That does make more sense than my theory, which was the resurrecion being equivalent to immediate bankai and Ulquiorra was just godmodding the Hell out of everyone.
Considering that it seems the arrancar and espada typically fight without their zanpakuto's drawn to start with, drawing the swords seemed to make them stronger - shikai. Transforming would be bankai.
My (hopeful) theory would be that if a shinigami were to turn into an arrancar, after the resurrecion, they could use shikai and bankai without the significant reiatsu release. It would just be a change in fighting formation and abilities, not the gigantic power upgrade.
I don't know.

Hn... Well, they are created to be stronger than shinigami, initially. Though, Shinigami have their Kidou and such like Arrancar have their ceros. And anyone's stronger once they have their blades drawn... Plus- isn't it their transform when Arrancar draw their blades?

I needs to start getting back on school schedule here, soon. I've only got a few weeks left...
Maybe we should type up a Bleach guide thingy, or something xD

I remember though, that Arrancar could fight with their zanpakuto before they transformed. They too, much like shinigami, had a verbal release to transform. The example I'm thinking of with the most clearly shown would be Starrk. He was sword fighting with Shunsui while Lilinette was learning to fight with Ukitake. It wasn't until he released the verbal seal that she became the guns in Starrk's resurrecion.

Hn... I'd have to reread that to quite think it through right now xD
Starrk is a higher Espada, though... Plus, they were different, since he and Lilinette were one in the same being, though she was more of his 'zanpakuto'...

I think now's about time for me to go to bed before my head explodes. Maybe I can think it over some more tomorrow...

I would like to see your art Bonbon, no need to feel shy in this thread, we appreciate all forms of art :3
And I never have the patience for animations, those posted up are gorgeous!
I do random commissions (see signature), I feel that if you don't have a set price then you can just let the customers pay whatever they feel the art piece is worth. I find it fair, even though I know I might very well get scammed that way. But really, I do commissions just as an excuse to practice drawing, so it doesn't really matter how much gold I get for it. It seems, however, that the art market prices have inflated horribly, can't get decent art for less than 100k it seems (unless you're really lucky). Though this also means I get paid more for the comissions I do, yay.
And that is some fabulous art Talon! Mind giving me a link to the artist's shop? I would definately pay 75k for something like that >3<
I'm really a horrible art whore, always have been. I have a gallery with over 150 pieces of art I've commissioned and gotten for free or through art trades. I've probably spent at least a million gold and countless hours on that collection.

Yeah, art prices have really inflated, it's true. >: Some of my friends keep telling me to raise my prices more, but like... I always feel bad whenever I do. TT wTT;;;; 'Cause it's not like I really need gold or anything. D: And like you said, Mou, I do it mostly for practice.
On the other hand, if I have them too low then there seems to be an increased number of people who don't read the rules/etc. x .x And I also hope that having high Gaia prices might encourage people to RL commish me. Maybe.
I dunno though. I'm never sure what to do and I'm always scared I'm charging too much. j wj ;;; On the other hand, there are still people who pay high prices and I've seen people pay pretty incredible amounts for art. x .x;;
I'm going to start a new freebie thread with my friend soon though. Those are pretty fun. ^^ And seems to help relieve some of the guilt of having high shop prices... TT wTT;;;

Ah yes, I've done a few auctions and those always stress me out a lot. I prefer doing cheaper comissions instead, in that way there's less pressure on me to draw something amazing xD
Freebies are more fun to do anyways, mainly because you can send people small surprises to make their day a little better... and you don't have to put as much effort into each and every freebie~ They're fun to do when you have a few minutes to spare and don't know what else to do :3
