Gears of War - Defending Jacinto (Finished)

[Zahzi]

Another round went right above his head, going through James' cover.  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"Oh come on!!" James whimpered, now just laying on the ground for cover. "Can we spend less time trying to kill me and more time finding the idiot?!"  

[Zahzi]

"Naro's doing that~"  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"Don't search parties usually have more than one person?!"  

[Zahzi]

"...You realize he's a ******** army, right..?"  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"When it comes to fighting, yes. But this is a search and rescue party for a soldier who's MIA right now. You don't just send one man."  

[Zahzi]

"I'm a sniper, meant to KILL people, not find them...And you're a bomber, so go ahead and stand up...Yeah...Go look for her..." Frederick said, reloading the rifle and waiting.  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"Only if you promise not to shoot me."

"And TECHNICALLY you FIND then KILL people..."

For Naro, there wasn't much sign or clue of Soqed. The streets remained empty as they were. Further down though there was an oddity.
An emergence hole that was left wide open, yet no Locust were flooding out.  

[Zahzi]

"...s**t!" Naro yelled, running towards it.

Frederick made no response.  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"Got ya there didn't I?"

Close to the edge of the hole there seemed to be broken pieces of something.
An ear piece.  

[Zahzi]

Naro had already jumped in when he saw the hole. He knew what had happened...

Still no response.  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"...You're standing right behind me aren't you..?"

After only a few yards the hole turned sharply at an angle, still going only deeper underground. Further down along the tunnel it began to split off in three with no obvious trail as to where Soqed may have ended up.  

[Zahzi]

"Which way you going?" Frederick said, appearing behind Naro. He left James behind.

"Left..."

"I'll go right then." he said as they went in their directions.  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"....Oh I just know they're going to yell at me later..." James growled, only now realizing what was happening as he stood up and began to ran after them.

"...Alright, which one do I get?" He groaned, standing at the entrances to the tunnels.  

[Zahzi]

"Center."
