The Dueling Arena ~The RP~

"Blood? Like in a bag for transfusions? I don't think..." BillBob didn't know what to say more, but he looked at the fight and thought that if any blood of any sort could help, then they could get plenty from the monster. But that wasn't how things usually worked when people needed blood, so he just shook his head, and did his best to wrap up what he could with the kimono top.

Meanwhile, across the room on the other side of the battle, Raul looked like he was actually attempting to stand up, a surprisingly brave move for someone like him.

As for the fight, Takamura's attack on the oineren's trachea was rather successful in that it was cut through and in addition to bleeding to death and suffering from shock, the creature was now also taking blood into its lungs instead of air, and thus asphyxiating. The oineren's head hadn't been completely severed, but the spine was damaged enough to cause complete paralysis. Even if it was only temporary, the monster would be dead before it could do anything to even begin to try to heal itself.

As the oineren lay expiring with its eyes clouding over, the "other BillBob" came running into the room from the stairwell, arms full of healing scrolls and potions which he'd gathered from a first aid storage closet up by the main fighting arena.

He dodged around to reach his twin and Saito, almost skidding into a crouching position next to them. The boy who had been next to Saito this whole time grabbed a scroll that was tied with a colored thread indicating it was for the general use of stopping blood loss. Ripping the thread off with his teeth, he unrolled the parchment and started reading the spell out loud. Meanwhile, the BillBob who had just arrived set down the rest of what he'd brought and quickly selected and uncorked a healing potion and offered to pour it into Saito's mouth if the injured man would be so obliging as to open wide.

((It would be an emergency primary healing potion, witch would partially help heal the internal organs upon consumption or being put directly on or in the wound...))
Saito swallowed the potion that the twin had brought down, He could a small portion of the pain go away as it went down his throat. As he finished off the bottle he coughed slightly " I meant blood to drink.... " His voice was a little stronger now but he wasn't anywhere near fighting condition let alone in the condition to get up.  

[Takamura Kobayashi]

Takamura fell to the ground as he clutched his side. The pain of the cracked rib and punctured lung were catching up to him. He smiled wryly at the healer the other man and pitched forward, his katana clattering loudly to the ground beside him. Able to roll over Takamura rolled onto his back and lay there, staring at the ceiling as he waited for either someone to heal him, or death's cold grip to take hold of him. His breathing labored Takamura didn't think he would hold out much longer.

The BillBob who had been reading a scroll at Saito finished and grabbed another one to read over Takamura. Sure, he had wounds of his own, but they could wait until everyone who was in more danger got treatment first. He read the scroll carefully so the spell would take proper effect. It was a general sort of thing, geared mostly towards internal injuries since that's what BillBob thought looked like Takamura's main problem.

Meanwhile the BillBob who had given Saito a potion nodded and asked,
"What kind of blood? Any? Would the monster's blood do?"

Raul had been making his way slowly to where everyone else was, and finally arrived. He selected a potion for himself, but had difficulty uncorking it. He still felt rather faint, though he hadn't been injured as badly as the two swordsmen.
"We shoulda brought some of these things along with us in the first place." he mumbled, trying to open the potion.

((Just to recap: There are a total of five (or six?) people here... Saito and Takamura (and Ghost?), and three of what I refer to as "arena NPCs": Raul, and both of the twin boys who dress alike and go by the same name, BillBob.))

Saito gave a sigh "Yes... Any blood will do...." He looked over at the monster... It was looking pretty dead, but as long as it was partially alive Saito could get what life force it had form its blood and the energy...  

[Takamura Kobayashi]

Takamura felt the cooling effect of the spell take hold. He let out a sigh as he felt the hole in his lung begin to theal,a nd his broken bone reset. After Billbob had finished Takamura sat up, still in p[ain, but far better than he had been. "Damn it, what was that thing?" he asked the man that was crouched next to him.  

[Sou Jara]

Yarn sat back in a waiting room having gotten her bearings about the place.

"Then let's get you closer to the thing." BillBob replied to Saito, offering to help him move over a few feet to where the tenacious beast lay expiring.

"It's an Oineren. Nasty violent creatures who self-heal and like to tear their victims open to feast on their internal organs while they're still alive." BillBob answered Takamura while he moved to Saito's other side so that both of the twins could help. If necessary, between the two of them they could pick him up.

Raul sat near Takamura, still having difficulty with the bottle. "ughhh..."

((Jara: if I had other characters currently in the arena aside from the ones all downstairs, I'd have someone Yarn could talk to or something... but I don't.))  

[Takamura Kobayashi]

Takamura nodded as he tried to stand. He managed to make it up, but fell almost immediately to a knee. After a shot time he tried again, this time managing to stand on his own, albeit wobbly. "How much further until we reach the prisoner?" He asked as he looked down the passage.

He had their help to get over to the dying beast, He took in a deep breath and with the sigh he dug his teeth into the monsters body, Quickly beginning to drain what life the beast had left in it while he began to regain strength and his body began to heal quickly, but it wouldn't be enough for him....

The uninjured BillBob stayed by Saito to see if there would be any way he could help further, and the one who'd been traveling with the group this whole time returned to where the scrolls and potions were, to look for something to help himself. He paused to assist Raul with the bottle he'd been struggling with, and then selected a jar of ointment with magical properties that he could use to close up the deep cuts he'd received. Sitting down to rest and apply the healing ointment, BillBob answered Takamura with "I think the kidnapper is hiding out in the back of an old supply room, one level down from here."

Saito finished up quickly, afterwords slowly rising from the monsters corpse, his fangs retracting and his eyes irises changed to a blood red color "It has been a long time since I have tasted blood....." he gave a heavy sigh as he began to stretch his body, he had enough strength to fight up against normal beasts but if it came down to him having to use his powers, he wouldn't have enough strength to last very long... He needed something more pure than that but He wasn't going to get it from some beast down in the dungeon, and he wasn't going to drink the blood of a innocent woman in the streets, so he was set in his own mind "So shall we move along then???" He looked over at billbob  

[Takamura Kobayashi]

Takamura rose as he looked to the man that had just recovered. "I think it's time for introductions." he said as he bowed to the man. "I am Takamura Kobayashi." he said before straigtening. His white kimono had been stained with mud, blood, and who knows what else from the fight, and his brown hair was rather unkempt, mainly because of the sever thrashing he had just gotten, but he was still proud.

Saito bowed his head slighlty towards the man "My name is Hajime Saito.... I am also known as Guru Fujita....." He gave a sigh as he looked around, finally seeing his katana he walked over and picked it up. He pulled out a few clean peices of cloth and cleaned the blood and grime off of the blade, slowly sheathing it to make shure there were no nicks or scratches...

"We should." Uninjured BillBob answered Saito, then looked around for some kind of bag they could put the rest of the scrolls and potions in. One of the twins would have gone back upstairs after bringing the healing items down, but considering the injuries that had been sustained by everyone and the fact that Ghost seemed to have disappeared, both the twins were going to go on with the other three guys.

Injured BillBob, meanwhile, had recovered considerably, though of course he still had some remaining wounds, as did Raul. But they were all prepared to move on and, in fact, Raul was already making his way to the stairs at the far end of the room while BillBob finished helping BillBob put the scrolls and potions in a worn leather tote bag. "That's Raul." Injured BillBob said to Takamura, "And I'm BillBob."

Then he picked up the worn and partly broken deckbrush he'd been using for a weapon, and Uninjured BillBob put the tote bag over his shoulder and picked up a nearby pitchfork that he could use as a weapon. After all, there was really no telling what they would find downstairs.
