((I like bad things happening to my favorite characters, but I think the difference with me is I like the characters getting over it more than Harry did. XD;;; Emo is all good and all, but Harry was a tad extreme for my tastes.
I think Hagrid's brother is cute too. ^^;; Haven't actually *seen* him yet, but the way he acts is cute.))
Jounouchi rose an eyebrow. Getting along? It seemed to him that they were doing just the opposite at the moment... she shook, his head with a sigh, assuming Malik had taken the stupid cata comment as a compliment. Great.
Honda blinked, quite taken aback by the question. He remembered what Jounouchi had said, wondering how Otogi had caught on, "U-um, yeah, of course!" he quickly replied, "You planning on giving it to me?" he stepped down from the DDR pad.
((XD He would. And OMG that's creepy! My cat does the EXACT SAME THING!! XD You know how when snakes squeeze their prey to kill them, they wait for the other animal to breathe in, then the snakes tighten their grip so the animal can't breathe back out? Well when my cat does that it reminds me of that, because sometimes instead of plain-out kicking me off the pillow, she'll keep one of her legs pushed against my head, resting there in a way, but then when I shift slightly away from her leg, down the pillow, she'll push it further so it's pressing just as much against my head as it had been, so now I can't move back up. She'll gradually do that until I'm stuck off the pillow. XD Clever thing she is...))

Jounouchi went quiet, looking down at the noodles with a frown before following Malik into the living room, "I'm not sure..." he sighed, breaking a pair of disposable chopsticks to use.
Honda gave off a light, hardly-noticeable pout, "Well, in all honesty this isn't for myself, so I'm really not willing to do that much..." he replied.
((The slightest movement by myself will alert my cat and apparently means I want to pet her, because she'll start walking around (stepping on my hair in the process) and meowing in my ear... ~_~))

Jounouchi quickly began slurping at his noodles, not seeming to mind that they hadn't completely cooled down yet. A bit of broth splashed onto his face as he slurped them up, but he didn't even notice, "Of course..." he replied, "That's why we gotta get rid of him instead of just get him to leave us alone." he nodded wisely, giving Malik a confident wink. "It'll all be okay in the end."
Honda blinked in utter surprise at having Otogi's phone shoved in his face. He stared at the numbers, quickly trying to memorize them, since this was most likely some trick on Otogi's part, "So wait... you want *me* to call Mai...? That's not why I want the number..." he pointed out. He was sure Otogi knew this.
((Well, anyway, I think I'm gonna be off now. Good night!))

Jounouchi huffed, "You can't say that for sure! I've beat up loads of guys who looked stronger than me! Besides, that probably won't have much to do with getting rid of him. He's kind of like a-" Jounouchi shivered slightly, "-a ghost in a way, right...? It's not like Rishid really tried to get rid of him in the first place. He just kept him asleep, am I right? We gotta now get rid of him for good." he nodded.
Honda's face flushed, "Y-you jerk! Who says I'm trying to get into bed with anyone?!" he shouted, earning many stares from random people. "Unlike you I respect women." he huffed, "And I'm not at all interested in Mai anyway. She's too old." he threw in. "I just want her number in case we need to get in touch some time. We are friends afterall."

Jounouchi took another large slurp of noodles, "Yeah, I guess..." he replied, "But if that's true, then why did you leave Rishid in the first place? Why didn't you bring him here with you? He would probably be a lot of help, or at least some. I wanna duel him again too." he chuckled. He had never felt like that duel between them in Battle City had been well, right... he really respected Rishid as a duelist, and he certainly would've lost to the guy if Malik hadn't interferred. Of course, Jounouchi was thankful for that, but still... he wanted to prove that he could beat Rishid with his own skill now...
The blond blinked when he realized his mind was going off topic. He coughed, "Anyway, guess that's not the point. The point is that even though Rishid isn't here, I am, and I promise I'll do anything I can to get rid of your other self and to protect you. I'm here for you." he nodded as he sipped at some broth.
"Not all women want that you pervert..." Honda twitched. There was now a large crowd gathering around them, "And older women can hook up with older men. Not every women is going to come swooning at your feet, begging you to love them." he looked up thoughtfully, "Maybe that's why you like Shizuka Chan so much, because she's one of the only girls you're attracted to that isn't attracted to you back..."
((Hmmm... while I don't agree with his views about age, I can kind of see Honda being a bit old-fashioned in that aspect, where couples shouldn't be more than five years apart or so, especially when one is legally an adult and the other is not. What do you think?))

And by they way, El Chupacabre is one of the main characters, and he has this... "thing" to him that makes him irresistable to most women and even some straight men, so he goes around sleeping with every woman he finds, justifying himself by saying it makes them happy, and saying he exists to please women. XD))
"You can't be independent until you've gotten rid of your other self..." Jounouchi mumbled. He looked up at Malik seriously, putting his cup of noodle down on the coffee table, "I think right now, even if Rishid didn't seem to be doing anything to stop the hauntings, you could really use his support at least. I mean... did you at least feel a little better when he was around? He's really important to you, right? You can't just go off on your own with all of this going on... even if he can't really do anything to stop this all, and even if I can't... the support of people you're close to is important, isn't it?"
"It is better to think things through before just going on instinct." Honda huffed, "And I'm not juding Mai as a person because she's older, but that doesn't mean I'm interested in her! Mai's a great person and a great duelist, but I don't have any interest in older women, especially since she's an adult and we're not." he glared, "And I am familiar with both you and Shizuka Chan! I've known her longer than you have and I've known you longer than she has. You could even say I introduced you two." he huffed, "Though I never should've..." he mumbled under his breath, even though he knew there really was nothing he could've done to prevent the two from meeting.
((Yeah, I agree with you. While I don't go completely with the law, like that an 18-year-old can't date a 17-year old (I'm completely fine with that, even though it is illegal), I do think maturity does have a lot to do with it. But even something like a 20-year-old with a 15-year-old I could support as long as the 15-year-old was more mature than average, mature enough to be with someone of that age... and to make proper decisions of course! But that's few and far between, so overall I can accept the no adult with a minor thing. Besides, if two people are truly in love, they can wait until they're older, right? ^^))

((There really isn't much yuri in it... the occasional thing, but the two main girls are usually hero and sidekick instead. XD It's more comedy and character-driven than romance-driven. (it concentrates a lot on the other characters besides the two main girls) *shrugs* If you're not interested that's fine, but if you have some extra time it might be something you'd wanna take a look at. ^^))
Jounouchi sat there awkwardly, blinking a couple of times. He quickly looked away, picking his noodles back up and slurping some more broth. He hadn't known that Malik had had any interest in Rishid like... that... made things seem even more awkward now... but he quickly decided to bring another subject back up that Malik had strayed from, "You say your dueling strategy is different compared to Isis' and Rishid's... I've never dueled you... well as in actually *you,* but your deck is pretty different... but Rishid's and Isis' seemed pretty unique also... I mean, Rishid's was almost completely traps and Isis had that whole graveyard swap thing going on... maybe you guys are just all weird with your dueling styles." he laughed, hoping the previous subject about Rishid was good and gone now.
((I can totally see Rishid being like Mori! XD Maybe that's why I like Rishid so much? o.o Mori's my favorite character. <3
And don't worry, we've already discussed Ruseshipping, remember? ^^ I don't like it in general, but you explained to me the way you tend to see it, with the whole little crush thing on Malik's part and Rishid just does what he says but it never goes further, and I told you that I thought that was an interesting way of looking at it and I could see that happening, so I'm perfectly fine with you including it in the RP. ^^))

((Yeah, teenage love is usually just idiotic, hormone-driven youths confusedly mistaking lust for love. That's why it's often so immature and fragile, but just because the majority of teenage love is like that, I still don't want to put down all minor couples, because I'm sure there are some more mature and sincere ones out there. Guess I just don't like to generalize...))

"That'd be really cool to watch you two duel." Jounouchi said with a grin and a nod, "I really liked the way Rishid dueled though. It was so different it took me off guard, and was definitely challenging. Now I can't wait till summer; I wanna see him again." he said impatiently as he finally finished his noodles, "So even if he wants to stay in Egypt, it's good that he's visiting you." he then blink as he realized something, "I do wanna duel him again, but you're okay with that right? Or do you want me to leave you guys alone when he visits?"
((He doesn't mean that suggestively at all just... he doesn't wanna but in if they have a lot to talk about or something. XD;; And lawl Rishid and Jounouchi fighting over who gets to protect Malik.))

((There's a lot of different ways to address someone's father... "Otou San/Chan" are probably the most common, though there's also Chichi Ue, Chichi Oya, Oyaji (which is what Jounouchi calls his dad, and is equivilant to "Old Man"), Tou Chan, Otou, etc. I'm not sure how Otogi addresses his father, though I could try to look it up... if anything I can dig out my old DVDs; I'm sure he calls him father in there at least once, right?
And that's funny, because I don't really like Tamaki, so I guess we're kind of even. XD (he's cute sometimes, but his shallow, homophobic, and sexist attitude really pisses me off) But I like Hikaru and Nekozawa a lot. <3
Don't worry, you don't seem too controlling. XD Actually, I kind of like it more when other people step upto the bat in RPs. I prefer to be the follower and let the other person/people direct the plot. ^^
Yeah, it sounds like you guys are on of the few mature-yet-young relationships out there that actually stand a chance of lasting. That's something you should be very proud of. ^^))
