Rini ambled through the Academy, humming softly to herself as she peeked into various classrooms. The place was depressingly empty of promise, and she was about to give up -- her curiosity disappointed, yet sated -- when she arrived at the final room and spotted the pair within. Bingo. As the teacher lowered his attention to make a note on the papers before him, she stepped into the room and ambled silently over to the desk to peer over his shoulder at the words scrawled neatly in black ink. "Bounty Hunter and Puppet Master, eh? Interesting combination."

A grin spread across her face as the chuunin teacher jolted violently away from her in surprise, an errant mark smearing ink across the page. "L-Lady Rini! What are you -- ah -- is there something I can help you with?"

Rini plucked the paper from the desk and waved it lightly at him. "This. I'll be taking them off your hands for the time being."

The man licked his lips almost nervously, glancing down at her slightly-bulging stomach. "Are you sure that's --er-- wise in your present--?" His words fell short at a sharp glare and pulse of killing intent from the pregnant jounin before him. "Ahem. Of course. Yes. They're all yours." The man nodded to her and quickly scurried from the room.

Rini turned to face the pair, her annoyance bleeding to amusement as her lips took on an almost feral tilt. "So, you want to be Kiri-nin, eh? You think you have what it takes?"

Lars now looks over to Rini, an interesting woman who apparently was very well-known in Kiri since the teacher was showing high respect to her, his look to her was that of a confident one not to be mistaken with one of arrogance or cockiness, not actually paying attention to her stomach though did notice it when she entered, "yes ma'am, yes I do."

If not, I'll teach you, if you so desire." He wasn't sure if this was the correct way to connect with the village -- but he decided that, he might as well. And hey, it wouldn't be so bad. He needed to get out more, anyways. Having no friends was, after all, pretty gloomy.

Lars then moved his gaze over to Kleine as he made his way inside, he smiled a little to what he said about his specialty but shook his head to having the knowledge of the three basic techniques of a shinobi,"no sir, it doesn't matter if you or she teaches me, just as long as I get taught, I don't care how."

As he quickly remembered the basics of the techniques -- techniques he had not used in a long time, despite their practicality -- he slowly and elaborately went over them. ''The first is Bunshin no Jutsu. Or rather, clone technique. It creates a mirror image of one's self or someone they are thinking of -- though it is only illusion, thus carries no physical properties. Its only real use is for distraction, other than that, it's completely useless, and I don't see why people even bother to teach it."

''The next technique is Kawarimi no Jutsu, or, in english words, substitution technique. It's actually extremely useful -- one of the best techniques there is, and for only a small amount of chakra. I recommend using it wisely, however, as it cannot be used more than three times per match. Also, it can only teleport you to a distance of ten feet, so it cannot be used to escape from large blasts or anything of that sort."

''And finally, the last is transformation technique, also called Henge no Jutsu by the natives -- which I am not one of, so I stick to the English version. This allows you to transform into... well, anything, though your properties do not change. It, too, is simply an illusion. All three of these techniques involve thinking of an object in some way. The first involves thinking of an object and then fabricating it from energy. The second involves thinking of a nearby object and then switching places with it. The third involves thinking of an object and then using an illusion to turn yourself into it. Each technique shouldn't be too hard, I learned them when I was five years old in a few minutes."

Lars nods to each jutsu that was shown to him and he starts on them all:

Lars makes the appropriate hand seals for Bunshin no Jutsu, he then concentrated chakra in order to make a parfect copy of himself. A poof of smoke rose up from the ground and there stood a defective clone with a derpy look on his face, he grunted and then poofed away.

Lars tried again, doing the same motions as what he did before, making the appropriate hand seals, concentrating chakra, all of it, only this time, he imagined and focused on a perfect clone appearing right beside him. A cloud of smoke rose up beside him and there stood a perfect clone of Lars.
Bunshin no Jutsu Learned

Lars then began on Kawarimi no Jutsu, he focused on a nearby chair and made the proper hand seals for the jutsu. After concentrating his chakra and focusing on the chair, a cloud of smoke covered him though when it cleared the chair wasn't there and it seemed that Lars was caught underneath it.

He tried again, after getting himself out from under there, he made the proper hand seals for the jutsu and focused on another chair nearby, he imagined it appearing right here and he would be over there. The cloud of smoke rose over him and moved him into the place where the chair was and the chair had moved to where he was.
Kawarimi no Jutsu Learned

Finally, he worked on Henge no Jutsu, he formed the appropriate hand seals for the jutsu and focused on Kleine, every detail and every feature he had. A cloud of smoke covered him and shifted his body, when he emerged from it, he looked like Kleine but had bug eyes and big "Jimmy Carter" lips, he sighed and transformed back.

He then tried again, forming the hand seals for Henge no Jutsu and then focused on Kleine. He imagined an exact replica of him, his eyes closed to add a better effect. He concentrated his chakra around him and noticed the cloud of smoke rise over him and enshroud him. He emerged himself from the smoke cloud and looked like an exact replica of Kleine, he smirked and transformed back to himself.
Henge no Jutsu Learned.

"good?" he said as he looked to Kleine.

''Oh. Hello there. New student?" He was oddly refreshed to see all of the people in the room... it wasn't such a bad feeling. However, he still expected only the best from them. Only perfection. And nothing less. The boy that had entered, however, looked alot like himself, in a way, even to the point of passing for one of his countrymen. He must've been from the Castel. And it wasn't so bad to meet one of the Castellans here.

Nodding to Lars as he saw him finish, he struck a slight smile as he looked over to Rini. ''Pass him a headband, ne?"

"Yes, I'm new here" Ko'ori said. "So are you the teacher here or what?" Ko'ori asked, eying the man carefully. He didn't look much like the locals, with his vivid blonde hair and beautiful skin.

Rini smiled and inclined her head to Kleine. "Alright. Thank you. I'm sure they'll do well under your caring hand." A smirk flickered across her lips as she glanced toward the door. She waved the newest student in -- what was it with blondes today? -- and set to work finding a hitai-ate for Lars. "Looks like you've got a full team now. Aha! Found it!" The woman straightened and tossed a brand new forehead protector at the newly-made genin. "Congrats, and welcome to the ranks."

Before she could say anything more, a large, golden-brown blur shot into the room through a window with a shriek. Rini smiled and extended an arm for her golden eagle as it flared its wings and swerved toward her. "Found her, boy? Good job!" She stroked his feathers before retrieving the message tied to his leg. With a flip of her wrist, she unfurled it and scanned its contents.

"Perfect! I'll find the kid and let him know. I think I saw him at the palace." Rini moved to the window and released Aki back outside. She glanced at Kleine and offered a playful salute as she passed him, heading toward the door. "Good luck, and I know the new ones can be rather . . . squishy, but try not to kill them, ne?" With that -- and a laugh -- she was gone.

LLars nodded to Rini as he received his headband and tied it around his neck, he then cracked his neck and then his knuckles, he gave a salute to her as she left and then turned to Kleine.

Now that Lars has learned his three basic techniques, why don't the three of us train elsewhere? This place is so... crowded, and I'm a bit of a claustrophobe." Grabbing another headband from the drawer, he held it in his hand for when Ko'ori would need it. ''To both of you, my name is Kleine Heiland. I am a sannin of the grass village, though I am here to become an active part of the mist village. Hopefully, that happens, though I can only be skeptical of it. Lars, now that you're a Gennin, care to join us? Or are you eager to go home and tell the fami- err, tell your friends, I mean." He tried not to bring up the subject of "families" here, as many people did not have one. And his own was not so reliable, so he knew it was a touchy subject. However, to be frank, he didn't really care how they felt, he just didn't want things to become too awkward. And similar to what Rini was thinking, he found it kinda funny how all four people present had the same shade of hair. Not even in his homeland did this occur. But it was kind of cute that, in such a place as this, it did.
