Mairi glanced at the object on the table, not realizing it was a staff and meant for her, before she left the apartment and headed towards the elevator.She'd had enough of stairs for now.Ginhana slipped out the door and walked beside them.She may not actually get into the spring itself, but she didn't feel it was safe to leave Mairi alone.

Raen wasn't surprised when Mairi took the elevator, and mainly so she wouldn't be alone he followed her. He paused momentarily as a very slight frown flickered over his lips as he glanced towards the east, towards the small park they'd passed. He could sense a weak yet malicious darkness there as well as the two odango girls, Usagi and Chibi-Usa, clearly.

Mairi hesitated a second, sensing the same darkness as Raen, before sighing and redirecting towards the stairs "If we're going to help the elevator'll take too long." She picked up to a jog down the stairs, wondering if it was ever possible for those two not to get into some type of trouble.

Raen rolled his eyes. "I swear, they get into more trouble than... me," he sighed with a self-depreciating chuckle. He tilted his head at a low male whisper that made his eyes widen slightly. "I'll slow the darkness down and distract it; I'm sure you can follow my energy," he said in a low voice as he concentrated, focusing a large amount of spiritual energy through his body and over his skin an instant before he vanished with a sound like a whip cracking, unaware his skin had seemingly been ablaze with a silvery aura of lightning as he vanished.

Unable to help herself, Mairi grinned slightly at his comment and continued on down the stairs, watching through her gift where he went.It would take less then five minutes for her to reach him and the girls at a full run.Scooping Ginhana up, she stuffed her unceremoniously into the bag and took off down the street once outside, her eyes wide open now to fully expand her sight.It was a little like vertigo without the spinning.She dodged people calling apologies over her shoulder when she bumped into a few.As she drew nearer, she saw how the smaller of the auras, ChibiUsa's, flickered in fear.

Raen materialized silently as a woman in a black and green bodysuit with pale blue skin and darker blue hair raised her hand towards the horn on her forehead. "Nova Flash!!" he snapped, a flare of light blinding the being as he pushed off, a burning indigo aura flickering around him as he transformed into the same indigo-black body armor he'd worn before, landing a few feet in front of the unconscious Sailor Moon and Chibi-Usa. "W-who are you?" Chibi-Usa squeaked, obviously scared. His hand snapped out as Kougetsui no Kitai ignited and materialized in his hand as he spun it, a momentary maelstrom of indigo-lavender flame flaring around it before dissipating before a beam of golden light hit the ground feet in front of him. "Tasogare no dāku kiri, Kougetsui no Kitai," he whispered as the sword flared silver with black edges before transforming into a large two and a half foot curving scimitar-zanbatou blade with a faintly glowing silver blade and navy-indigo edge to it where it rested over his shoulder. The youma drew the odd horn, revealing the blue energy blade behind it as she sent rippling pulses of energy at them meant to render them unconscious and vulnerable. It struck his armor, sending him stumbling a step back as a shower of brilliant sparks flared, though it didn't really do much damage. He ignored the startled look on Chibi-Usa's face as a whip lashed out at his face, only to get caught and jerked taut before being severed in one quick movement, simultaneously deflecting a blast of black lightning from Petz before both she and Calaveras retreated, snarling for the youma, whom they called Akumuda, to destroy them.

As she drew nearer, a cloak, identical to the one the figure in the mirror was wearing, materialized over Mairi, save this one was silver with multicolored hues when the light hit it at an angle.The hood fell over part of her face, leaving only her eyes in shadow.She was startled, but kept moving.She stopped when she was behind Raen and a little in front of the girls "A friend." She glanced at Chibi-Usa, seeing the cards appear before her before she checked for Usagi's pulse, talking to Raen through their link "I'm going to get these two out of here.It isn't safe for the kid, and Usagi's pulse is a bit erratic...And be careful.." She touched the top of Chibi-Usa's head lightly, giving a gentle smile, and slipped an arm under Usagi's shoulders "I need you to be brave now.Do you think you can do that?"

Raen saw the woman dive towards him, obviously trying to get to Chibi-Usa. "Good idea; I don't know what this woman used on her, but if the kid's empathic, then it could be a nightmare spell," he murmured back as he crouched before pushing off into a sudden back somersault as trailing pulses of energy followed his feet. The first one deflected the stabbing energy blade, while the second caught the youma in the shoulder, arresting her forward momentum as she twisted, trying to evade. Unfortunately as a result it caused the third and final kick to slam straight into her upper back between her shoulders, sending her arcing upward before slamming hard into the concrete around the gazebo and small nearby garden. She swiftly rose again, firing a sonic pulse of energy that slammed into not only him in a blast of sparks, but also the ground, which imploded in a gust of flame though fortunately the trio that included Mairi were mostly protected. "Akuryo Taisan!!" Sailor Mars snapped, hurling a ofuda that hit the woman squarely between the eyes. She snarled, reaching up to grab it and tear it away though it wasn't easy as evidenced by her struggling to move. She managed to jerk it off as Raen went to tackle her and immediately dissolved into a stream of smoke. "Shōton: Suishō Rō," he snapped as the smoke aimed for Usagi, only to end up encased in a foot wide sphere of pale blue crystal that was obviously dense as it sealed itself as the smoke streamed into it then tried to escape as if realizing something was wrong. "Bakuton: Jiraiken," he snapped as he pushed off, hovering momentarily above the crystal sphere as it receded from Mairi, Usagi, and Chibi-Usa. He dropped down in a somersaulting hammer fist that cracked the crystal before it exploded in a blast of smoke and crystalline dust, a echoing shriek cutting off almost immediately as the youma was destroyed.

Kitai blinked where she hovered above the pool that represented the merged physical and spiritual power within Raen-sama, a thin beam of prismatic teal energy bathing her and ensuring a strong connection when the beam pulsed a brilliant blue as she sensed a very slight if momentary change in the energy as she glanced down, seeing her counterpart below her pulling back his hand; he was inhumanly beautiful in a primal way with shaggy dark blond hair streaked with red, orange, and black that fell halfway down his muscular back. His crystalline amber-crimson eyes met her navy ones as he pushed off, landing on the side of the pool in his knee high black boots with open toes and dark blue cargo pants. He wore a dark purple-indigo jacket with billowing sleeves that tucked into his forearm length steel backed black fingerless gloves. He had a deep burnt orange shirt on beneath the jacket. She didn't know his name, but he was obviously powerful and keenly aware of what was happening outside the soulscape within Raen-sama's mind.

Mairi managed to move the two girls away from the fight and out of sight of Raan and the other Sailors.She'd been hit a few times, using herself as a shield when Raen failed to deflect a few attack, but ignored it as she looked over Usagi.She touched the girl's forehead lightly, the mark on her own glowing with a blinding brilliance as she broke whatever connect there was to her and the youma's power before it was destroyed.She focused her gift on Chibi-Usa, slightly startled to find the girl's aura trembling, as if she were crying.Letting out a tired sounding sigh, she pulled the girl into her lap and sat with her, keeping up a constant link between her own energy and Usagi's until someone came to get them.She idly wondered what had happened to Ginhana and her bag.

The group watched in the pale silvery pool that made Mairi's dream scape.It was considerably smaller than Raen's on first glance, but it was unfathomably deep.Somehow, she had yet to be able to access them at will, but they could now speak to her in whispers.The oldest, a man so old he was bent, peered through the pool, his pale eyes nearly the same color Mari's had been before she'd gone blind "She's beginning to understand now."

Sailor Mercury had noticed Chibi-Usa's reaction to the stranger's appearance. It was clear the young girl recognized him, if not liked him. "How do we know you aren't with them, manipulating her into giving up so you can give her to them?" Sailor Jupiter snapped suspiciously.

Raen tilted his head slightly. "You don't, but then... we wouldn't be defending them if we had reason to manipulate them even to let their guard down," he said dryly as he shrugged, the massive sword disappearing in a swirling gust of indigo-lavender flames as he pushed off, vanishing in mid-air in a burst of air that sounded like a firecracker detonating. He let the transformation fade away as he materialized a few feet from the edge of the park, snickering as he saw Ginhana trying to drag the bag behind her. "Come on, Airashī Ginbikusen," he said with amusement, scooping the vixen up into his arms. Sailor Mars grimaced; the power swirling around the stranger was warm, yet at the same time wary and slightly unforgiving.

Mairi used the same trick on Chibi-Usa that she'd used on the female clerk and put her to sleep.When she did, the cloak faded into a vapor, leaving her looking completely normal, if not a little tired.She hiked Usagi onto her back and picked up the Chibi-Usa and made her way back to the park acting for all the world that she'd found them asleep in the alley.She heard Raen and hid a snort, waiting until he'd vanished before setting the pair down on one of the benches where they'd easily be found before joining him.She raised an eyebrow at Ginhana in Raen's arms "Where'd you disappear to?" Ginhana glared silently, and turned away, deliberately ignoring her.Mairi frowned slightly and picked up the bag, she seemed to have a knack for making that fox mad lately.

Sailor Mercury blinked as she noticed the duo from earlier that day through the trees. Sailor Jupiter apparently heard the low crackling before darting towards where Usagi and Chibi-Usa were. "Are they okay?" she said sharply.

Raen cocked an eyebrow at Sailor Jupiter, glancing up and down her body like he'd never seen her before. "Did you wake up on the wrong side of the bed this morning?" he said with amusement, scratching Ginhana behind the ears gently. From the way the Jovian Senshi spluttered, blinking at him as if caught off guard, she hadn't expected his response at all.

Mairi smacked Raen's arm lightly "Be nice." She turned her head slightly, keeping her eyes closed "They seem to be just sleeping.I couldn't feel any bumps or scrapes, so other than being out of it, they're fine as far as I can tell." She felt the other Senshi draw closer.Their auras also burned a little bright the closer they came.

Sailor Mercury exhaled, looking relieved. "That's good," she said with a relieved tone. Sailor Jupiter frowned slightly, wary of their intentions.

Raen snickered at Mairi's reaction, shifting his arm. "How did you come by here?" Sailor Mars said in a cautious but friendly tone. Raen shrugged. "We were just passing by on sheer dumb luck, though I did see someone in a beautiful silver cloak drop those two... then she was gone," he said wryly with a slight sigh. He suspected Mairi would realize he hadn't just found the cloak beautiful, but also the person beneath the cloak. He strode past Sailor Mercury, scooping up his bag which he'd left leaning against a bench a few yards away.

Mairi lowered her head slightly, using her bangs to hide her face as she flushed slightly in embarrassment "I hope they turn out to be fine, but you may want to have them looked at just in case." She gave a tiny nod and headed after Raen.She kept her face hidden, and kept silent.He'd caught her completely off guard with that comment.
