The honey itself didn't wasn't enough, it seemed. Not to end this trial in her young life. This assignment seemed to vex the young fluffy witch and she moved on from the sweet confection to the larvae instead. She had been reduced to eating bugs.

At least they were gummi and chewy. Actually, they tasted rather nice.

All this eating - and sobbing - didn't seem to be helping her badassery levels. In fact, they seemed to be going down.

Well cheering didn’t work. “Maple! Just go kill the stupid bees and take their Jacken Honey.” It was frustrating to even watch her.

Maple really was on the verge of smashing her head against the hive again when she heard that familiar voice again. Okay, that was what she was more used to coming out of Andrew's mouth. Those were those weird roundabout words of encouragements which were really more like insults.

Oddly enough, she could feel her badass levels rising again.

Well, Andrew's crass words seemed to do a good number on her. Yeah, those levels were rising once again. She still wanted to cry and hide into a hole, but she felt... a little better.

Her need for honey didn't seem quenched though. And Maple began to work diligently at eating the remaining bits of honey that seemed in her path. Honestly, she didn't like the feeling because it just seemed like so much food to consume but otherwise it seemed the needed thing to do to raise her badass levels and collect the honey that would be needed to the next portion of the class.

Bit by bite... she ate. Finally, feeling full and probably a little more so than she would have liked. Maple wobbled, pulling herself away. She blinked, unsure of the feeling. One one hand she felt amazing, like really for the first time amazing.

But really, mostly what she wanted to do was find the floor. She took a few trots towards the desks and did just that.

“It’s about time Maple! Jack you take forever.” He didn’t really mind but he was giving the ghoul some recognition.

His attention turned back to Olivia who seemed happy and proud of herself. She even smiled at him, well he assumed that doggy face was a smile. Were they dogs? Everyone one was… no. No they were not dogs! Nope not dogs. Andrew forced himself to breath. They were puff balls fire foxes. Firefoxes were not dogs. Besides he was badassed. Even if they were dogs he was too cool for that.

Still laying down Andrew squirmed across the desk, tail still clinging to his back, and put a paw on Olivia. She suddenly looked sick. “You ok?”

The smoke roused Efflo from his sleep, apparently he hadn't really fainted, he was just taking a super badass nap. Feeling renewed, he jumped at the hives again; HONEY!

As he dug through the honeycombs for precious honey, the bees went crazy. But in didn't matter, he was a badass honey badger foxfire, nothing was going to stop him now. Especially not a few measly little stings, ha!

Awww yea, they'd all done it. That rather cheerful voice in his head told him much success was had. His fluffy little tail was wagging a bit as Olivia joined them in their lounging among the desks as the last of he students were working on the badassery. He was working on licking some of the remaining honey from his fur, quite used to the habit. Cleanliness was important even for the honeyfoxes that they were. You couldn't look epic as you kicked insect butt if you were a mess.

A few more licks and a few stingers pulled out later and he felt at least a bit more redeemable as he stood and shook himself a bit. He gave a small nod to Olivia before casting an every disapproving look at the small before beast before noticing that Miasma was laying off a bit and looked... rather... sick. he cocked his head to one side before prancing over and doing about the worst thing he could to the girl most likely, but he always had been a bit blunt. "...you look like you ate too much." Which might as well have been saying she looked fat. But honestly, the ghoul of a foxfire looked like she might burst. His face really did say he couldn't believe she was in such a state.



Oh, and yes, his voice was still just that squeaky and glorious. That foxfire voice, it was so yappy. Well they all were.

If you can stand, smacking him might be a proper response. Or tears. Laughter at the squeaky foxfire voice works too.

...But apparently he'd become a little too overconfident, a little too badass, if that were even possible. Suddenly the stings turned from annoying, ignorable pinpricks, to jabbing sears of pain. Ouch, ouch, ouch!

But a honey badger wouldn't care about the pain, no! A honey badger would persevere and defeat his enemies! And that's just what Efflo did, batting away the little stinging gnats while he continued his conquest for the delicious golden nectar that was honey.

All the little foxfire got in response to the challenge was a happy pat on the head. Good job, little foxfire, good job. Jove moved past the little one, and knelt down to try his own luck with the bees.

Jove's first two attempts yielded no success, and he was feeling no more badass than usual. It seemed quite the reverse, when surrounded by little foxfires instead of other students, the pup was calmer than usual. He paid the stinging on his hand no mind.
