, panting lightly, her head on Sanoskue’s side. “I think we can assume I’m with pups now,” she chuckled.

Sanoskue smiled at her, licking her muzzle softly, "Yeah, probably." he said, yawning, tired now.

“I love you too Sanoskue,” Kanti whispered as she gently licked his muzzle. “Sleep well.” She yawned again and drifted off to sleep.

Sanoskue woke in the morning with a yawn and a stretch, his stomach growling hungrily. He gently nudged Kanti, "Come on love, it's morning, lets go get something to eat."

Kanti stretched slowly and dragged herself to her feet, shaking once to wake up. “Food sounds good,” she said with a yawn.
