Haha Ketz and I were actually talking about this, and I knew he was already taken, he's just too cool to not be taken. Besides I would be too afraid to play him and screw him up. I'll have to go figure out who to play then XD

Experience is the only way to do it, but I think no matter what no one will play someone to perfection, (Though if I do remember a conversation, you play him well) but that's okay because sometimes it just works in certain rps. You could ask Ket...(I don't know what to call you!! Anymore) But she will let you know that I can sometimes play characters way off *coughSakkacough* T___T sorry if it bothers you woman!! But you don't seem to complain, at least Zuko doesn't. I promise I'll try to stay close enough if I ever get a character!! Promise!

That's true, I think that's what I was mostly worried about joining the guild, because I try to please people, even if I know for sure I can't please everyone. So yea, I agree with you to know the character enough that people know who the heck you are, but to have fun with it and don't freak out about it. XD unless they are really out of character? Like...Kaiba not being an a**. (Alternate universe perhaps?)

I think Kaiba would also be content being paired with the god cards. People seen the new Abridged episodes yet? "Summonitsummonitsummonitsummonit... finally, geeze!"

@Karma: You can call me Kitsune or Ketz or whatever. XD I prefer not to have my real name said online too much, but just whatever is most normal.
And you don't play Sokka waaaay off. XD;; You just... give him some interesting fetishes, mostly. Zuko complains, but he complains about everything, so that's okay.
There's still a lot of male characters available in the RP like Bakura, Honda, and Otogi. But Mai and Shizuka are awesome too.

@JK: Yeah, I think there really just needs to be a balance... throw some of your own flavor into a character, but still keep them recognizable. Part of the fun of roleplays is that you put characters in scenarios that they never experienced in their series, so then as the roleplayer, you get to use your knowledge of the character's personality to come up with how they would react to these new scenarios.

@Karma: I think that if Kaiba grew up without losing his parents and being adopted by Gouzaburo, he would be much less of an a*****e. Not completely nice or anything, but things would be better at least.
People always seem to get off topic in this guild, then wonder if that's okay. XD So yes, it is. I see no fun in restricting our conversations to the topic, so as long as the thread remains a place where people can still post on topic at the same time, then there's no problem with rambling about different things.

@JK: Drunk Kaiba was made of awesome and win.
I'm starting to consider putting it in the rules that it's okay to get off topic... because people seem to always think the opposite.
I think Mai would be more fun in the roleplay, though I like Shizuka better as a character, and Jounouchi would be happy to have his sister on. So both are good characters in my opinion!

Haha, Yes!! Mokubamobile!! I posted about it on the TAS thread, taking advantage of an opportunity to be on topic for once. It also came up on the lie games thread too. And yes, God cards, how could I forget that one?

Well glad my Kaiba meets the all mighty guild leaders approval at least, hahaha. But yea trying to fit established elements into unknown scenarios is basically how I'd like to tackle roleplaying. I mean getting in character is a bit of the point right? haha. I really started to like drunk Kaiba, sobering him up is almost kind of sad.

I have probably gone well beyond 3 pages, it's just in the guild there are so many different threads to divide up my attention. And I've been fairly good at staying concise thus far.

I guess I'm just saying it could be argued that while Kaiba was still a quiet, serious kid, he seemed a lot sweeter when he was in the orphanage with Mokuba than he was after being adopted, because of how horrible his stepfather was. The anime really expanded on this in the Virtual World Arc.

@Karma - And the record for getting kicked out of the guild in the quickest amount of time goes to...hehe, j/k. I'd have set that record within my first post I think. I need to rewatch TAS too, ahh where is my freetime?!

@Kits - Oh so pplebees isn't on the table? J/k...when I first saw that I thought she called you Applebees, and that totally made sense to me stressed . Maybe drunk Kaiba will come back again someday, haha. And yes, must inflate ego...must build statue of Jou in a dog suit - does it have to be gold though? I don't really like gold. I think it should be marble.
